After we returned the truck and we put the key in the box we went inside the store, which is a U-Haul rental and a convenience center I went inside to get a soda and right before the guy at the counter was going to ring up the soda. My son was standing right next to me and the guy introduced himself as the owner and asked me about my Toyota Tacoma that was parked in front of the store but about four spaces to the right and he said he had to investigate who owned the truck so he looked at the cameras and saw it was us like 4 AM and he said he had a delivery truck come through and they had a hard time bringing their truck through, which makes no sense because it is a huge lot and I still haven’t replied yet to him and he said next time I rent a truck from them to park my truck somewhere else in the parking lot and he told us where and pointed at it and I told him I’m parked in the handicap because I am handicap. And he was quiet for a couple seconds in front of me and my son. He said again next time you rent from us park over here don’t park there and then my son said my dad has a handicap license plate. He’s parked in the handicap and he said you guys have to park over here and I told him I have rheumatoid arthritis And I’m about to get my knees both of them replaced. It is hard for me to walk far, I am not old. I am only 53 but I am human and humans have issues and I have every right to park there. It’s the only handicap he has in the parking lot Which is during the day. He has a lunch truck serving food there also which is fine but to tell someone that’s handicap that he or somebody cannot park there it’s actually illegal he said he was close to doing something about it, but if he would have my family said I could have sued him which sounds stupid. I am not that type of person, but if I would have gotten there and not had my vehicle for parking in a handicap spot with a handicap plate, I just think it was very upsetting. He did not even care that someone is handicap he didn’t seem to anyway and after he was done talking and I bought the soda he said thank you for visiting my store and renting from U-Haul it is not U-Haul‘s fault I get it, but it is not OK for him to treat anyone that way and no way would I ever rent from that location again? I don’t rent trucks too much but I do when it is needed and have many times. I’m sure you guys hear nothing but complaining all the time. I am sorry you guys have to sit there and read this stuff all the time but anyway I did not have a good experience but it was just because of the owner of the convenience center and that particular U-Haul I do hope you guys have a serious talk with this person because it is not OK to treat his or your customers that way, and if some reason you want to talk to me about this ordeal, my number is 919-539-6846. SAYED SThe Mini Mart personel was helpful, kind and respectful, but had absolutely no info regarding UHaul. The process was a little confusing to get the code to open the box where the keys were, but I figured it out in the end.. Also, I was told the truck would be in front, which it was not. I really had to hunt for the truck. Otherwise, the truck was clean and I had no issues. I think it would be helpful to customers if the trucks were always left with a full tank of gas. I ended up leaving more in the tank than was there to start with.

BARRY RThis location has uhaul trucks parked in a wild disarray where it is nearly impossible to get a truck out without having another truck in the way. We were at this location for 1 hour, whereas in previous truck pick ups for a move it has taken maybe 10 minutes tops. We ended up having to ask the desk for 2 separate sets of keys to move trucks out of our way to avoid hitting them. We also waited on the phone with uhaul for a long time, over 10 minutes. I will strongly consider renting with another moving truck company next time given this experience. it added a significant amount of stress to our already stressful moving day.
Katie HOnly issue is Gas Being Empty and no near by gas stations in 2 miles. So you are not sure whether it will come for 2 miles or not and have to take a chance on Empty Gas and expect customers to be lucky to drive to near by gas station. While I understand one of the reason being it’s easy to steal gas but uhal needs to fine a better solution for this rather than leaving it as empty and expect customers while returning leave it empty which is ridiculous or leave gas for other customers to use for free on my money.

IULIIA BBesides the rude store owner/worker, our appointment was approved for 9am yet the Uhaul representative wasn't available until 12pm to help us with the trailer (we were not notified ahead of time). In addition to that, our truck was BLOCKED in with other Uhaul trucks. We had to ask the store worker to move the Uhaul so we could get our assigned one. He handed us the keys to move it ourselves without asking for any identification. Worst experience with Uhaul by far. Would never recommend this location.

HISHAM AThe Uhaul charge is not clear. I rented for 2 days. Picked the truck up at approx. 10am on Thurdady and returned noon on Saturday. I was charged for 3 full days, even though my window of return was an extra 2 hours. That I could except. However, I purchase the Safe move Insurance on the rental which is a money maker for Uhaul and some peace of mind for the renter. I was quoted at $30 for the Safemove. I was Charged $45. So once again I got charged a full days rate for 2 hours of use, which in this case really sucks. Then we come to the issue of the Furniture Pads. They are quoted at $10 per dozen, I took 1/2 dozen. I was under the impression this would be a charge that covered the entire rental period. But of course, Uhaul charged me for 3 full days -$15 for the use of the pads. I feel like I was over charged.
MICHAEL PThe only thing nice I have to say is that the clerk was very patient. But she knows the game of cheating people out of their money too so that takes that away. I feel like I was completely over charged. I booked for one thing and got something else. The truck was dirty and had info from the last customer still inside. So that lets me know no one ever cleaned it out. Highly disappointed.
TONEKA RI usually choose to return my rentals to Little Sue Mini Mart. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful. Plus, they have a Mexican food truck in the parking lot with tasty choices.

LORI HThe pickup location was fine, however the online pricing for U-Haul was very suspect. I specifically booked with U-Haul because they gave me a complete price of a 1-day van rental with 180 miles included. When I arrived at the site, the actual price was almost 50% higher than quoted. I get the feeling U-Haul can get away with the bait-and-switch pricing since they know it is difficult to find a different truck the day-of. Even if it is 5 years from now, I won't be using U-Haul next time I need a truck.
ISHAM CThe automated pick up was a mess. It took us 45 minutes. Nowhere did I see it say you had to have a local license and that was problematic.
