The location sucks the service there was horrible but unfortunately they where the ones that had the vehicle I needed

The truck had a smell very unpleasant, it was dirty all around. The shop wasn’t open until 10:30am and the person wasn’t helpful once he got there, for the return, same story, a figure it out kind of situation. Never again, renting trucks from the Home Depot next time or if long gain, I’ll rather do the sacrifice of paying extra so I don’t deal with something like this again

Stephano LI had the worst experience at this location ever. I was called out of my name, I was belittled and spoken down on. The truck was not clean or ready. My bike was also stolen from this location.
anthony sThe location provided horrible service. I specifically chose mobile pick up to make the process easier but when I went through the process I didn't receive a code for the key box. upon calling customer service, they were able to provide it but when I opened it, the key was not there. So I had to go inside to find someone who can help. a young boy tried hard but didn't know what to do so he had to call his mom who was at home to ask what to do. As I watched his speak with her I could see she was distracted and it took him several minutes to get her to listen. after much discussion he was finally able to get permission from her to give me the key. I lost 40 minutes of my reservation because of this and found it extremely frustrating. This location needs to be better monitored.
Yvonne PA mi me gustó porque en verdad estuve como en 4 lugares y no encontraba y una joven que esta en la 2nd 56 st fue la que me lo consiguió por 3l lo sitio que fui nadie me dio información y ella fue muy amable conmigo y me consiguió uno en este lugar y muy agradecido con ella porque pude resolver lo que quería no me se el nombre de ella pero ella fue muy amable y muy social conmigo y ella esta ubicada en la 2nd y la 56 miami Florida 33138 y donde rente el vehículo también fueron muy amables
JOSE LThis is the worst location to rent a Uhaul. The van was dirty .The location was a mess and the person who rented the van out to me did not know what she was doing. My biggest issue is I was billed a ridiculous amount for a 1 hour rental driving for less than 20 miles I have to call Uhaul in the morning to see how they can resolve it
Gordon MTerrible service at the location, rude, not friendly. Even though I did the process online when I got there I still had to wait like 30 minutes to get the keys as they made me do the line. The car was not in drivable conditions. There was NO rearview on the right side.
Yossi M. A roach climbed up my leg while waiting for the guy to check me in . The trucks were in the back area of the building, which is a dump (literally, there is trash and debris everywhere) . The place had an housñrs of operations sign saying they are closed on Sundays . The van was dirty inside and out . The guy was on the phone the whole time I was there . I signed everything on the app and it still took 25 minutes of me being in that gross place and interacting with this guy . The van had a car parked behind it, which a lady had to move for me to get out . The space to maneuver the van to get out is dangerously tight . I don't think I should pay for this

Chris AEnded up redoing the reservation to a self pick up because front desk would not assist with pick up, truck had flat tire and no gas as well as dead battery, guy called me after I dropped off truck to insist it was missing the dolly that we left (locked!) in the back of truck. Horrible experience, will never use Uhaul again

Patrick GThey dis not charge me nor invoice me at the time of the return. The chose to do it a day later and overcharge me for gasoline. I left the truck with as much gas as it was when rented. The level didn't show the same amount of gas as the paper when rented. Even if I was short, there is no way they needed 9 more gallons of gas. RIP.OFF
EDUARDO PArriving at the moving location the wheel of the truck was flat. I have called for Assistance at 4.00 pm and they arrived at 11.00 pm. I couldn’t load a second round and complete my task. Uhaul didn’t refund my rental and didn’t offer me any other rental for free to compensate, even though all that happened was clearly documented in my file. I was told that the manager will contact me I’m still awaiting.
philippe kIt was difficult to find parking, and the store manager was a bit overwhelmed with other business at the time of my rental. Once I received the keys, the truck was blocked in the parking lot and I couldn't leave the premises, cutting into my rental time. It was an unnecessary frustration and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.
Kipp NThe van had low tire pressure, was dirty and full of roaches. Make sure you keep the van clean and check the maintenance.

Kenneth PInitially I was told that I would be charged $.69 a mile but when I got my email receipt I was charged $.99 a mile by the agent and other charges that weren't explained to me. I was very disappointed in the unexplained charges.

joel cMy original reservation was canceled. I called and the guy was very little help. I booked a new reservation online. Once I arrived at pickup gentleman helping me required three different phone numbers of “people to contact” came across as data mining phone numbers. Then I had to wait for the guy to unlock lot and move trucks around. Rental agreement had the wrong amount of gas. Van has visible damage not marked, tire pressure and warning lights were on. Upon returning van, I explained gas gauge issue, was told everything was OK, only to get a bill for 5 gallons of gas when I only drove the van 6 total miles. Then to top it off, I was charged $20 for insurance that I declined as well. This location and proprietors are flat out running a racket. Now that I read other reviews on this location it seems to be expected at this location. Shame on U-haul for allowing this.

MARIE JThey included the insurance charge, when the reservation was without insurance, and since no one physically attended to me, everything was through a man who did it by phone with another man from that office, they charged me 60 dollars more in my contract. I'm going to claim a refund.
Sergio GVehicle was dirty inside and out , the parking lot was too narrow and was difficult to exit. Seedy characters in and around the property try to create conflict. The workers had know knowledge of the systems and are trying to steal identities instead of rent trucks. There’s no place to park your vehicle while renting a vehicle from here. There wasn’t a proper place to return the vehicle I had to go park it behind the building in a sketchy alley. Avoid this location at all costs! Not to mention nobody had a mask or any type of professional attire.

Lashunda SThis was undoubtedly the worst customer service transaction I have ever experienced. I was informed I would be contacted by the area GM which did not occur. A brief overview of my transaction listed below. - Scheduled pickup time at 9AM. Manger didn’t arrive to open the location until 9:45AM. I had to return my keys to my property manager at 11AM and do a walkthrough at that time as well. - I completed the online check-in to expedite my pickup. The manager proceeded to take me through the entire check-in process and was confused how my information was already in the system -We went out to the "parking lot" which was a mud lot that was completely flooded with my Uhaul and auto transport submerged right in the thick of it. - Once attempting to start the car the battery was dead. Only later was I informed by the Manager he left the lights on causing a dead battery the night prior. - At this time I spoke with my property manager and she had to rearrange her schedule to come at 1PM. - The manager was attempting to jump start the vehicle with his personal car, only to be informed by corporate call center agent that was against UHaul guidelines. - An hour later the technician arrives and upon seeing the auto transport already attached states the uhaul truck must be packed then the auto transport attached ( I agree’d and stated that was what I had requested although the store operator did not believe so). - The technician replaced my battery and I was finally able to go load my items at 12:30PM. - Obviously realizing I would not be able to load my items in 15 minutes I had to again reschedule with my property manager and her only other available time was 4PM. - This would eventually ruin my 1st day of travel, it caused me to purchase a hotel room in Jacksonville for the evening incurring additional costs for the hotel room and food for the evening. - I arrived back at the Uhaul store location at 5PM to attach my auto transport and begin my trip - The store parking lot was gated off with no ability to enter. The store manager did not know who had the keys. - 30 minutes later the key holder was found and the gate was unlocked - Once I backed the Uhaul to the AT the store manager said to me and I quote “Ok, so do you know how to get this attached? Because I don’t.” - After which I knew chaos would ensue, he recruits other associated to assist him. I’m looking up youtube videos to attach the AT. - 90 minutes later the AT gets attached through a team effort even though the UHAUL website advertises a 5-minute hookup. - As I’m pulling out of the lot the store manager yells at me to stop, because he hadn’t attached the emergency chains to the undercarriage and they were dragging on the ground. Again this is just a BRIEF overview of some of the mishaps I incurred and no resolution came from this, no one reached out to me, and I absolutely hate writing negative reviews or even complaining in customer service as I work in the hospitality industry. I just can’t for the safety of other future customers go without notifying you of my experience.
Sean PExtremely bad customer services. Unsafe. It seems that the guys do not know what are they doing. The checking was done by phone and I have to give my credit card number to the one that did the check in in front of few people. If my credit card information gets stolen, uhaul is going to be responsible for it. You should close that location. The car was smelling to feces and urine.
