I drove across 2 provinces one way and yet my security deposit was supposedly mailed to my former address. I was told a new cheque was issued and it has now been 4 weeks without my deposit. Uhaul is a rip off if you don't have a credit card.Tanya W.

Truck was exceptionally clean. The overall process of picking up and dropping off the truck was simple and easy to follow. You guys did great at your location- Uhaul head office however is awful. I bought the roadside assistance (added when i picked up the equipment in person) and insurance, my vehicle had a catastrophic failure- i contacted uhaul to come and pickup their equipment and it took them over an hour at the side of the road at -30 to tell me they couldn't cover us-what was the roadside assistance and insurance for? Again your location did great, just venting because there is no space to review head office experience, thanks.Shawn N.

The customer service us extremely poor. No one appreciates your arrival. Not welcoming and very slow. I was charged 20 dollars more for after hours return. I paid for one day but I used the truck from noon to 1700. It was not my first time using uhaul, but I won't do business with the same location anymore. The truck was dirty, and I called uhaul company to raise concern and I was promised 25 dollars back which I haven't receivedBenjamin S.

Android app did not work at all to check out the truck, so I used the mobile website instead. Driver verification should really be available before you get to the pickup location to avoid waiting 10 minutes to get your identity verified once you get there. When checking back in on the mobile website I was getting almost all the way through the process, then I would upload a picture and get an "out of memory" error. I would then try to reload the page, which re-submits the form, but then I would get an error that "location services need to be enabled", but they already were, so then I had to start the process over again. I got stuck 3/4 of the way through the process 4 times, and on the 5th time it worked.Samuel K.

The 24/7 U-Haul app is not good. The place I rented from was just barely still open so I had to run in and go through the pickup process in store. The app would not advance past taking a picture of myself. I could not take a photo of my license to verify my identity and I could not submit photos from my vehicle inspection either. It just could not get past the first step. The rental was great, the business was quick to get things going for me but the app was a waste of time. I'm just lucky I wasn't picking up after business hours or I would have been left high and dry by the app.Ethan K.

Everything was great with pickup from the lock box. Truck ran well. The significant issue was that the dolly I had requested was not in the truck and, because the shop was closed when I picked it up, it couldn't be addressed. As a result, the loading of the truck had to happen without the dolly....making appliance moving almost impossible. I had to purchase a dolly for the unpacking. So, ultimately, the cost of the missing dolly was significant physically and financially. So, that was disappointing, but the rest of the service was good.Paul D.

I rented this uhaul with the promise that the vehicle would be cleaned and sanitized before use. Upon entry to the vehicle, it was apparent that this did not happen. The vehicle was dirty, there was dried up spills of some sort on the front of the cup holders. As well as food crumbs in the cup holders, the general surfaces of the vehicle felt grimy and in clean, and the floors were filthy as well. I did not want to touch anything in this vehicle. Given that we are in the midst of a pandemic, I was appalled by the state. It was clearly not cleaned or sanitized. Severely disappointed.Katheryn M.
Craig (manager) was a little rude. There were chairs in a shop. While waiting for my turn in the shop, i shit down in the chair and this guy asked me not to shit in the chair bcz of social distancing. I don't mind but he should remove these chairs from here or put a yellow tape around. Even his co-worker asked him that he was told yesterday to tape off or remove these chairs. I am not goign to his place ever again to rent a truck.Rajpriyasinh C.
The online system was horrible. It didn't allow us to book the equipment we needed for multiple days and only had the option for 24 hours which was not possible with the time between moving from one place at noon on the 30th and not having possession until noon on the 1st. When we called the U-Haul help line, they told us to change the time at the time of pickup at the location. However when we did so we were told there was another booking. The staff at Mo Tires was amazing, the problem was uhaul. We will not be booking with uhaul again as this is the fourth time the online system has made an incredibly costly mistake.
