Where the vehicles are and where the office is are two different locations on different sides of the street. Also NO KEY DROP BOX. AND poor website â€¦ the cost per mile was NOT INDICATED when I made the reservations. NEVER AGAIN.madelyn L.

Parking area for vehicles is fairly small and it's a little challenging to maneuver in and out of the lot in anything bigger than a van. The vehicle we rented was extensively covered in graffiti, although this was no fault at all of the business owner but an unfortunate reflection of the neighborhood situation. Anything Uhaul can do to help secure more protected parking for the business would likely be appreciated by both customers and the business owner.Stephen P.

Everyone I spoke with / worked with / helped me at this location was FANTASTIC. they were quick and friendly and polite and helped guide me out of the parking lot and I really can't say enough good things about the experience I had with the people there. Unfortunately, this is not a uhaul branded location, and they are at the mercy of uhaul for maintenance on the trucks they have. The trucks were not well maintained. Uhaul could make this place better by offering better maintenance to their non branded locations. My truck needed an oil change, had a few loose dials, and a big chip in the windshield. It would be better if the truck were in better shape.Justin W.

I wish I would have been told I would have needed additional verification. I was at the site wasting half an hour of my four hours of truck rental because it needed my passport or lease agreement, who carries that with them? I also think the gas gage was off because I had to put at least 5 gallons of gas in my truck when I drove it a total of 15 miles and it was still saying the gas wasn't as full as when I got it.Adrianna S.

The four trucks are parked in a tight alley that is hard to navigate. All the trucks had some spray paint on them. There was an old picture frame on the dash board, so clearly the truck hadn't been cleaned or looked at between customers. The truck itself ran fine. I also thought I was doing a completely online rental, but that wasn't available at this location, which I didn't know about until it was pickup time. The process at the desk turned out to be really quick. Also, I did not know that I would be charged $1.19 per mile, so my estimated costs for the rental were almost double from what I was originally quoted. The worker at the pickup location was helpful and friendly. However, all of the vans and trucks were covered in graffiti and there was trash stuffed up the tailpipe. This site needs better security, given the neighborhood it is in. Also, if nearby all-day parking for my personal car was available that is something that I would have paid extra for; all the street parking within like 1/2 a mile was 2-hour limited.Nick W.

I did not receive a contract at time of rental. When I started the truck the tank was at 7/8th full. After use I refilled the truck to 7/8th, but after the fact I was charged additional money because it was not completely full on return. If I had received the contract stating it had to be full I would have filled it completely. The truck location is difficult to get in & out of, and the alley where you part was frequented by homeless people. Won't go here again.Tanya G.
The provider did not tell me that I had to fill out a form online when I dropped the vehicle off after hours. I locked the car with the keys inside as instructed and then saw I was supposed to take pictures/be with the truck for the inspection. I didn't open the Uhaul link texted to me until after I had finished moving and locked the truck and felt it was completely unprofessional that there was no mention of this additional step. I could pay $20 and have the Uhaul provider do this check out process for me the next morning which felt like such a scam considering they didn't tell me to fill out the form upon returning the vehicle. I was really frustrated. Not only that but the facility that I rented the vehicle from had 2 dogs in the back and there were dog pee pads with poop on them sitting on the floor for the whole store to see. So gross.Caitlin M.

The Rental experience was fine and the customer service at the location was fine. However the return experience and response by the customer service call center was incredibly frustrating. We couldn't return the vehicle due to there being no space available, as other returned vehicles were parked improperly. We called U-haul corporate customer service and they were not helpful when we were trying to find a way to drop it off that night. The only suggestion they had was to drop it off the next day which wasn't an option for our move. We ended up leaving it parked on a legal spot on the street that was metered, against their recommendations. There needs to be better planning for situations where the rental site does not have parking available, because this does not make me want to use u-haul again.Christopher M.

There is no free parking in this area, so if you are driving to pick up a U-Haul, expect to pay for parking while you use the vehicle. It is difficult to find as the U-Haul shows up as a very small sign in the window of another business. While there was a sign in the truck we rented that requires you to clean out the truck before returning in order to avoid a fee, the truck we rented had quite a bit of bird seed in it that had not been swept. We brought it back cleaner than we found it. Furthermore, we returned it with more gas than it had when we rented it. It would be nice if everyone could rent it with a full tank of gas and return it with a full tank of gas rather than requiring the user to take a photo of the fuel level before and after using the vehicle. Finally, I will say that the website we used to secure the rental was not at all user friendly. Every step of the reservation process offered lots of additional equipment rentals, many of which were already selected with various quantities, so we had to be careful not to click "next" too quickly as we would automatically be signed up for additional rentals that were not necessarily relevant to our situation. It would be nice if all extra rental options were posted on one single page with no quantities filled in so that one would not accidentally end up with anything extra by mistake.Glenn J.

I had an outstanding balance from my last rental 7 months ago. My card should have ran when I got the rental back then, but it didn't. I never got any notice, any calls, any statements that I had a balance. Then today when I went to get my reserved rental, my account was locked because of this unknown charge. This put my move schedule off by hours because I was only Uhaul customer service for an extended amount of time, then when I entered my card over the phone, my address was entered incorrectly so my credit card got locked and I had to call my credit card company! Then uhaul again! From this experience alone I might never use uhaul again.Rachel T.

Inc was great, friendly and understanding, since I needed the truck on Christmas day. The truck I rented had several problems (see below) yet the lady at the counter was amazing; she helped me with my reservation at a light speed, provided all the necessary information. She was very understanding and solution oriented. Problems with the truck: - engine start key wasn't functioning properly; I had to try 10-15 times to make the truck starting - cargo door stuck in the middle of opening or closing - it was probably the noisiest truck I ever rented (and believe me I rented a lot); it was as if it would disassemble in the middle of the road If it wasn't for the counter lady, I would rate way lower but she saved my day ThanksBURAK T.
