Truck sensors were broken so as soon as we drove away with the truck, it is flashing messages to us that things were not working correctly. At one point it wouldn't stop telling us we have a flat, so we put the flashers on and park off to the side to check the tires. All tires were good, but such a head ache. I could not check in mobil due the pictures not loading on the site, so i can not prove the truck had more miles on it than they thought it did. Just overall, not happy with the truck rental.

This was not a pleasant experience. When I arrived, there was no clear signage or direction indicating where the trucks were located. The parking lot was disorganized, with U-Haul trucks parked randomly, making it difficult to find mine. I had to go back inside to ask where to locate the truck. Once I found it, I noticed that the moving pads I had requested were not inside. I went back inside again to ask for them, but by that time, the line was long. I approached a staff member to ask about the pads, but he continued assisting another customer. Normally, I wouldn’t have minded waiting, but after about five minutes, I told him I had movers at my home waiting, charging $180 per hour and I really needed to get going. Even after explaining that, he continued helping the other customer and only after finishing did he have me and another customer follow him outside to retrieve our additional items. The process felt chaotic and unorganized. To make matters worse, when I returned the truck, I noticed I was billed twice. When I spoke with a representative, she told me the reservation was only for six hours. I was shocked there had to be a mistake. I had reserved a 26-foot truck to move a four-bedroom home, which clearly cannot be done in just six hours. I was under the impression the rental was for the full day. She informed me that the rate is the same whether for six hours or 24 hours. If that’s the case, why is the six-hour option even offered? It feels misleading and gives the impression of a deceptive business practice meant to generate additional charges. I would like to be contacted regarding a refund for the extra charges. This experience was frustrating, time-consuming, and costly. I expected a more professional and transparent process.

All of the trucks were down in a muddy hole. One customer returned their truck and blocked the entrance, making it difficult for me to squeeze to the back to drop my truck off. I spent almost $200 and the check engine light was on the entire time.

Had an issue at the rental counter but the only person who could help was 20 minutes away. Truck was buried in mud and owner had to back into it with another truck to get it unstuck. Then found interior of cab and box covered in dirt and had to clean out the box before loading because we were slipping on it. Would drive out of my way and incur additional mileage charges to rent from somewhere else next time.

I did not like that. You initially changed my reservation to a different location that was much further away from my home. However, you rectified the situation quickly when I asked for it to be put back to the original location.

They did not open at 8am Sat as specified by UHaul, they open at 10am. When they opened there was no one there that handled UHaul. The lady that worked there had to call someone who called me and did the renting over the phone. The guy on the phone was nice and completed my rental. After I completed the phone process, I went to get my truck and the back of the trucks were all half open and there was water in the back of the truck that I had to clean out before driving. There were no UHaul packing accessories. Overall it was the worst renting experience I've had and I have rented a lot from UHaul.

The truck is was reserved needed a wheel alignment and was very dirty underneath the seats on the floor. Also the gas gauge was incorrectly reported on the contract from the sales people

Well the issue i had with U-haul the first truck would not start then I had to get a ride with someone to another location which sit me back and hour with my moving, But U-haul step up and handle the situation with no problem, Yes i would tell a friend,

The U-Haul app is a nightmare. I was kicked out multiple times when trying to take and submit the required photos. I did call you 800 number when I returned the equipment and the operator was very helpful.

When we picked up the truck, she could not find the reservation. Then created a new reservation for in-town but we were taking it 650+ miles away. Then the truck we reserved had a check engine light on, so they swapped it for a 26 ft truck that was not cleaned or ready for rental. I called the scheduling department and they told me that she couldn't find it because they moved my reservation to another location at 1133 they texted me but my pickup time was 10AM. I am very unhappy with this reservation, plus we were taking a trailer as a favor to uhaul up to our drop off location and they tried charging us for it.

This seems to be a side hustle for a junky "antique" store with no signage indicating that they are also a U-Haul location. Also, the trucks and trailers are parked downhill behind the storefront and out of sight from the road. When you call, you will just be greeted with a yawning "Hello?" as if you reached a private number. Wondering if you got the wrong number, you will then have to ask if this is a U-Haul location, to which the guy will confirm. The total lack of professionalism will have you doubting the validity of your reservation, but they are legit. The sloping narrow lot where the trucks and trailers are parked is a pothole-ridden, bumpy history of sporadic asphalt and concreted dumps. It's not unsafe, but very annoying, especially if you are renting a trailer and need to back up to hook up. To his credit, the attendant was very helpful in the hook-up. I rented a dozen moving blankets. The attendant bringing them to the trailer was dropping several of them on the ground, as they were all unfolded and in a jumbled mess, some with a little yard debris (leaves and twigs) clinging to the fabric. I did not take the time to count them, but later discovered that there were only ten, not twelve. Fortunately, I was not charged for the missing two blankets on my final invoice once I returned the trailer with all ten moving blankets, which I carefully folded. The trailer was in good condition with no damage and served my purpose very well. The location was convenient for me, as there were not a lot of rental trailer options. The trailer was available when I needed it, having reserved it in advance, which is highly advisable.

The rear roll-up door of the trailer released on it's own, and I lost part of my load. I was not happy about this. I rented an enclosed trailer. This should include a DOOR that stays closed/locked. Once it rolled up on it's own, you could not get the door to come back down so I had to drive the rest of the way there with the door open. I rented an ENCLOSED trailer, that SHOULD include a functional DOOR.
