We had never rented a U-Haul truck or trailer from this location, but are now very glad we did. Their transaction process was quick and easy and their customer service was an A+. I will certainly recommend this location and staff to the people I know looking for a U-Haul vehicle.Mike M.
Owner did thorough walkthrough of damages to truck, instructed to timestamp document all photographs, orange box for keys, gas tank and mileage. There was a car to a food truck blocking the uhaul, owner talked to the food truck and got the car moved out of the way.Justin M.

The U-Haul employee left at least 30 minutes early. I chose this drop-off because of the hours/location. Fortunately the store employee and two men he asked to help were willing and able to move and unhitch the trailer. Without their help, I would have very delayed, inconvenienced, and mad.Judi N.

I originally was renting a truck from Cary Moving on 500 E Chatham Street, Cary, NC but the truck would not start. It was stressful and frustrating. The truck should have definitely checked before we got to it.Sabrina I.

Uhaul employee was very polite. Upon return the Uhaul employee was out to lunch and the clerk that was there was very rude. I was paying for the miles driven and he didn't want to confirm the ending odometer reading and told me to just leave the key and that a receipt would be emailed to me. I'd basically just need to trust that they would charge me for the correct mileage driven. Said the Uhaul employee would be back in 30 min. I ended up doing the online checkout and when I went back to leave the key with the clerk he refused to take it. Told me that there was a box outside. Very rude.Marie K.
The equipment was generally clean and well maintained, but a bit more preventative maintenance would have been appreciated as the truck's battery died on us twice after 2, 20 mile trips (we took 3 trips total for the day). If the battery level and other functions of the truck were checked more regularly, this likely could have been prevented. This created a headache and delayed our schedule several hours, though it thankfully occurred at the end of the day instead of the beginning. The location handled it well, but it could likely have been avoided altogether if preventative maintenance had been done.Kevin Q.

Don't rent trucks very much. All I can say is the employees were excellent! They were friendly and explained everything to us from the type of truck we were renting to the cost of renting the truck! Will definitely recommend them!PAUL H.

Nothing. I would like to add that my move fell apart. I already had a U-haul, but a family member left with it, and left me on the sidewalk with my furniture on the sidewalk. When I arrrived almost as soon as I made my reservation, I was told I could take the dolly to the van. I said I just had abdominal surgery. A young man said he would take the dolly and put in the van. You could tell that this was a friendly buissness.Darcy C.

do not assume that the pick up site will be open at your reserved pickup time. I assumed that my truck would be ready at my 10:30 a.m. reservation pickup time, however, the location did not open until noon. :(Robert D.
The problem I have is NOT with the location. This isn't a fair survey by any means. What I mean by that is I would rate ZEROS all the way down if it were a Uhaul direct survey, and NOT the location. Uhaul had my reservation, let me check in online. Then 10 minutes later called me to tell me they didn't have a truck at that location for me, that I would have to go 20 minutes out of the way to pick a truck up, and still pay for the mileage. Also, it wasn't for the time I reserved. THEN, I went to the location for the original reservation, and GUESS WHAT?! They had a truck, and it was indeed for the full time of my reservation. So all the pointless stress that Uhaul caused me, having to change the arrival time for the movers TWICE, was ridiculous. In the end, I still was NOT able to get the move done in one trip due to the having to reschedule the time for the movers to come. So all of that and I STILL have more stuff to go back and get myself. What a HUGE inconvenience, headache, and unnecessary panic attack!MICHELLE V.
