I returned the truck two days early and was still charged for them. U-Haul stated that because it was a one-way rental that I would not get the $49.99 daily rate credited back to me, even though I did not elect to have a one-way rental. They told me the closest truck they had was 35 miles away so I agreed to pick it up there and they told me I could drop it off in Dubuque for no additional charge. No one ever told me that I would not get my money back for early return.
