I made a reservation and it moved from 15 min from me to and hour and half to pick up the uhaul! Then when I got there I had to wait 45 min to get the last uhaul! Was a very uncomfortable experience!

Ladies working there are great. They took my complaints and tried to help as much as they could. I reported that steering wheel shakes at over 55 mph. I did not know that until I got on the highway (the pick up location was only a few miles from my house) worst uhaul vehicle I have been in.

Aside from the pick up location being 52 miles away from the spot I originally reserved the truck for (12 days prior), the cab of the truck leaks whenever there is rain. It poured down rain during my 4 hour drive. “Leaks” is a polite way to put it, I was left completely soaked inside the truck, dripping water by the end of my trip. Even changed shirts mid-drive just to get my second shirt just as soaking wet as the first.

It was very hard to lift the trailer. Would be nice to have assistance or some type of Jack so the trailer isn’t just sitting on the ground.

The experience at this location was very pleasant and without issue. Carmen (the young lady that assisted us), was very knowledgeable and helpful and we would recommend this location to anyone in the area.

You charged me almost $600 more than I was quoted and tried to charge me twice. I had to threaten to call the police to get my card back. You promised to have the owner of this location call me to discuss a discount for having to do my own safety inspection and hookup and wire the trailer myself. Rude and tried to rip me off. Telling me the first transaction didn't go through AFTER you gave me my receipt showing the payment cleared.

They couldn't find the keys for the truck, had to wait about 40 minutes to get the truck when I received it for 5pm did get it till 6:20pm and had to still return it by 5pm. Waste of time reserving on line. On top of that the rental for the truck is advertised as $39.99 plus 0.99 cents a mile I needed it for 40 miles should have been $ $80 plus tax ended up paying $154....False advertisement will not rent a Uhal ever in my life and will not recommend them to any of my friends, family or followers on Facebook,Instagram, snapshot or Tiktok.will like a refund. And yes please post I will be looking for this review.

Truck was dirty inside front and back. Gas claimed to be full but was 3/4 (lucky I took photos). Ordered 15" truck, not available at my 10 AM appointment. Young lady inside was very helpful in getting me a larger truck. Still waiting for my return call from U-Haul Corporate. They called back in 1 hour as the robot said and said I was "#1 in que", then next available rep picked up conecction and then disconnected the line.

Took an hour and a half to get our truck and car tow dolly. We had originally requested an appliance dolly but they did not have one so we didn’t get one. Truck smelled like smoke and back of it was disgusting and had to be cleaned out before we could even load the items

This was the 2nd Uhaul truck we rented this week. Rented from same pickup location in Alaucha and 1st drop off location was in the same town in Zolfo Spings only 5 miles from us. Today as we were attempting to drop off the truck to this same location in Zolfo, we get a call from Macks Discount Foods Uhaul in Ft Meade that the truck was late and the location was 27 miles from us in Polk, another county completely, I tried to explain this to them and they were rude, had an attitude telling me the truck was already rented out and now that person was ticked. I called Laura at Uhaul 813 247-5016 and she told me the drop off site should have been close to the same place where we moved to and she would send a message to the Macks Uhaul not to charge us because drop off information was wrong. I drove 27 miles, and was charged 40.00 for extra day, and 14.00 extra on fuel and the truck had more fuel in it than when we picked it up, totalling amount of $70.80 being charged to my credit card. I will not be using Uhaul again. This is not good business practice.

Train your employees how to communicate and be informative with customers. Took over an hour to rent another Uhaul after they rented my Reserved15' Uhaul..attendant did not know the procedures of able to answers 'Uhaul Renter's' questions.. Very disappointed! They charged me for a dolly that they ended up not having . Then told me I would be refunded for the dolly when I turn the truck in. So when I turned my truck in they almost made me pay for a brand new dolly!!!!! Also I was sent to a drop-off location that closed 2 hrs before my 24 hrs was up thus costing me an extra $56 for uhauls incompetence !!! The truck leaked and got my stuff wet . And I gave a cash deposit which I was told I'd get back upon return of the truck . Well I didn't I had to get a prepaid card and wait 2 days for my deposit that was left after I was robbed of $56 from it for uhauls incompetence . I will never use uhaul again after this experience. I see customers are not as important as making money any way you can

We rented a dolly for am hour and was charged for 4 days. Went back to rent again paid cash and was charged again on our card. You are messing with our bank account which affects the bills we need to pay. We are very upset.

I have rented with U-Haul many times before and this is by far the worst location I have rented from. When I arrived to pick up my rental, I was told to wait in the corner of the gas station until he could assist me. It should be noted, I was standing alone inside the corner of a gas station. I waited for approximately 20 minutes until the attendant came back over. He then quickly clicked through my online reservation on his computer behind the cash register. After he clicked through the reservation, he said he couldn't give me a receipt because his printer didn't work. He told me just to take pictures of whatever I wanted on the vehicle. I thought the way he presented the location, his facility, himself, and U-Haul was very unprofessional and I refuse to use U-Haul in the future because of my terrible experience.

The oil was low and we purchased and used an entire quart of oil, but it could have used more. The people we rented from were really nice but. It well trained on the uhaul computer system. It took a long time to check out and check in the truck we rented. I opted to use the online site to do it myself. So I basically did their job for them. If I had to do all the work and out oil in the truck I could at least have gotten a discount or waived mileage or something.

this truck had no interior lights and the cargo lights also did not work so I had to stop loading at dark therefore it took me twice as long to load.

My reservation was moved to another city. An email was sent, but if I'm not expecting an email. I would not be aware of it. That happened and was a bad problem. I took a smaller truck and settled for something that was not planned for and created a 45 additional effort to sort out all the problems and cancellation of the other city reservation.

Originally my reservation was confirmed for a 15 ft U-Haul. On Monday I confirmed again with Aisha my reservation. On Tuesday I was sent notification to reconfirm. When I spoke with Aisha again she verified that there were 2 15 foot trucks at the location. When I arrived they only had (2) 26 foot trucks. I was charged $147.00 and they stated that I could not modify the contract to what it was originally. Aisha stated she put comments in the system so that when I dropped it off in Clermont Florida they could make necessary adjustments.

It took an hour to do the paperwork for me to get the truck on Tuesday night. It's another 30 minutes to return it Wednesday night. Of the 12 moving blankets I rented, only four were usable because the other eight were soaking wet and smelled awful. The store manager could not have been nicer… He was very eager to help me in anyway he could. But the location of the gas station was at the outskirts of town, and I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there overnight. So, I had to arrange for someone to drive 30 minutes and come and pick me up that Wednesday evening when I returned to the gas station. The truck itself was very clean, and it drove well... But the engine light came on about an hour into the trip and stayed on the rest of the time which made for a very nerve-racking return drive! While I am grateful to have had the truck, and grateful to the store manager for getting me the equipment I needed that was not with the truck as it should have been… I doubt I will rent from U-Haul again. It was a frustrating experience.
