The girl was VERY helpful in helping reserve the truck. After we paid the next day, the guy just handed us the key. I expected some kind of instructions or for him to walk out to the truck with us. It also would have been good to be told the office hours of the place where we were returning the uhaul.REBECCA W.
I am an older single woman. When I returned the trailer to this location and asked the man at the register to unhook my trailer he said he had never done this before. There were other uhaul trailers there so I expect this would not be new to him. He finally did unhook the trailer but not after asking me specifically if I could lift the tongue off the ball. The place had no ability to assist with the installation of the trailer and the lady running the convenience store wasn't especially cordial. She was focused on getting a photo of my truck and the trailer and that was it. The tow dolly had multiple rivets missing and before the end of the trip we had troubles with both the ramp pinning spring and tail light. I expected more assistance and that the dolly would be in sound working condition.Todd C.

Woman said we were not coustomers so we had to wait until their were no more gas station patrons to even get checked in for the uhaul. Eventhough,we came in before the other people she said we did no have priority; due to uhaul being there side business. Horrible! Had pick up appt for 930. Gas station was closed. She gave us a giant car hauler that cost extra because she said the tow dolly wasn't for front wheel drive. Then she made us put the car on it ourselves. If my husband hadn't come with me I would have never got it. Then the tow light wire was missing then the taillight was out. She said drive it anyway. Called uhaul and sat on phone on hold for 30 minutes. She finally told us to take the smaller one that she said would not work. We had to hook that up ourselves too. Didn't get out til 11am! Truck was filthy! Never again! Called uhaul when we got back sent pics and everything and never heard another word. They didn't even credit back the amount for the larger hauler! Called Beforehand and the lady was extremely rude. When we got there to pick up the trailer she kept stopping helping us to go check out other people. Entire time we were there she was on the phone screaming at someone in another language and at one point she just disappeared for 10 minutes. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. As far as the trailer one of the blinkers did not work and the connector was not nearly long enough to reach the truck, we went and took a 4-pin extension off another trailer.MARIO M.

Didn't have reserved vehicle. Didn't change the price of the larger truck I was forced to take. Smelled like smoke. Wheel pulled to the left and I had to fight it the whole way. All of that I could deal with, but the service was TERRIBLE! Confrontation, rude, and annoyed at all my questions. I'll never use this place or uhaul EVER again.JOHN E.

Rented dolly for a 3 room move and no dolly. She asked about insurance. When we asked about the insurance all she said was I dont know.(no answers).Michael R.
I arrived on time and there was no one there. After waiting 30 minutes, I called the telephone number on the door. I got a lady who could not speak English at all. I will never in my life ever go back there again. She could not understand my name, she could not understand when I spelled it out using words for the letters, and she could not understand my credit card numbers.Michael S.
Originally I was supposed to pick up in Williamston SC on I believe Webb Road....Bannister Garage. Noone was there at 930 AM, pickup was scheduled for counter pickup at 9AM. They also didn't have at 26' truck on-site. I called their phone number and I got a phone that their mailbox was full. Luckily I was able to call national rental number and switch my pickup location. New pickup location on Liberty Hwy was smooth and went well there. Drop-off at King ST in Charleston was smooth and np issues there as well.Paul M.
Rented a car trailer to haul my vehicle gave the young kid all the info, after driving 1.5hr drive to find out when I pulled it on the trailer it scrubbed all 4 of my custom rims.... very disappointedCole M.

We ordered a 10 foot truck and they said they didn't have any so we paid a little more and got the 15 foot truck they said they had. When we got there they said they didn't have it and all they had were 26 foot trucks and then they charged us more for the truck we didn't even need to begin with.Paul G.

I had no problem with the Rental Procedure or the Staff at this location. The vehicle was another situation. The Truck was Dirty inside and out, cab was very stinky/cigarette smoke odor, box was full of dirt and trash, ramp was covered with red dirt/mud, gas tank was 1/4 full on acceptance...you could tell the vehicle was parked and then rented with NO Clean Up or Service at all....CHECK ENGINE light came on approximately half way through the trip. **I had to clean the truck up personally before we loaded it and drove to our destination. We were on a tight schedule, otherwise I would have returned it for an alternate vehicle. ------VERY DISSATISFIED WITH VEHICLE OVERALL------- I feel this particular truck should be pulled from the fleet for a complete check up, alignment and tire evaluation, not to mention an engine check up also. I was charged $20 for an â€œafter hours service feeâ€ and that was NEVER disclosed to me in any document. I showed up to drop off the rental a day early and was told there is a $20 after hours fee. Unacceptable to not tell people this before hand. Incredibly diasspointed!Zachariah B.

The U-Haul AT's are just perfect. They are low profile and tow easily. Penske does not rent their AT's unless the AT is pulled by their rental truck. Go U-Haul !!!Marshall C.

The cashier was rude. She kept making remarks and having me walk back and forth down the hill for information she was supposed to get herself. I've previously worked for uhaul so I know procedures. But this experience was just terrible. She also threatened to charge an extra $10 for the dolly when I told her I couldn't lift it out the truck after she previously stated it was fine she could get it out herself.Brittney H.

The cab was dirty. Trash in the floor board. Chips and soda cans. Asked about it when I picked up and the lady said tough and that she only makes 25 dollars on a one way trip. She only cared about the back of the truck.Matthew R.

Personnel was no help . They did not know how or would not connect the car carrier to the truck. They provided us with faulty wiring for the trailer light connection twice. We reserved an appliance dolly that was issued to someone else. The explanation was given that we had a one way rental and they didn't want to save it for us, because they wouldn't get it back. That made moving our refrigerator almost impossible. This was a one way rental across country.JOHN L.
