They included the insurance charge, when the reservation was without insurance, and since no one physically attended to me, everything was through a man who did it by phone with another man from that office, they charged me 60 dollars more in my contract. I'm going to claim a refund.Sergio G.

Vehicle was dirty inside and out , the parking lot was too narrow and was difficult to exit. Seedy characters in and around the property try to create conflict. The workers had know knowledge of the systems and are trying to steal identities instead of rent trucks. There's no place to park your vehicle while renting a vehicle from here. There wasn't a proper place to return the vehicle I had to go park it behind the building in a sketchy alley. Avoid this location at all costs! Not to mention nobody had a mask or any type of professional attire.shaun S.

This was undoubtedly the worst customer service transaction I have ever experienced. I was informed I would be contacted by the area GM which did not occur. A brief overview of my transaction listed below. - Scheduled pickup time at 9AM. Manger didn't arrive to open the location until 9:45AM. I had to return my keys to my property manager at 11AM and do a walkthrough at that time as well. - I completed the online check-in to expedite my pickup. The manager proceeded to take me through the entire check-in process and was confused how my information was already in the system -We went out to the "parking lot" which was a mud lot that was completely flooded with my Uhaul and auto transport submerged right in the thick of it. - Once attempting to start the car the battery was dead. Only later was I informed by the Manager he left the lights on causing a dead battery the night prior. - At this time I spoke with my property manager and she had to rearrange her schedule to come at 1PM. - The manager was attempting to jump start the vehicle with his personal car, only to be informed by corporate call center agent that was against UHaul guidelines. - An hour later the technician arrives and upon seeing the auto transport already attached states the uhaul truck must be packed then the auto transport attached ( I agree'd and stated that was what I had requested although the store operator did not believe so). - The technician replaced my battery and I was finally able to go load my items at 12:30PM. - Obviously realizing I would not be able to load my items in 15 minutes I had to again reschedule with my property manager and her only other available time was 4PM. - This would eventually ruin my 1st day of travel, it caused me to purchase a hotel room in Jacksonville for the evening incurring additional costs for the hotel room and food for the evening. - I arrived back at the Uhaul store location at 5PM to attach my auto transport and begin my trip - The store parking lot was gated off with no ability to enter. The store manager did not know who had the keys. - 30 minutes later the key holder was found and the gate was unlocked - Once I backed the Uhaul to the AT the store manager said to me and I quote â€œOk, so do you know how to get this attached? Because I don't.â€ - After which I knew chaos would ensue, he recruits other associated to assist him. I'm looking up youtube videos to attach the AT. - 90 minutes later the AT gets attached through a team effort even though the UHAUL website advertises a 5-minute hookup. - As I'm pulling out of the lot the store manager yells at me to stop, because he hadn't attached the emergency chains to the undercarriage and they were dragging on the ground. Again this is just a BRIEF overview of some of the mishaps I incurred and no resolution came from this, no one reached out to me, and I absolutely hate writing negative reviews or even complaining in customer service as I work in the hospitality industry. I just can't for the safety of other future customers go without notifying you of my experience.Sean P.

Extremely bad customer services. Unsafe. It seems that the guys do not know what are they doing. The checking was done by phone and I have to give my credit card number to the one that did the check in in front of few people. If my credit card information gets stolen, uhaul is going to be responsible for it. You should close that location. The car was smelling to feces and urine.Michel G.
