Location was fine. Truck was old and the air conditioning did not work We didn’t want to rent here. Our reservation made 10 weeks in advance at a convenient location to our home was not honored. Made to drive 20 miles round trip to a different location. Ridiculous. Then an old truck with no AC

It clearly is showing its age and either needs to be serviced up correctly or is due for retirement.

John PThere was a hole in the roof of the rental truck which we did not discover until the next day when we went to unload it and everything was soaked due to a torrential downpour. Many family heirloom items are ruined and they offer me a 29% refund, which is $40. I’m heartbroken and now I’m really, really mad!!

THOMAS GPlease have an employee double-check that nothing is left in the cabin. I thought I grabbed everything, but I left by $300 AirPod Pros in there. The next day, when I called they said the truck was already gone and there was nothing they could do. I called U-Haul and they told me the truck is now in Indiana and there's nothing they can do. I know my headphones are in there cause I can track them through Apple's software. I'll never recommend or use U-Haul again. Shit happens. People leave things. That doesn't mean they shouldn't get returned. I'm out an additional $300 because of you.

DAVE UNot sure it was the location or the website. But someone charged me 15 safemove fee. I spent 2 or 3 days making sure choosing no on everything even though the website kept putting a dolly or mats to make more money off of me.

RoninWolf DSmelled a little musty and the back was dirty and had debris. I also requested not have the "Safe Move" on my invoice and was told "it was too late" even though I hadn't signed yet. I also discussed that the fuel level was improper as it said there was over 3/4 on the paprwork and the showing was just UNDER 3/4. The folks here were very kind and did assist me even though they technically were part of the repair facility. Very good place to be partnered with.

Arnoldas VThe truck leaked all over irreplaceable photos and momentos!! The windshield wiper literally flew off the truck in the middle of a downpour making the last 40 miles of our trip miserable! When we called U-Haul they told us to report it all to the dropoff location for compensation. The dropoff location told us there was nothing they could do about it and to contact U-Haul again. Was a huge runaround and no one would help us. I will NEVER use U-Haul again.

Russell RMake sure truck has a full tank of gas when you pick it up. Only had 1/2 a tank. Was told I would be charged $5.00 a gallon if I returned it with less the 1/2 tank. Gas prices was only $3.69 a gallon Other wise has no problems. Thanks U,-Haul

ALICE WU-Haul changed drop off locations on me which I didn’t realize bc I was driving and moving so returning truck was an absolute nightmare. Also, I didn’t know mileage was limited so incurred a large extra fee bc we had to pick up furniture from my daughter’s college apartment 90 miles south before heading north. Whole experience this time was very frustrating.
WENDY FThe kiosk system was difficult to use to pick up the truck before hours. Two other customers were having similar issues and had to wait an hour for the location to open. The fuel tank was half empty. In addition, the truck broke down about 470 miles from home and my wife and I spent about 8 hours switching trucks and transferring a full load into another vehicle.

DENNIS MTried to do pick-up through the app. It did not work, went inside and they were incredibly friendly and helpful inside. They even came in early because they knew automated pick-ups have been having issues. 10/10 experience with the individual at this location. 0/10 automated pick-ups through the app.
Jeremy SThe only complaint I have has nothing to do with this location but has to do with the way U-Haul sizes out the trucks. it seems like the cargo space in smaller than what the truck is listed as.
Walter N* On-line ordering for accessories was taken, then never part of my order...... I had to go to Walmart for boxes, tape, etc. Didn't know the location wasn't full service until I got there. ........ * Booked a Downers Grove pick-up a few minutes away. Then advised I needed to go somewhere else for the truck, 40 minutes away (why did I have a Downers Grove reservation??) ....Sent to another Downers Grove location (this one) which was less convenient....... * Booked labor on -line but it got me nowhere........ Even the leads were pointless. Had to do that separately myself with companies outside the "network". ... Your entire ordering system stinks !!!!! ........... Let me clarify - My actual pick-up location was OK........ It was the order process and the 1st Downers Grove location booking / information that were sub-standard.

Adam MWhile the floor of the trailer was clean, it appears that someone was hauling Mulch in it and did not clean the walls. Caused a problem when I was trying to move furniture in it.
Robert KThere was only an eighth of a tank of gas when I took the truck and the person at the desk told me if I filled it back up to a quarter before I returned it I would get a percent of a discount. When she was checking me out upon return, she said the discount wasn’t coming up but that she give me $10 off and I don’t see that on my final bill.
