Reserved the truck for 8am. Didn’t pull out until almost 9am. The person at the desk didn’t know what they were doing with the check in procedures and took forever clicking around on the computer. They tried to charge me for furniture pads that I specifically said I did not want or need. I did however pay extra for dollys, which were not in the truck. Luckily I checked before driving off. The same person who wasn’t familiar with check in procedures also didn’t know where they kept the dollys and took more time trying to call around to find out. The contract said there was 1/4 tank of gas and when I turned the truck there was less than 1/8 of a tank. This all took almost an hour to get sorted out. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I learned my lesson and will not be renting a U-Haul from a secondary place again, even if it’s closer.

This rental pick up location only for the above rating. For UHAUL in general ... I'd give it a POOR ... I ordered the truck online at one location in Apple Valley on a Monday on Saturday AM I got a text that the pick up location changed. I called UHAUL customer service and was told to upload the APP for a key dispense on my pick up day at the new location 2 miles away. I then got a phone call at 4:30 on Saturday (the day before my pick up which was Sunday) he said that nobody would be available to give me a key on Sunday. I said I was aware that I uploaded the APP and watched a Video and that I would be using the Key Dispensary. He stated that UHAUL never installed a Key Dispenser at their location. I then had to call UHAUL customer service again to get a new pick up location. I put UHAUL customer service on speaker phone then used my Husband's phone to call the Little Sisters Location so we could all talk and make sure that we had a truck reserved so that I would have ZERO issues the following morning (did I mention that I had a 5 hour drive to the UHAUL pick up location??). Everything came together and we had no further issues after Little Sisters took over. I would say that your customer service should be better versed in hours and key dispensary locations. It was pretty stressful experience leading up to picking up the truck!!

No one was knowledgeable about truck rentals, the tank was on empty, truck was very dirty inside and out. The doors were very hard to close like as if they needed to be replaced the gears were hard to shift to drive and it was hard starting up as if it needed a new battery or something. This is the worst uhaul I've ever seen and used. They were very argumentive there as well. Would never recommend this to anyone unless you are desperate and need a truck. I'd go to another location.
