Picking up outside of their business hours was terrible. Took over 45 min to get checked in online/get the key. Then when I dropped it off someone was in their office (Sun evening) looking at porn on their computer right next to where the key drop box was. My drop off location was correct on my paperwork but not online. I had to sit on hold for 20+ minutes with 2 screaming babies and ended up giving up and contacting someone online which also took a long time. They were able to change the location but the whole thing took over an hour to complete the drop off. Luckily I arrived a little less than 2 hours before the scheduled time.Zachary O.

The one thing you could do is have Jack's to get the trailer off hitches. We had a hell of a time on Friday removing the trailer from the hitch on my niece's truck.MELISSA D.

I don't think it was their fault. But I first got a contract for one car dolly, and went out back to get it. Turned out that piece of equipment was not on their lot. Another piece by equipment was in good shape, looked newer, but he had no info on it. The remaining dolly was dirty, fender was cracked, but it was ok for what I needed. My experience was sufficient. But not excellent, it seemed to be more of a corporate inventory problem. I still go to U-Haul in the future. I used you over 40 years now.JAMES M.

The only issue that I had was picking up near closing time on a Friday. The sales associate was rushed to walk me through the agreements as well as I would have liked as he was dealing with multiple customers.Scott J.
When someone rents a truck or trailer it should be rented on that date if available it should not require you calling us. If it wasn't available at the time it was being reserved then it shouldn't be contingent on your phone call. Don't like how that works I thought I got the size trailer in the location I rented it from them not only did you not have that trailer anywhere close but you didn't have the size I thought I rented I could have contacted penske for a dental if I'd known I didn't have it from the very get go.!!!Dora G.

First: the wrong trailer number was on my ticket, the guy said take it anyway and he'll fix it. He didn't fix it...I dropped off the Trailer in Blaine, mn 2 days later and then kept getting phone calls wondering when they'll get their trailer back.Sky H.

Though the attendant was helpful (hooked up trailer and checked lights for me), there was a lack of energy and trailers/vehicles available. What we did NOT like is no fault of the location, but rather UHaul's policy of changing our reservation. We'd reserved a 5x8 trailer in advance, only to be notified that we'd have to travel 50 miles to get one of those for the dates we'd chosenJane J.

The way i read my contract i had the truck till the 3rd of sept.now i didn't get it back tell 7:00 on the 3rd ran into problems with move i put in gas at end.now you want to tag me for another $100 fuck you!Ronald M.

We had a very difficult time finding this location (it's located in the back of a car dealership). We tried but were unsuccessful in finding the other location in Albert Lea, MNKay S.

Frustrating to find that the trailer assigned to us had defective hitch. While we were glad that there happened to be one more (intact) available, what if that had not been true? Also, why does the appliance dolly price ($7.00 online, $7.00 on the dolly itself) ring up as $10 on the invoice? There is no excuse for pricing inconsistencies like that. Read the fine print carefully before signing. ALSO: the regional call center had found me a newly-turned-in trailer in my own city at the last moment, saving me an hour of driving. When I showed up to collect it, it was being hooked up to someone else's truck. Nothing else was available. On stressful moving days, this is the last thing a customer needs. I am not satisfied with U-Haul's performance.Kathyrn D.

When I returned the trailer the person at the desk would not.give me a receipt to show that i brought the uhaul in. I had to ask him to at least sign on my order to show that i had dropped it off. Then about a week later i was charged on my CREDIT CARD for taking the trailer to South Dakota. How could you just use my credit card and keep billing me with the trailer when someone else used the trailer. This is how credit card fraud begins. Bert salisburyHobert S.
Lazy Customer Serrvice - Uncaring like he was being bother to help me. Did NOT walk to the trailers with me to check connections were correct and tail lights worked.. 1st trailer Assigned had damaged electrical pin and couldn't be used, 2nd trailer has 1 flat tire, 3rd trailer had 1 low tread tire on one tire. 4th Trailer on was finally acceptable mechanically and physically but dirty inside and needed to be swept out before loading. I've spent over $2400.00 renting UHaul equipment in the past 9 months and I can guarantee that I will never use this locaton ever again and will consider future rents from Penskey down the street.John P.

I understand the quarantine and all but these guys didn't even bother to get up. Just asked if I was picking up or dropping off. When I said dropping off, he told me to park it in back somewhere and he'd check it in on his phone. WoW not very helpful at all. There were like 7-8 people in there including kids. Not at all professional. But the â€œshowroomâ€ was very nice.melanie W.
