I have been on hold on 800-GO-UHAUL for more than 15 minutes waiting to ask why a $122.57 hold was placed on my bank checking account on 8/28/18 for Rental 25238275 after it was already paid in full for the contract amount of $189.50 after its return on Aug. 27, 2018, at Lithia Food Mart in Brandon, FL. Your "dealer" at that location would not give me any explanation or even your 800 number when I went by to ask on Aug. 30, 2018. I cannot find any mention of the $122.57 hold amount in any other place, especially the final invoice which I paid in full. Please remove the hold immediately and let me know why it was placed and by whom. I am a long time UHaul customer and I will not be renting anything else from you until this is resolved, including a full explanation. You are holding my checking account balance hostage with this inexplicable and unjustified hold. Albert Craven

The website allowed me to purchase a 15 foot truck unfortunately there was no truck for me in that size. The gas station cashier helped me get a different size, but it ended up costing me a little bit more. When assigning the drop off location I believe the Cashier did not know what he was doing which ended up resulting in me going over miles. Cashier also failed to inform me that when dropping off at a different location theres a number I was supposed to call. Luckily the people at the Uhaul I dropped it off at were helpful in reaching out to get all of the information. The cashier I got the Uhaul from to begin with also did not come out and inspect the truck before we took off so I had to inspect it myself and take pictures of the damages that were not marked. I would never go to this gas station again or reccomend anyone else go to the gas station to pick up a Uhaul. Very unprofessional.

It advertises 19.95 to rent but I paid $91 as a base price, don't know why. I wanted truck for 1 day and brought it back after 11 hours. Noticed on receipt it was a 2 day rental. Never asked for 2 days.

The personnel was not helpful. They did not give me a receipt or check the trailer. He told me he would email me my receipt and to just go park the trailer. Sure enough I get a call from U-haul 4 days later asking why I never returned the trailer.

This was not my original drop off point and I was not there for the drop off due to the original refused to accept the truck and I had to spend an hour on the phone with customer service trying to find an after hours drop off (30 miles out of our way) from the drivers comments this location was excellent, the gentleman very helpful in completing the process. You will hear from me in another review on service from the original drop off destination, they do not represent your company well.

Bad communication between U-Haul customer service who changed my reservation and was going to give me the day for free because other U-Haul facility did not have my truck by the time I wanted. So there was no notes put in and I got charged for the extra day when it was supposed to be given to me for free because of the inconvenience. He made no attempt to help figure it out or attempt to call customer service, He just charged my card and told me to call and that they could help. I don't recommend this location.

Ordered a 20 ft truck ahead of time. Owner of store said he didn’t have a 20 ft. Only had 17 and proceeded to disputed my statement even though I have a email confirming the truck. Now I have to rent another one to complete the job.

store is co-located with convenience store. There was only one clerk on duty on a saturday morning and i had to wait while clerk used cash register to check out convenience store customers that kept coming in. Saturday morning is a peak moving time because people are off work, so the store should have more than one clerk on duty. Also, the printer for the reservation system was in the back room and the clerk had to leave the store unattended multiple times for me and another rental customer. Move the printer to the front of the store so the clerk doesn't have to leave customers waiting and unattended.

Friendly owner. Peasant to deal with and efficient. Apologized for the guy returning the truck leaving it with no gas. When I returned with more gas than when I left I received a fuel credit. That was awesome. Thanks for a positive experience.

I drove 70 miles to pick up a trailer and we got to was told it was Renton then when I called 800 U-Haul they sent me 17 miles further to pick up another one then bringing it back to give me an address to bring it someplace different than where I told him I would bring it up to days in a row I get to Bari trailers rent trailers first day was fine I picked up and dropped off at the same location even though it would cause the wrong trailer second day was disaster in customer service was no help whatsoever

For many years I have used uhaul for every project. This particular time had the worse experience ever . The people did not want to work wanted us to mount and unmount the trailer it was the worse experience anyone can have those people should not be representing uhaul. Period....

I had to return the truck i had at a gas station which was not the best location i would say to be returning a rented truck. The man who was working in the gas station was not to friendly he was more like ok give me the keys and the paper lets go look at the truck. when you would try and talk to the man he kept cutting you off from talking was doing everything really fast not lessoning to much of what i was trying to tell him because i had a issues that i needed to address he didn't read the notes on the account at first and tried to tell me he couldn't take the truck back from me then he found the notes and was like ok ok never mind i see your notes its fine now. So over all this location i really don't like to much just putting that out there.

Person running the store also controls the uhaul. The wait was crazy and I hooked up all I could then manager finally sent another employee out to help. The store is very busy!

First of all its a gas station with a fireworks stand in the parking lot. It seemed like the person inspecting the truck would not be familiar with the process since they are not actually uhaul. I could not have been more right. The guy originally put that the tank was barely above E because he didn't turn the truck on!!!! I corrected him and he very reluctantly scratched it out. Then he said because I didn't mop I was going to be hit with a cleaning fee even though there was littleraly 2 tiny pieces of paper left from the dust pan when I swept. Then the other guy tells me that I'm 3 gallons short on gas even though I only used 23 miles and I PUT gas in it before we got there. He also mentions I will pay 4.00 a gallon even though the gas at this gas station was 2.09 per gallon. I will share this experience on my social media pages and I will not use Uhaul again. Had I dealt with the same people I originally spoke to and driven back to tampa I'm sure I could've saved money on my bill. These guys were clueless and I felt awkward talking to them in their gas station while a line of people were stacked up behind me waiting to buy cigarettes/ lotto tickets. This is the first bad uhaul experience I've had and it will be the last. Not at all what I wanted to deal with after moving for 10 hours.
