There was no one in office- although hours were posted to be open. I used app to check in and out. App was slow at times, but was able to complete the process. Overall, not. bad.

I was deferred to this location by Uhaul (originally had Prosper location reserved). I had to wait 45 minutes for person to return from lunch to get my truck, and there were no moving blankets there. Person was very nice, and indicated that I just needed a code to get the truck key which was not provided to me by Uhaul in advance.

1)Don’t change pickup location the day before, 2)Don’t tell customer that pickup location has the necessary trailer ball for purchase onsite when the pickup location doesn’t even have a storefront, 3)Get employees that don’t show up to work 20 minutes late!

Possibly make it mandatory that customers bring the truck back with a full tank. If not up charge them and have a facility cordenator fill the tank.

We dropped off the truck after hours but had some phone contact with Lockaway staff who pleasantly referred me to UHaul customer service who on both contacts with them answered my questions. FYI: U Haul app for return of Truck, after hours, is not user friendly, especially when attempting to submit the pictures requested!!

First, I made my reservation for a 15 ft truck and an appliance dolly a month in advance to pick up at a particular location in Prosper, TX. After UHaul moved my pick up location to a vendor down the road, I was told that there were no dollies within a 10 mile radius. The reservation was made a month in advance, how does UHaul not have the equipment necessary to fulfill the reservation? So I had to run to Home Depot to rent a dolly at twice the rate that I had budgeted for at the time of my UHaul reservation. Then, when I picked up the truck, it had 1/16th tank of gas. I immediately had to exit off the highway and gas up. That's unacceptable to give a customer a truck on empty. Lastly, during the drive to my destination (about 200 miles), the air conditioning would stop blowing when the gas pedal was depressed to a certain depth, mainly at highway speeds. I drove most of the 200 miles without air conditioning in 100+ degree Texas heat. When I returned the truck at the drop off location, the first thing the attendant said to me was "did you have A/C?" So if this is a known problem, what is UHaul going to do about it? I've rented trucks from UHaul for years, but this has by far been the worst experience I've ever had.

Had to clean the windows (dirt and lots of bugs) before I could drive. Took an hour to pick up because of a "known bug" in the app. Had to buy gas immediately as the truck was just over 1/4 tank. Sounds like an exaust leak, gas dripping out of tailpipe, and had to stear about 30 degrees right on the wheel to go straight. Sounds like a bad experience?

This would have been rated an excellent if it were not for the issue with the GPS pin. Apple maggots took us to the apartments just south of the location and Google maps pin was in the middle of their storage locker area instead of their locker. This made it very difficult to use the mobile check out. If it were not for the wonderful office] people this would likely have been a very low rating.

The truck leaked in multiple places ruining boxes and furniture. The appliance dolly was bent in multiple places and missing the belt on the bottom portion. Definitely not a good experience on a day where it rains for 10 hours straight.
