The only tricky part was that the person who coordinated me picking up the trailer wasn’t on site-the gas station attendant had to call him and I spoke with him on the phone. It didn’t hinder our ability to pick it up; it was just a bit unexpected. The gentleman on the phone was very kind and courteous, and was able to help me upgrade our trailer to the next size up, which I greatly appreciated!

I have had the WORST experience using Uhaul for my moving experience. I was supposed to have picked my truck up at 309 Webb Rd, Williamston, SC. I got there and we did the paper work, and Joseph Bannister charged my card. I waited about 15-20 minutes for him to bring me the truck, and he comes back and says "bad news but we got broken into a couple nights ago and a bunch of batters and stuff were stolen out of the uhauls so I don't have a truck for you" and he hands me a receipt where he refunded it and the uhaul number. Im extremely concerned because I've been struggling financially and had saved specifically for this move and didn't have any extra cash really. I asked him when my money would be back, and he said probably tomorrow. I had to be out of the old place by that day so I called uhaul again and explained my situation. And she finally came to a solution. The guy could've just transferred it but I went to the new location. The liberty food mart. She had a uhaul rep call them letting them know to give me a truck because i'd already paid for it i would just have to take it to the williamson location so it could be transferred out. The clerk was VERY rude and didn't want to deal with it. She said "it didn't work that way in her store" and ended up charging me AGAIN. So i'm left with like 21 cents to my name. I call uhaul once more and she called the williamston location to let them know they needed to call credit card processing so i could possibly get my money that night. He said he did but got voicemail and i never heard anything back. then i called again, and they told me to call my bank and that it could possibly be expedited. So i did and they said they couldn't but to call uhaul once more. So again I did and they finally had an authorization code so I call my bank and they're like they still can't do anything. So it's been since the 5th and it's now the 9th and I still don't have my money back. I will NEVER use uhaul again for any moving purposes. I should be refunded the full amount for all of the stress and trouble it's caused me. I wasn't even able to put gas back in the truck because of this, and I'm scared I'm going to get penalized for it which I should because of what happened. WORST experience ever. I didn't even get the truck until about 4:30-5:00

The cashier was completely incompetent. She called someone who claimed to be a manager and wanted to process my credit card over the phone in the middle of the store. I had to call customer support with U-Haul to process my payment. The experience took over 45 minutes and was extremely frustrating. The cashier was not able to give me a printout of the contract or anything. I would not recommend this U-Haul to anyone for any reason. They should not be allowed to rent U-Hauls anymore.

She was very helpful but there were no blankets or dolly. I thought I had rented a dolly, but it apparently was not added to the order. The location was exceptionally busy with only one person helping all customers, so it was a slow, constantly interrupted process.

We originally had our reservation at a location close to our home for 9am. When we got to the desk, the worker said that they did not have the trailer we ordered off the phone with a UHAUL representative. So she had to call and find another trailer at a gas station for us to rent. This gas station was awful and took us almost 30 minutes of wait time to get our reservation finished. Even though I filled out the early check in info online. It was very stressful and put us an hour behind schedule. The uhaul trailer was great and worked for our needs but the service was subpar.

I did not get a receipt and it is cheaper to use a debit card then use cash and I was thanking it's 29.99 to rent the truck but it was more the last time I use u haul it was cheaper then this time and yes I was happy but I would like to know why it was more this time

This location is running a fuel racket. My truck had a empty tank warning - 46 miles to empty. I had to put gas in to leave the lot. I only had a short delivery to make, 55 miles in total. The attendents instructions were to return with "the same amount of fuel" when returning the vehicle. The warning light came on as I got off the freeway to Anderson, so I stopped and put $5 in just 4 miles from Liberty. The attendant told me it had 1/4 tank when I left and the software would bill my card $50+ dollars if I didn't fuel up at her station. Outrageous! I'm likely to use a different vendor in the future. No one one site to work with. Clerk handed phone to me and said talk. No one to help hook up or help with turn in. My wife was told to find some one in the parking lot and ask them for help(not an employee, just a stranger). Trailer was booked twice and was awkward when two people showed up to pick up the same trailer. On the up side the location did not charge me for returning 2 hrs late and that was greatly appreciated.

1. Can barely communicate in English 2. No one on site that knows anything have to use the phone in the gas station to talk to the person 3. They ask for everything I submitted in the pre pickup forms online. 4. Got it hooked up and then when I got it to where we were loading discovered 1/2 the light didnt work. Bought a new connector for my truck, that didnt work then discovered the wiring harness on the trailer was frayed in half. Usually your dealer/locations are professionals I will NEVER pick up a unit hear again, and I will be sure no one in the Clemson, Anderson, Greenville area I know uses this place.

No U-haul employee on site, it was a “call in” situation. Although I did clean the trailer interior prior to return, no one checked it so the next person could have record a dirty trailer

So I was really pleased with the tow dolly but it wouldn't be nice because I went from Anderson and I ended up in Charleston but I could have just dropped it off at a 24-hour full no fee it was just a car dolly

I want to start by saying that I very rarely write reviews of my experiences with customer service. I tend to respect all customer service representatives being a firm believer in you get what you give in primarily ALL customer/worker relations. This particular transaction at the Liberty Hwy U-Haul pickup at Liberty Food Mart BP was deplorable. The date of service was 2/24/2018 at 12:00pm. My name is LaShella Ellis and I made a reservation on line for a 10' truck to be picked up at 12:00pm. I was expecting a very simple transaction having arrived early to pick up the truck. I would also like to add that the U-Haul server/system was down on this particular day. And I was totally understanding that this was not at all the clerks fault who was assisting us. However, the young woman who served as cashier and U-Haul representative at this location was unprofessional, extremely rude, and hurtful in her dealings with me. She did not verify my reservation, sent me to another location only to find I should have in fact picked up with her. And when I returned she was extremely off putting in her demeanor, agitated, disrespectful, she refused to wait on me, and she even called traffic and lied saying she could not locate the key to the truck in order to re-route me again to another location so that she would not have to wait on me. I have never been so disrespected. She continued her blatant frustrations with the situation by bad mouthing me to the other patrons in the store. It was unbelievable. The young woman I feel hoped to drive me to frustration so that I would leave in a huff and go somewhere else. I did not. I waited until she was fully calm in order for her to complete the transaction; and that was approximately 45 minutes. This exchange should have taken no more than 5 minutes.
