During pick-up, the manager yelled at an employee in front of my daughter and I. It startled both of us. I returned the truck 48 hours later and was charged for three days. I drove the truck approximately 34 miles and was charged for 68 miles. I called to dispute the charges and was told I would be called back that day, but received no call back. I called back the next day and was told to call "Traffic" and sort it out. The manager would not get on the phone with me. The 3rd day was credited back, but the miles were not credited. I drove it 3.6 miles to my home, loaded up, drove 13 miles to a flea market, unloaded, parked it, finished the show, loaded it, drove 13 miles home, unloaded, drove 4 miles back to drop off. That's 34 miles. I'm disputing this charge with my credit card company, which I've never done in the history of my banking life, but I'm not being taken advantage of. I will never use UHaul again (and I've used them MANY times) and you can bet I will never go to Larsen's Feed again. Credit my mileage back and I will consider using UHaul again. Call me at 415-794-0366 and fix the problem.

placed order for 15 feet but one day ahead got notified only 10 feet available nearby 50 miles. That is insane. I have stuff more than 10 feet truck can hold. Ridiculously the stuff online said 10 feet have *abundent* space, and I have no time to find other truck company since you call just one day ahead and tell me there is no 15 feet. I am VERY disappointed by this transaction. Will NOT use it ever again. of course no recommendation!

The mileage was off from the paperwork and the truck cab was dirty. The vehicle seemed to have transmissions issues. Truck felt a bit unreliable.



They were the friendliest, most helpful people I have dealt with. Especially after booking a truck at a Forestville location for today and upon showing up, I see a handwritten note on the door saying they have chosen to close the next few Mondays. None of that was mentioned on their website. So I went to Larsens instead, and got the best treatment I could have ever expected.

This is a side business to a Feed Store. While I appreciate their willingness to offer the service and availability, they really don't have the proper set-up or manpower to maintain full service U-Haul services. The expectation that a daily rental is "limited" to whatever hours of usage may be estimated at the time of reservation is onerous and unrealistic. Obviously, this is done to promote repetitive daily charges and should be avoided assiduously. UHaul should attempt to draw in or realign their vehicle fleet to areas which have a high utilization rate as needed.

Tell customers that even though you reserve a certain truck based On your needs and set up a pick up time, there is no guarantee you will get what you reserved! I reserved a 26' truck a month prior to my moving date. The day before I was to pick up, I received a text saying my truck would not be available until 1pm. I requested 7am and had that reservation in writing and via text on the day I reserved it! I was paying movers to load , $100. an hour starting at 8am! I called U Haul and was transferred 6 times until someone found me another 26foot in another town! This was stress I didn't need!

Sent to UHaul My comments are not related to the pick-up or drop-off locations, but about my overall experience with uHaul, which was poor. Below is the history: I reserved a 26' uHaul for a one-way trip from Petaluma, CA to Las Vegas. NV. I selected North Bay Storage, in Petaluma, for the pick-up. Date to pick up truck: Saturday; September 8. This rental was confirmed via email. On Thursday, September 6 I received a call confirming my 26' truck and letting me know the nearest pick-up was in Napa. This is ONE HOUR from where I live. It was not reasonable to ask me to pick up a truck an hour away, which meant someone driving me out to pick up truck and two people having to drive back to Petaluma. In order to keep the 26' truck, I would have needed to change my move date, which was not an option. I opted for a 20' truck which was still in another town , but only 20 minutes away. To help make the most out of the space, I hired two guys from a company uHaul had on their website. Since this was a company uHaul had listed, I assumed they would be experienced packers/movers. This was clearly not the case. These young men were on time, pleasant, and worked hard, but clearly had no experience packing a truck. When they left, we (me and three family members) unloaded the entire truck and re-packed it. I took pictures as we Unloaded. It was shocking. Stuff was going in every direction. It was unsafe and I guarantee would have resulted in major damage had we not repacked. As it was there were scratches and multiple issues. When we repacked, we were able to get more furniture in, but the 20' truck simply wasn't big enough and we had to leave behind many items, Including a washer and dryer, patio furniture and chairs, plus some miscellaneous boxes. Now, I have to find another way to get the remaining items to Vegas, which means another rental ruck or purchasing new items. All will cost significantly more then what the 26' truck would have cost. I will call to talk to customer service and would like to see how uHaul will help. I would like uHaul to provide another (smaller is ok) truck. Leisa Butler 415-847-3197



My biggest issue is not anything pertaining to the polite and friendly people I dealt with at Larsens Feed....Quickest I ever got my equipment...My issue is this was over 30 miles away from where I lived and was not where I had originally planned to pick up my equipment. I feel your online site was very misleading as was your customer service over the phone.

I had rented a cargo van from a different location just a few miles away and was surprised to find this one had a higher mileage rate attached.. More of a couriosity than a complaint. Don't know if f it was just a weekend rate or holiday rate because rates went back down on Monday.

When we arrived at the facility the sales agent had no idea how to release the vehicle per the U-Haul truck share 24/7. It took us over two hours and several phone calls to the main service number in order to teach the personnel at this location how to release this vehicle for this program. More training is necessary! We barely made our deadline with a two hour delay.

He place I ordered from did but get the reserved van in time, so I had to go somewhere else (the confirmation email did not make this clear). Then, the person who rang up the transaction clearly didn't know what he was doing and admitted this. The whole process took over half hour just to pay for the truck and I had to remind him of the dolly twice. Truck only had 1/4 tank of gas when picked up and now I'm being charged $50 for a fill up even after dropping it off with the same amount of fuel. Also, the website had so many errors with loading that I couldn't check the truck in after hours. Then I was sent a "reciept" where the attachment was blank and the contact email was invalid. The website didn't have a receipt that I could view and the "live chat" didn't respond to me. I had to email customer service to get a working receipt (where I learned that I am being charged for gas that I shouldn't be charged for). Plus, the van I ordered was advertised as being able to move a 1 bedroom apartment, which it could not, and required 2 trips. The whole process was inconvenient at best, completely misleading and unprofessional at worst. Terrible experience and incredibly frustrating.
