Very displeased with the attitude when booking the appointment as well as during pick up and drop off. I completed the questionnaire about what the condition of the truck was and I posted showing the truck was dirty on the floor boards and then was given a threat of if we turn in a rental dirty like that again we will be charged a cleaning fee.

Try and accommodate where people want to pick up have an employee drive it so people don't have to Drive 30 minutes away after having a reservation be cancelled 2 times.

UHaul web site unstable and takes forever. Even though I reserved a van in advance and loaded my information and driver's license photos, it had to be all redone at the time of pickup due to Uhaul system problems. This happened last time I rented a year ago too.

I should not be charged a late service fee. The vehicle was returned 3 hours early. I was told to download uhaul app for the return. Which in itself is ridiculous. Then when I did I was unable show that I returned the vehicle because no orders appeared in my account. Further, I received a text from uhaul at 11:40pm to remind me to return vehicle. When I clicked on the link provided I was unable to verify return because I was no longer at the exact drop-off location of the vehicle because as mentioned before I returned the vehicle early. I've never had these issues in the past. I'm very dissatisfied with this current transaction.

I dealt with three different people at two separate locations. The truck I researved a week in advance wasnt there. The staff at the first location were completely disinterested in fixing the issue and instead pawned me off to another location. At the second locaton I was charged $100 on what should have been $65 to $70, they tried to get me for over $80 and also charged multiple times for equipment. When I questioned the huge charge to my account, I was informed i was charged $100 because my card "wasnt a real bank card". I will NEVER set foot in another Uhaul again.

They gave me the wrong truck and I ended up paying way more than I should have. Yesterday one 10' box truck from another location @ 18 miles was $42 Today one 6' pickup @ 20 miles was $63. Even -$10 for the insurance I specifically said I didn't want, it was too much.

I was over charged compared to my on line quote tire blew out on transporter a 1and a half to 2 hour wait. I dropped off trailer and proceeded to my location.

Truck windshield was terrible. When I tried driving at night and with little moisture in the air, the windshield became unseeable through. I had to pull over before I hit anything and clean it off throughly.

This location was not the location on my rental reservation. When I arrived at the original location, there was no truck and my location had been moved to a different place without notifying me. Luckily the personnel at the original location was very helpful in finding out where I needed to go to pick up the truck. Why did that happen though UHAUL? That was very inconvenient and frustrating, especially when time was a factor in my day and the extra time spent dealing with this change was very inconvenient. The personnel at the location I actually picked up the truck from was friendly but they did not do a look over of the truck with me to check for existing damage. They just gave me the keys and my receipt and sent me on my way.

Trailer wasn't secured properly to ball mount. Trailer came off ball mount. Did minor damage to trailer wiring. Had to do field repair. Will not rent again.

The check in had lots of issues, they finally called u haul. More important they had removed the jack that raises and lowers the trailer. Said it was too slow and could be lifted by hand, which is sorta true, untill its loaded! Could not use the trailer as we had wanted. Very bad! The people were nice however.

The person who rented to me said the gas was full. She was supposed to go out and check the vehicle with me but after waiting 10 minutes, while she was took 2 other clients, I made the mistake of trusting that the vehicle was a full tank. It wasn't, and when I notified her when I dropped off the sh said that I'd have to call Uhaul and take it up with them directly. I won't go back there to rent.

Staff person was not familiar with the process and seemed a bit scattered. She had to have things said repeatedly or simplified. I took the insurance only because the person made me very nervous about whether I could trust the establishment. Also, I made it clear that I only wanted 2 days but the contract automatically put 50 hours and charged a 3rd day. I returned it prior to 48 hours. A different person corrected the billing. Seems deceptive.

It was fast, simple and easy. Not as busy a location as other U-haul locations that I have used, which means no long line to wait for service. I had the rental out for only 2 hours because it was so close to both locations I was moving to and from which saved me money on gas and mileage. When I walked into the store to return the rental they recognized me and knew why I was there. So check-stand clerks instantly switched tasks so they could wait on me immediately. What better service could one ask for! Thank you.

We needed to adjust the bill to reflect that we DID NOT order a 24 ft truck, but a 20. Because u haul screwed up the order and the appropriate pick up spot and time was changed without notice, the entire experience with u haul was a nightmare....

The terms for this rental were not explained. A contract was shoved toward me with a pen to sign. U hauls insurance rate of $28 PER DAY is thievery. And add 0.90 per mile for local use? These terms were critically important and should be disclosed to a consumer prior to putting a fine print. Legal ese contract out to be.signed as if an after thought. I will not use U Haul again. I've been a customer for 35 years and I am appalled at the hidden charges. Also it is not disclosed that if you reserve a truck and are late picking it up? The rental period begins at the reservation hour not pick up hour. That is simply cheating the consumer. I would expect to lose priority on the truck if late to pick it up. I did not expect to have the rent period start from time of reservation or to have UHaul staff call me twice to remind me that the truck is available without disclosing that picking up late results in a monetary penalty. For these reasons I find U Hauls service unsatisfactory. Instead of paying a modest rental fee I was billed $162 for 46 hours rental. That is 5 times the advertised rental fee. UHaul rakes is over billing and imposing penalties that are unconscionable if not illegal. I intend to file a complaint with the State of California for the unfair & deceptive practices I endured. One Very Unhappy Customer

This location did not have many options. The biggest problem I had was the original phone call to the 800 number. These people do not know anything about any of the locations to rent the trailer from. They told me to go to the place, when I got there they told me to go to another place, when I got there they sent me somewhere else! This wasted my time & was very frustrating!! Then they could not tell Me where I would drop off the trailer & I had to call again to find out where to go. The 800 number people are not knowledgeable about the individual rental stores & didn't help me very much, made me feel like I was wasting their time. At that point I wanted to choose a different rental company but did not have that option unfortunately. Not sure if I will use your company again or recommend it.

From start to finish it was great. I was able to park my car safely overnight. No problems picking the truck up after hours and returning it was equally as trouble free. Will rent again here!

Well after having a horrible day and working hard in the heat. I got stuck in traffic and hit the trailer back 2 hours late. Tried explaining it to them, and they just said should of called. Then after that tried to accuse me of damage. They did not do a walk around wiTh me when I picked the trailer up and didn't do a walk around with me after either. Just said I damaged the trailer. And after arguing and proving I could not of done the damage they let me go. I don't know why a feed store is renting Uhaul's in the first place. They seem like they don't know what they are doing and are overwhelmed. Especially on a Saturday. I will not use this location in the future. Oh and this was the third time my reservation got moved to this horrible place.

I had a question about returning/changing my reservation about 20 minutes after I had left the facility. My circumstances had changed resulting in the possibility of not needed the $500 uhaul. The staff told me in order to change my reservation, i had to call the go-uhaul number. (I later found out I could have returned the vehicle and only paid the milage which would have saved me more than $500) I waited on the phone for customer support (on the 1800 uahul number) from 430-515 where I gave up since the hours of customer service end at 5. It sucked that no one was able to help me and give me the simple information I needed to not go through the bullshit I did. Overall, I was incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of information i was able to obtain, unnecessarily amount of money spent on an avoidable experience, and difficulty I have experienced trying to remedy this situation. I called customer support again and after 4 transfers and 1 hr and 15 min, they said because once I had arrived in san diego (shortly after driving 12 hours) and failed to mention anything on the phone with them (since I wanted to be done with everything) about the returning the truck elsewhere (which isnt the case but that is what they said) they couldn't help me. Thanks for being super unapologetic customer service and unaccommodating. I wasn't asking for a refund, just some type of credit/reinbursement/ explanation..... Can't wait to throw this in the small video edit we are putting together. Maybe the uhaul will make it to the photo gallery opening in September this trip was all about, in its appropriate light of course

During pick-up, the manager yelled at an employee in front of my daughter and I. It startled both of us. I returned the truck 48 hours later and was charged for three days. I drove the truck approximately 34 miles and was charged for 68 miles. I called to dispute the charges and was told I would be called back that day, but received no call back. I called back the next day and was told to call "Traffic" and sort it out. The manager would not get on the phone with me. The 3rd day was credited back, but the miles were not credited. I drove it 3.6 miles to my home, loaded up, drove 13 miles to a flea market, unloaded, parked it, finished the show, loaded it, drove 13 miles home, unloaded, drove 4 miles back to drop off. That's 34 miles. I'm disputing this charge with my credit card company, which I've never done in the history of my banking life, but I'm not being taken advantage of. I will never use UHaul again (and I've used them MANY times) and you can bet I will never go to Larsen's Feed again. Credit my mileage back and I will consider using UHaul again. Call me at 415-794-0366 and fix the problem.

placed order for 15 feet but one day ahead got notified only 10 feet available nearby 50 miles. That is insane. I have stuff more than 10 feet truck can hold. Ridiculously the stuff online said 10 feet have *abundent* space, and I have no time to find other truck company since you call just one day ahead and tell me there is no 15 feet. I am VERY disappointed by this transaction. Will NOT use it ever again. of course no recommendation!
