A trailer was blocking our truck in. I couldn't move it on my own. The location had no person to help as it was not open. There was no WiFi available to us and we had extreme difficulty loading the app or web page to log on.Gillian B.

Mobile check in is horrible. There are 15 other steps needed to complete the pickup that could be done before. Instead you have to be physically at the location to do it all. Half the time it didn't work. Even though I paid in full months in advance, they changed me another $88 once there. I was told somehow my rate was changed . I paid for two sets of moving blankets. They gave me none. They said I cancelled it. I asked why I would cancel it less than 12 his before I wanted the truck. The tire was shredded in half. Literally shredded in half. I didn't notice to after I was trying to fill it with air. Why was this not checked upon return before? I drive for over 5 hours on a tire that was non existent. UHAUL BLOWS! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They will try to get things over on you, then act like they dont know what's happening.Jamie I.

Terrible experience. The cab smelled like smoke and it was dirty and grimy. There was standing water in the doors and the passages seat belt did not work. The truck ran rough and did not feel safe. I'm honestly shocked U-Haul would let a truck like this on the road. I'll be looking at a Penske truck rental next time.Kaleb B.

My review is not for this particular location. My review is for U-haul in general and the experience that I had this time around. I set a pickup for a particular sized truck a week in advance. I was quickly contacted saying that the size truck I needed would not be available at the desired location and that I had to drive to a different location for the desired size truck. Okay, not THAT big of a deal but it was a little annoying since I would have to put more miles on the truck then but whatever. Moving day comes and I arrive at the location that I was told to go to. The lady behind the desk was nice but unfortunately there was no pickup appointment for a truck for me at that location since I had booked online rather than calling the store. She told me that another customer had dropped off a truck the night before but forgot to leave the keys so that one was unavailable. The lady was very helpful trying to find another truck for us nearby when suddenly the lady who forgot to leave the keys walks in to drop them off. I asked if I could drop the truck off at the location that I had originally planned and I was informed that I could not. Again, very frustrating since that would be coming out of MY pocket for driving the truck further back to the location that they needed me to. 40 minutes later we were on our way to move. I wasn't on that tight of a timeline for the day but overall the experience was very upsetting due to the wasted time and money driving further than what was necessary.jeff W.
Store/office upkeep is lacking, cluttered and seemed disorganized. However the person at the counter was sharp and organized in the process at hand and was a clear communicator, so the appearance of the office didn't really matter.Gwen C.

The roof leaked and almost all my boxes got wet in the truck. I had to literally take most everything out of every box as the boxes fell apart. All my cloths have to be rewashed and suits taken to the cleaners. My printer got soaked along with all my other computer equipment.BRIAN P.

You need to give me a corrected invoice. I was charged for 6 gallons of gas when I brought the truck back with the same amount of gas as when I picked up the truck. I will dispute the credit card charge. I called the location and left a detailed message but no response. Very unhappy.Joseph L.

Where to start. Booked the truck a week in advance for 5 days online. Got a confirmation at that time. Then I got a call the morning before (Brandon) saying my preferred location didn't have a truck so pick up was switched to a different location. Fine, no problem. Then got another call the afternoon (Evelyn) before pick up saying that my reservation was dropped because the new company policy is that you can only rent for 24hrs. What?!? A rental agreement is a contract, and your employee was trying to get me to allow your company to breach that contract. Finally, after threatening to contact a lawyer and the Bbb, her "TCM", who wouldn't get on the phone, approved a 4- day rental. Ridiculous! I will never recommend uhaul. So I had to essentially fight to get the truck, and then be scheduled for a 3rd pick up location because they gave my truck away! Arrived Saturday morning to pick up and sign on window said "closed for personal reasons". Online pick up was a pain. Terrible experience. I'll use Budget next time. Made a reservation on 9.4 for 7am on 9.10 upon arriving promptly at 7am could not gain access to the vehicle. At 8am a sales representative from Wanda's rentals in addison returned my to inform me that my reservation was sent to this location. After arriving at this location now running well over and hour and a half behind schedule I received a 26 foot truck and had an oil pressure sensor issue causing the indicator light on the dash and the gauge to plummet from low to high pressure. I did not enjoy my experience at all.John S.

The 10 foot truck I was given had transmission/stabilization issues all the way down to Nashville. The truck issues added 4 hours to our trip. We are still waiting for a partial refund for our troubles.Steven C.

Everything about our moving process went amazingly well because we had scheduled the truck for 6 hours and we ended up going a bit over that so I tried to extend and at first I was told it wouldve been an additional charge at almost double the original price if I wanted it longer but the online agent I believe her name was Kimberly was able to assist us with the matter. I got charged 10 dollars for an ipass toll citation for renting a UHAUL. Whoever had the UHAUL before me had forgot their ipass in there making us assume that the ipass was included with the rental. They had never communicated the UHAUL's ipass policy and never even asked us if we were going to be going through tolls. You should really make sure your car rentals are clean and have no ipass transponders in there which can mislead people. & when I called to complain, the woman who works there said to contact UHAUL by phone & I spoke to the manager who said that she can't wave the 4 dollar administration fee & they forced me to pay that citation. I will NEVER recommend anyone to use your services. UHAUL will steal your money if you don't read all the fine print charges in their stupid contracts.Brandon A.
