I drove to the original drop off location only to be told they could not accept the uhaul, so I had to take it to another location and then was charged for mileage. It would have been nice to know that the original location could not accept the return.ROBERT MICHAEL Y.

Everything was ok with the exception of being told and written on the document that there was a full tank of gas when there was actually under 3/4 of a tank of gas. The gentleman who worked there took a pic of the dash to show the actual amount of gas in the vehicle before we left. We put enough gas in so it was at the 3/4 tank level when we returned it. We were not upset by this. So, the only improvement would be for them to make sure they are documenting the correct fuel level for the vehicles. Location pick up anytime was difficult as the key was in the office, not the combination box. When we went to the office no one answered the door or the phone. It took 15 min calling multiple times to get them to answer. Also the dolly was not in the truck and we had to come back for it.Garrett H.
Van ran well but "Change Engine Oil Soon" was on the whole time. I told the attendant when first got in the van but he said it was just a warning. 3rd time I've rented from this location. They charged me for returning the truck claiming it had no gas in it. When in fact I returned it with more than I got it with. Not only will I be disputing that with my credit card company. I will be suing for falsifying documents, libel, and wasting my time.Justin S.

truck was on empty when I picked it up low fuel light went on after 7 miles of driving, had to get gas twice, all they cared about when I picked it up was making sure I replaced the fuel that wasn't there.. worker brought the truck around, handed over keys and when I got home he had left the rea door open.Kevin A.

I called U-Haul corporate because I turned my truck in in Bend, Oregon on the July the 31st, 2021 and it wasn't even due until August 4th 2021. When I booked the truck on line I was not informed of the fact that I was playing a flat rate. I did go into the U-Haul in Kalamazoo michigan, to add one extra day to the U-Haul thinking I would need longer time to drive across the country and the attendant there mentioned... oh yeah that should be fine we'll only add an extra $40 on for the extra day. I was on hold with corporate for 35 minutes and then spoke to a customer service agent yesterday on August the 2nd, 2021, and informed him that I was unaware of the fact that I was playing a flat rate and was very interested in receiving a refund on the extra days not needed since I returned the vehicle 3 days early. He said he would open up a customer objection claim for me and when he put me on hold to begin that claim he hung up on me. 44 minutes of waiting and finally speaking to someone and my problem is not resolved. He mentioned to me that each U-Haul is independently owned and can determine whether or not they feel that a refund would be issued or offered, I'm deeply disappointed in the fact that I was not informed that this was a flat rate. The man who was managing this location today interrupted my pickup process multiple times (I did a mobile contactless pickup). He asked me multiple questions regarding my reservation and tried to get me to come into the office to pick up the keys, which were in the lockbox in which the app said they were in. Then when dropping off the truck, I completed the process on my phone and the same man told me he needed to check me in. When I said I did everything on the app, he told me he needed to double check that I did it right and that I hadn't lied on the form. Overall, a Very unpleasant and very creepy process to pick up and drop off, which also made me feel slightly unsafe and like I was trying to cheat the system. I will not be returning to U-Haul unless I have to, in which I will be using another location.Dean M.

I would appreciate an itemized bill instead of receiving a charge on my credit card before pickup higher than the estimated charges, and then to have a charge on my credit card without a final receipt accounting for the charges which was higher than quoted for per mile over my allotment. Took nearly 20 minutes for her using a combination of computer, phone and scratch paper to eventually look up and say â€œall setâ€ despite the fact I had everything completed online.
