Tad B.Check the condition of the (trailer) before having me drive 14 miles one way to pick it up. As a result of the damage to the trailer i had reserved, i had to decide whether to rent a truck instead, due to availability, distance and wasted time looking for another trailer at short notice. This decision cost considerably more, but the equipment (truck) was in excellent condition and the personnel were very kind snd helpful. No discount was offered for my inconvenience or additional costs i had to incur.

Scott K.I was disappointed, when I rented a PU Truck for 19.95 a day. When I returned to pay the bill was over double what it cost to rent for day. I only drove 10 miles n u charged me min 2 gallons of gas. The bump up in $ price for gas, not only did u over charge per gsllon, but 2 gallons to fill up? Crazy. Company I rented from said that's the way the computer is set. So U haul is not playing fair n trying to rip customers off. So because of that will not be renting from U haul anymore.

david P.They did not explain all charges. I rented for 2 hrs and it cost me $100.00. He told me I needed gas tank to be filled to 3/4 of a tank but the gage indicated 3/4+. I drove 81 miles…supposedly, so I put 5 gals in and it filled the tank. No credit for putting more than needed. After all of that didn't know a parking garage height was lower than 9 ft. My bad..z again he didn't mention the height.

Michael J.The idea of renting your truck from your phone and that it quick and easy is a joke! Fist it tells me that I should fill out the form “now†and then at the end of the form it says to fill it out when you come and pick up the truck. I had to change my rental time because of all the hoops I had to jump through. And when I returned the truck the gentleman I spoke with told me that the process has to be streamlined because EVERYONE complains about it. So I will never rent another truck using the phone app again I will take the time and do it in person. Other than that it was 👍.
Clark P.First of all, U-Haul made me drive 40 miles from my house to pick up the trailer. Secondly, I was scheduled to drive 360 miles to Phoenix. Both tires were questionable but one definitely should have been replaced. The attitude of the location personnel was basically, ---"nothing we can do and we aren't U-Haul corp. If it goes flat just call the number on the trailer." What an worthless reply. Image a flat tire in the middle of the dessert 150 miles from help.

Joe M.I reserved a specific type of trailer on June 17th for pickup on June 30th in Whittier, CA because travel plans and timing were not flexible! On June 29th, I received a call from Uhaul indicating that the closest trailer of the type I needed was over 100 miles away and would I be OK with driving to pick it up??? Uhaul relocating the trailer was not an option, I was informed! What was the point of reserving the trailer if that is the best Uhaul could do? This will certainly figure in to considerations of renting a Uhaul trailer in the future😜👎! Other than that, the trailer, once another was located only 30 miles away, performed well🤔!

luis A.No papers pertaining to my rental, “ our printer is out of paper but you'll get an emailâ€. The fuel level was incorrect. I drove 11 miles and put $20 in and still received an email for an additional $46 for 6 gallons of fuel? 9 gallons to go 11 miles. Incorrect initial or there is a leak in your fuel tank.

Alan V.This location is a very busy area for being small and it was physically difficult to navigate the van and the location. I received a call the day before my scheduled move that the 15' van I had reserved was no longer available at that location, and I would have to go to San Diego for the van if I wanted it. This was a very far drive for me and not possible given the move and working, so when I called to ask about a different van they charged me more money for a 10' van than the 15' van. I paid this fee because I was desperate to not have another logistic to worry about, but I feel that it was overpriced because they knew I was desperate. They also doubled the insurance charge that i was paying for coverage. I wasn't able to fit all of my belongings in the 10' van because of Uhaul's last-minute change and now I will have to rent another van and do a second drive. This is totally unfair!

TIMOTHY M.Dirty van, previous unphotographed damage, the attendant shooked me down for an extra $28 for gas when returned with the exact same as I left with, wouldn't remove the unneeded Dolly which restricted my loading up another needed pallet. Overall, very unhappy with this experience and as a local contractor I'll spread the word.
