I was concerned about running out of gas on my way to get some because it had been rented out with such little gas left. Also, the inside smelled a a little bad, and both the inside and outside were both much dirtier than I was expecting. Finally, there was a low-pressure warning light on because two of the tires' pressures were low.Emily B.

I had made an online reservation for pickup at a different dealer. However, when I arrived at my initial pickup location the dealer there was very rude and attempted to charge me twice what I was quoted online. I was able to find what I needed at Low Country Sod Pros and the dealer there was very professional and courteous. Unfortunately, my reservation did not transfer from one dealer to another and I had to cancel my online reservation in order to rent the trailer from Low Country Sod Pros. Perhaps a feature that allows dealers to transfer reservations from one location to another is something that can be added? This would save both the customer and the dealer time in these types of situations.CHRISTOPHER S.

Comments/What we can do to improve for the next customer? Have the business opened and ready for business at the stated time. My appointment was at 900 am and attendant arrived at 910 to open business. I called the day before to ensure someone would at the store at nine. The trailer was very clean on the inside. The trailer has dirty on the outside, it had splatter from the previous towing vehicle on the front of trailer. One of four tire was low, 32 psi. I checked tire pressure before loading. The others had 52 and 53 psi. U haul should check tires. Improve site conditions. My truck was spinning tires to backup to the trailer because it was sloppy with mud and not level where trailer was parked. I thought it was a hazardous situation to spin tires while backing into trailer with Uhaul attendant standing in front of trailer. Trailer towed very well and functioned well.Robert B.

Their hours are open @ 9:00am and no one was there. i was there @ 10:30am. I don't appreciate paying for customer service and i have to do all of the work!!!!! Unacceptable way to conduct business!!! I've been renting UHaul products since i was 16 and i am 59! Good luck!David D.

This has to be the absolute worst U-Haul. I've probably averaged 2-4 U-Haul rentals a year since 2012. After this, I'll never use them again and I will share my story with anyone who will hear it. The lady charged my almost a $100 to use the heavy duty utility dolly for just a few hours. I didn't make it back before they closed at 4pm and she stayed closed the next five days. Then, the vmail was full so you couldn't even leave a message for them. She charged me for everyday I couldn't return it. Despite the fact they would not have b en able to rent it. Then, when she finally called me back on the 6th day she lied about not knowing how much it'd cost. Soon as we hung up the phone I got a notification front my bank. She had made the charge while we were talking on the phone. You should be expecting a call from the BBB in the near future. Brandon JonesBrandon J.
Lets see, i went to the first location where i was told to go...no Uhaul and told i was at the wrong site. Went to the 2nd site and the company decided to close down and cancel all orders. Luckily Uhaul found a third site and was able to pick up a trailer. The delay sucked and didn't get my son moved into college until late that evening.Terry Keith W.

The lock box for the keys was very hard to open. I had the code correct but had to play around with the alignment of the letters for several minutes in order to open the lock.steven S.
They open late and it gave us a problem with the movers. Everything was messed up since our original movers in Myrtle Beach could not be bother Never use them again. Recommend Makin Moves the are incredibly good.Douglas G.

If a customer requests a specific location for pick-up, and that location doesn't have the requested vehicle, you should let them know when the appointment is scheduled. Not after waiting around 2 hours to pick-up a vehicle that is actually 45 minutes away at an entirely different location. There should be some sort of heads-up, in an e-mail, a phone call, etc., that lets the customer know they were going to be getting the runaround that day. As for the location I finally picked up my rental... top notch customer service. Uhaul is lucky to have vendors such as them around.Tony B.
