This guy expected me to do his job and check in the truck and park it across the busy highway and jaywalk back because his facility had no room for the uhaul with his gasoline customer traffic. Letring these types of places facilitate uhaul is ruining uhauls reputation.Steven G.

Ordered on line night before for p/u at 6:30am and pay in store. Employee knew nothing of rentals and called Owner ......he arrived 20 mins. later and did not have order Info. So had to wait to redo order and pay, lost about 45 mins. of my time!!Sheila M.
The U haul website said it was a 24 hour drop-off site(which is why I chose this drop-off site) but when my husband arrived they were closing. They took his keys and checked it in the next day. Please correct drop off time on your website as it would not of been favorable if my husband had arrived a few minutes later with no where to drop off the truck. Thank you.HENRY E.

I reserved a vehicle on line a week in advance. About 4 days later we get a call and are told they do not do one-way rentals and to go to a different place. I go there and they do not have the truck I want and the only person that can release it won't be there for 15 minutes. He takes longer than that, then I get a 15 ft truck when I wanted a 10 ft - thus more gas.Claude B.

I got the truck with 3/4 tank of gasoline,I returned the truck with 3/4 tank of gasoline . I was told buy the attendant that the gasoline was not adequate, I took the key and filled it to capacity and two hours later I got an email stating that I am billed $5.60 per gallons for gasoline!!!!!!!! We have to return the 1st truck because it have LOTS of roaches, I did NOT want roaches in my new home. It made us late getting started because we had to drive all the way back to the pick up spot to get another truck and drive all the way back ... we were NOT DISCOUNTED IN ANY WAY AND STILL CHARGES FUEL FEES.Marvin H.
I took pictures of the truck upon receiving and I returned it as it was received and I am being charged and extra $25 cleaning fee and $3 for taxes for the cleaning. Which is not fair. I will not be renting from this location or i haul in general if this is not corrected.Sharnae S.

We scheduled pick up at 9am got there around 10 and nobody was able to help us. Waited around until the man who could help showed up. Took some time to get the paperwork and get into the truck. We bring the truck back a couple hours later. We had gone 21 miles at that point. He has us fill up the truck. 26$ for 21 miles? He said tank was full, my husband didn't check when he got in. He said we must have overfilled it. He ended up giving us 10$ back but the whole process was just terrible. We have rented from there in the past. We will not in the future.Annie L.

First i want to say if you advertise it as 19.95 a day don't tack on so many fees that it ends up being almost $60!! I originally went to the location on Brandon Blvd but they sent me to this one because they said it had one I could have for 24 hrs. Once there the guy said he had promised it to someone else but it wasn't reserved so he let me rent it. I told him I needed it till the following afternoon and he didn't tell me I couldn't. He started the rental process but would stop and wait on other people. During of these times I asked how late he was open in case I got finished early and he took it as I was bringing it back that night. I told him it was a possibility but most likely not. He called me the next day to ask when I was bringing it back. When I looked at my paperwork he had made the return time the night before because I'd asked about returning it early. I thought he was going to give me trouble when I bought it back but he didn't. However, there was a $20 maintenance fee on my receipt that I was unaware of. I wouldn't recommend this location and I certainly think that you need to have full disclosure on your truck rental prices. $19.95 is a ruse. It's one thing to pay for insurance but that additional fee is deceiving.Joye Marie W.
Cab of truck was filthy. Leftover receipt from previous renter and empty water bottles. In the bed of the truck there was many metal patches that were uneven and one that was broken which Made a big â€œdipâ€ in the flooring. We went under the truck and fixed it. The location guy knew about it before we left the rental â€œgas stationâ€ and he did nothing except told us to be careful.Heather D.

All the lights on the dash were going berserk, truck was extremely loud. Over all that truck needed to be retired!! It took over an hr to get it rented, had to wait for the person to show up that dealt with renting it. Will NEVER use that location again!!!!!!Shannon B.

I reserved my rental at a completely different location and instead when I arrive to pick up the truck it was not there. The location was moved 6.7 miles away, causing me to incur an additional 13.4 miles just to pick up the truck... That I was charged for. There are Uhaul companies all over the map and to not even call or notify in any way that the location was moved is ridiculous. I would have completely changed the size of the truck if that was the issue but not one person contacted me. For any of my future moves I will stick to a reputable moving company, I will not use a Uhaul again.Diane F.
It's not all their fault. Your system said they had a trailer available. They didn't. Your system gave me a phone number for them. I don't know who's it was, but it wasn't theirs. Your system didn't send them any type of notification to expect me so they didn't have anyone there to handle my reservation. So, after waiting a long time for anyone to even show up, they finally offered to give me a different trailer at a higher price. I was already out of time and needed to get moving right away, so I took the deal. They were kind to help me out, but I'm wholly unsatisfied with your computer systems and your administration of your network.Jason D.
I reserved the trailer days in advance, noting that the location had a wide range of open hours. On arriving at the location (a convenience store), I was told by the cashier that he didn't do the rentals, and the other guy "didn't come in today". He called the other person, and I ended up waiting for 30-45 minutes for the person to show up. So much for quick checkout / pre-registration. I encountered the same thing when I dropped off the trailer. This time, the guy couldn't be bothered to show up to do the dropoff inspection; I was told to simply drop the trailer back into the slot where I got it. So, I ended up having to back the trailer in between a 26' truck and another trailer, both of which I would have had to pay to repair, if I had bumped into them. Note that without someone there to assist, I was backing a tandem-axle trailer into a tight parking spot without a spotter; this took some time. I ended up having to leave the trailer in the "lot", which was just the grass/dirt on the side of the paved area of the gas station. This was, however better than having to park over by the dumpster, where the car dollies are kept. A garbage dumpster (with garbage strewn across the ground) is not really where you want to pick up and drop off Uhaul equipment. As far as the equipment, I ended up having to sweep out all of the sand and debris that was left by the last renters. I don't expect a trailer to be clean enough to eat off of, but 5 minutes with a whisk broom is not much to ask, especially since that's what's expected when you drop off the equipment. Additionally, I wasn't terribly thrilled when the guy wrapped the trailer wiring harness around the ball hitch coupling, nor was I happy about when he had trouble plugging the trailer into my vehicle. As the plug faces downward from my bumper, he was having difficulty getting the plug to seat. So, before I could tell him that I'd be happy to get under the car to plug it in, he reached under the bumper and wrenched the plug out of the bumper then yanked on it to get the slack he wanted. He was able to get the plugs together and then left the plug hanging by its wires from my vehicle. After dropping the trailer off, I took some time to work the plug back into location on my vehicle. I don't see any damage to my wiring harness, but he could have easily broken wires and/or connectors. This could have caused a short in my vehicle's lighting system either through his ham-fisted treatment of my wiring harness, or the inappropriate wrapping of the trailer's wiring around the the hitch mechanism. Had I not adjusted it before I left, the wiring would have been caught up under the ball, and would have certainly cut or pinched the wiring of the trailer, which can short out the lights. This would have either left my vehicle without lights or the trailer without lights. My family has rented U-Haul equipment since 1974, and I have a fairly good idea of what you should and should not do. This eEdward T.

I reserved the unit for 6 am because your website says app pickup is an option. I called the store to confirm the night before and they had no idea what I was talking about. They only do in-person pickup and they have bothered to call me and tell me. So I couldn't pickup until 7 am BUT despite telling me he'd be there at 7 the vendor didn't show up until almost 7:30, placing me about 90 minutes behind schedule.Robert D.
When I reserved the trailer online, I opted out of the insurance. When I picked it up, the location added the insurance without even asking me if I wanted it. I did not realize it until I was leaving at which time it was going to be a hassle to remove it (cancelling old contract, redoing new contract, plus backing out credit card charge and recharging it).
