Excellent rental service. Recommended
He helped me with a truck at the last minute. I had to go to Virginia and he was able to find me a truck. He is a great guy and very helpful.
You need to let people now at the front end of the rental that they must fill the gas tank before returning. The fact that you don't tell people that and then will charge a $30 refueling fee + $5 per gallon of fuel is absurd. And I had to do research to find that information. It would have cost me over $50 in fees and gasoline If I had not left the drop off point and refueled the tank. You should refuel the tank. That is hospitality. After a long day of driving and moving furniture, this was absolutely infuriating to discover. Awful business ethos and leaves me not wanting to rent from your company again. It is not right and you should improve.
The online login is absolute trash. Please update your system. It eventually failed and we had to go inside to get our key after 30 minutes. The man said we had to wait for the online thing to work and he couldnt give us the key. Also I had signed up for a location off of Tryon road and somehow it was changed to buck jones? I wasn't aware of this till I tried the Tryon location. Anyway it was a huge hassle and I won't be recommending uhaul ever.
The UHaul app kept not working and we had to call when we picked up and dropped off. The location services weren't working for two out of three phones we tried, and once the site crashed while we were filling out the required information. Also, I wish I could have done more of the pick-up information, such as adding additional contacts and adding my photo and scanning my driver license, before coming to pick it up. I would have saved tons of time and frustration.
Awesome experience! They went above and beyond to make my rental experience amazing.
Great service and very friendly staff
Mud in the back of the van. Vehicle was parked in muddy grass after a rainstorm. Couldn't move the vehicle without getting a push from several people. Location took over 24 hours to process turning in my keys at the counter.
I reserved with budget two weeks in advanced and they called me 15 min before I was scheduled to pick it up. I called the gentlemen at this uhaul ten minutes after and he said come down and grab the truck. Stand up Guy!
Wear a mask until the coronavirus outbreak subsides.
Knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff. Professional service. I feel valued at a consumer. Very good job!
This is my second time renting a uhaul from the Buck Jones location. I've never had an issue, Very friendly great customer service I will continue to rent front this location and I will continue to recommend my friends!
The manager of this pick up location was skilled, professional, efficient and diligent.
I payed for a truck with a hand truck and furniture Dolley. There wasn't any included. Truck was clean and great but it made my move more difficult to not have those pieces of equipment. My move was on a short time frame and I didn't have time to hunt them down or stay on the phone waiting to fix it.
Make sure all equipment is kept clean and well maintained for the next customer that desires to rent.
I didn't receive a utility dolly. A refund will be sufficient to make this right.
Fast friendly service. In a good location
Owner was great and quick I would come back to this place
Nice guy the u worked with he was very helpful and polite . Also the same with the guy that I returned it to
My trip was from N.C. to CA. - 1 short female driver w/ 2 cats. 1. There was a sticky substance on the floor of the truck cab that had to be cleaned by me. 2. The chains from the tow dolly to hold the car onto the tow dolly, were improperly placed, which required me to pull over many times to put them back on. Went to another Uhaul location on my trip to get the chains re-attached properly. Thinking the chains were now on correctly, I was still having to pull over and attach them again and again, due to sparks flying out of the back of my car. Because the chains were not attached correctly, I lost the “S†hook on the road and could not travel until fixed. Had to call Uhaul to have a subcontractor come to put another “S†hook on the chain. This time the chains were placed correctly, but too much time wasted dealing with this. In all of this, I could have lost my car, possibly killing me &/or a person/people! 3. I noticed that in order to stay between the centerline and the edge of pavement line on the highway, I was having to continually rock the steering wheel back and forth to stay in between the lines while driving straight and while taking a curve. My hands became so swollen by clutching the steering wheel so tight and my arms were so tired, I figured that there was something wrong in the steering column. In the middle of my trip, I called Uhaul to have the truck checked out concerning the loose steering. They looked it over and said nothing was wrong with it. I noticed that the truckers were not rocking their steering wheel! Uhaul - please consider tightening up the steering-it's too loose! 4. The side mirrors on the truck would not adjust correctly to allow me to see the back of the truck and tow dolly (on passenger side) unless I leaned far over the middle seat, which took my eyes off the road for far too long. The drivers side mirrors allowed me to see all of the truck, but could not see a vehicle right next to me, unless I bent my head way down. I had a very hard time trying to move over for emergency vehicles and passing. Uhaul - please realize that it's not just long-legged men driving your trucks! You must change the way chains are attached and mirrors must accommodate women! I move alot! I have used Uhaul all my life. I like the old way chains attached, the mirrors moved with more choices.
Poor service from gentleman, who would not leave his perch to do walk around. Then noted that mileage was at half tank, to only include it at 5/8 of tank. He would not walk to verify mileage or even show me which truck it was. A disservice to customers.
i will rent agin from this location
Very nice and service is good. I am highly recommend uhaul
