It took a long time to have my information to be processed. I was also given the wrong keys to the wrong truck and the inside of the truck that I used was dirty plus the side mirror was broken. When calling into customer service, we requested a call back twice and each time we were called back we were hung up on. We sat on hold for several hours trying to talk to someone about return time and other issues.Charles W.

As you never can catch all things, one became an issue for me. The trailer wiring ( 4 pin connector) was chain abused and had exposed and broken wiring. Enough damage was present that the running lights were unable to be maintained and I had to run a bypass into the wiring. The brakes and turn signals worked, but I never expected to start repairing and taping wire at night.Steven O.

It would be nice to have vehicle you want at your local rental location. More of a for sure thing - then having to drive 3.5 hrs round trip to pick up a truck. The moving process is already tiring and stressful - and that just adds to it.Brian S.

Moving day happens every year on this day. I booked my uhaul a month in advance and I got a call two days prior that I had to go pick up Dubuque. An hour and a half away. Fine, I was credited for the miles and had to call back and ask for a credit for the gas from Dubuque to CR. I get there at my appointment time and they say my truck won't be available for another 2 hours and they gave me a 10 foot instead of 15 and took $20 off my bill. So that tiny truck was still charging me $150. I have yet to see the $20 come off in my account. I had to be out of the house that evening and the truck didn't fit all of my stuff. It took 2 trips with 3 SUVs from Stanwood to CR because I was staying at a family members for the night. Then I had to pay $50 in gas to fill the tank up. It was NOT WORTH IT. What happened to the people who booked their uhaul last minute? Why did I drive 1.5 hours when it was booked a month in advance? I understand not knowing where your equipment will be but you need to cap the reservations at a certain point. You only have so many trucks. I expect to be fairly compensated. This was an absolute hellish weekend and I had to rent another uhaul to be able to finish moving.Micaela S.

This rental is the worst I've ever experienced with U-Haul. I ordered a 10' Truck to pick up in West Dubuque. I was called the night before pickup that U-Haul didn't have a 10' but instead would be upsizing me to a 20' and that I would have to go to North East Dubuque to retrieve the rental. Then I'm only supplied with 1/2 the moving pads I reserved.Christopher G.

Truck NOT ready for scheduled puck uo. Had to stop and get gas before we even started our move, Return time was nased on our schedule, NOT when we got on the road. Ordered a dolly, none to be had. Took truck back 1 hour BEFORE scheduled time, office was open. NO ONE at desk to receive it. Left keys on counter. UHaul actually called the next day to see if we were returning the truck! Was in this company's lot for almost 24 hours and the 800 number had NO clue where the truck was. On a lighter note, the ordering with the 800 # was fine, just a TERRIBLE way to run a business from the original and drop off point. Plus, we paid EXTRA for this terrible service from the original puck uo because it was on the weekend. If that company wants to charge us extra, they should be on time and have truck ready.Michael G.

The truck was dirty on the outside as well as the inside. Once we started driving we saw that the check engine light was on and the truck was extremely squeaky. We called and they said the light would be fine. The back of the truck had clearly not been swept out before either. Lots of debris was left behind.Abby D.

The PERSON working at this location was friendly and helpful. U-Haul, on the other hand, was terrible! I made the reservation online and chose the mobile pickup option. HUGE MISTAKE! Issues with my ID upload, wouldn't accept my wife's phone number, and it was a completely frustrating process. So bad...I gave up. I went in and talked to the PERSON and we cancelled my online reservation and processed a new one. The process was faster than the online option. And the PERSON was the one to let me know what the online issues were, because all I had was "error..." showing and not what the actual issue was via the app. Online and App UI is AWFUL along with the process.Scott S.
Overall great experience first time using the truck share 24/7 option and outside of some sketchy Internet service which slowed the process everything else was easy to follow and straight forward. You could make sure snow is cleared off and makes sure doors open and locks unlock. It was covered in snow and the back cargo door and lock was frozen shut and wouldn't unlock or open. It took me a half hour to thaw it out to be able to open it.Ryan H.

This is a GREAT service. Using your dolly to move my vehicle from one place to another was easy. I was going to use my trailer, but a friend told me about U-Haul. The gentleman that helped me want I picked up this dolly was VERY helpful. You saved me a lot of time. Thanks U-HAULDennis S.
The back of the truck was dirty and the truck was only half full with fuel. A full truck is best when leaving on a long trip so an immediate stop at a gas station isnt necessary. It also felt like a very long check in process for having already done everything online. I was not told a time to drop off only a day and was charged an extra $54 because I was late by 2.5 hours.Melissa M.

Hire new staff. The old caucasian man literally screamed at me. I asked for him to adjust the time from 4:30 to 4:50, and that seemed to set him off. Although my husband stated that he saw the elderly employee bickering with the customer that left before me... I arrived on time, but had to wait over 20 minutes for him to finish with the previous customer. I felt as though my presence bothered him. He did not greet me. He did not appear to want to interact with me. I asked him to adjust the time because I was forced to wait. His reply was "You are not the only person in the world!". I was in shock. I stated that I had a 24-hour reservation. To which he screamed "No! You are not paying for 24 hours. You are only paying for 4 hours and WE ALLOW you to keep it for 24 hours!! YOU DO NOT PAY FOR THE FULL 24 HOURS!" At this point, he was screaming at me - in front of a newly arrived customer. His tirade continued throughout our entire interaction. I said well, I selected the 24-hour option, not the 4, 5, or other hour option, I selected the 24-hour option on the website, so yes, I am paying for the 24 hours. This seemed to set him off even more. This jerk's behavior was disgusting at best. Not only will I never use their service again, but I will steer everyone I know, away from that horrible UHaul place. I am a frequent UHaul customer. I wish I had this verbal assault on video. Actually, they do have a camera on their customers, so why don't you ask to see the video. If that were my employee, I would not tolerate that type of behavior. He would be fired immediately. I took a ridiculous number of photos of the vehicle, in case they try anything funny. I also returned the vehicle a few hours later, as I did not feel comfortable renting from them. I did not keep it anywhere near the 24 hours I needed it for. This was a nightmare. I did not feel safe to be there. Never again!!!Rosanne S.

He booked a previous U-Haul for one day of service when I asked for 4 days. Didn't tell me about returning the truck in 9 hours when I thought I had it for days. I paid full price for a truck I had for 3 hours. I literally drove it home, went to work, left work, and returned the truck. That cost me $70.brady L.

The furniture dolly needs to be maintain. The rollers to take furniture dolly up and down steps was not functioning correctly and left black marks on carpeting. Making this dolly useless. I feel like I should not be charged for a dolly that could not be used. ThankyouRonald V.
