When a customer puts a location for pickup and a time that they need the truck, it would be nice to be able to receive the truck at that time and place. Not drive further away, or worse have to wait a few hours to pickup the truck delaying us in starting to load when we, the customer has limited time to work and load the truck.Crystal L.

Back of the truck was still be had to be swept out. Car dolly ratchet straps to hold car in place while pulling it down the road did not work properly we couldn't even use it. And then to top it off the person at the U-Haul where we picked this truck and car dolly up ad did not even know how to use the car dolly and would not even help. Clean the inside of the truck and the cargo area. The inside was muddy and the cargo area smelled like a farm vomited. The equipment appeared to be in good repair however there was no cruise control.JOsh H.

I was and am very frustrated with UHaul for their policies on renting one way UHaul trailers. I ordered on line a week in advance and I don't know for sure that I will even get the trailer and that I could have to drive an hour away to pick up the trailer. Lock it Up made special accommodations for me due to his hours, was very nice and if I could just rent from him, I would. I have to rent this trailer four or five more times over the next two months so will try UHaul again but am looking for another dealer who will guarantee rentals for one way travel, at least with more than 24 hours notice of needing it. I had requested that the trailer be available for pickup at a location in my town. I gave more than 48 hours for this to be accomplished and I still had to travel 22 miles (44 round trip) out of my way to pick up the trailer. The representative did not properly advise us on how to attached the trailer including the electric. This could have caused some problems while making the 2.5 hour commute for my move. Further, once I got the electric properly hooked up and the trailer properly attached to hitch, I discovered the left tail light was not working. Then we went to load the trailer and the dimensions on the door of this older trailer were different than what was stated on the website. This was a real problem as I had measured everything to be sure that we got the correct trailer. As a result, my large furniture items were not able to be loaded and moved. I only had a few large pieces and this is why we opted to rent a trailer. Needless to say, it was a fruitless effort. I now have to determine IF I will rent another trailer (with a larger door frame) in order to move my furniture. This has become very costly and time consuming. Needless to say, I am not satisfied with my experience.KRISTEN S.
