SHANE EThe pickup location was fine, but UHaul changed it from my original, much closer location reserved. Customer service was excellent; staff was very helpful. Moving the truck out of the parked space was challenging for a first time 10ft truck renter. Truck storage area was clean. Cab area needed some cleaning. Transmission when backing up was noisy, in my opinion.

FRED WThe storage unit was clean I had trouble getting the latch to close to lock it but that's just me. I would recommend putting a small piece of rope on handle so the door can be pulled down a little more easily. It's great that locks are provided so I didn't have to go buy one.
denise l | Overall ExperienceThe facility where the reservation was made denied us a vehicle on the day of. We had to go to another location. After getting a positive check in at the drop off location with no idication of an issue we were charged extra fees and charges after the fact totaling almost 50% of the original quote with zero explanation. Continued attempts to speak to someone about the charges go unanswered.
CHRISTIAN BMissing utility dolly that I was still charged for through Uhaul but Malone's is very easy to navigate for pick up and drop off of rental.

Kathy AI struggled with the mobile checkout process, but I accept blame for it. I didn't open the email you sent regarding the pickup process until after I had returned the truck. All the information I needed was there, but I did not read it soon enough.
Michael CUsing the U-Haul app for after hours return was a pain in the ass. Cell service is poor in the area making the online return process painfully slow. I was on the verge of crashing the rental unit into a brick wall to end my misery but alas the app finally completed the return process.
Robert BGreat service! The owner was friendly and helped me with the return of the U-Haul rental. Clearly marked address and U-Haul advertising on the property so I know I was in the right place.

Eric WStop the corporate guy in Arizona from texting customers at a BAD time. I got a text about an hour after I picked up the truck telling me people at my destination needed it and asking what time I would be there to turn it in 150 miles away. That was NOT COOL. they had 3 trucks JUST like mine sitting there when I got there. I felt like they did not trust me because the person sending that text lied to me.

It was the absolute worst vehicle we ever rented, it had 9000 miles on it but was like a junk vehicle, burn hole in the seat and it also had 3 air fresheners that didnt even have a scent so I assumed it had been there a while. Will never remt from them again

TOM B | Overall ExperienceThis was not the pick-up location we made a reservation at. We had to drive over 40 minutes out of our way after already having a 4.5 hour drive from out of state. U-Haul makes no attempt to honor reservations as booked. This was our experience last time we booked U-Haul as well. If car rental companies can ensure the equipment is in the right location, U-Haul can figure it out but the customer service has been horrible every time we call to seek resolution or assistance.

Returned my rental less than 24 hours later, arrived at drop location, some woman who was walking in said oh let me get someone, yelled in the garage and out came a gentleman who did not check in the trailer, told me oh just leave it there and they will take care of it and I will get an email receipt. We'll 2 weeks later I get my receipt, funny how no process was followed, no procedure, all cause he was to busy to run and play with his girlfriend in the back of the shop, this is so unacceptable and unprofessional. If something were to have happened to the rental because he didn't check it I would have been responsible not him, this redneck nonsense needs to stop.

Jason RAlong with other issues my main complaint is I filled the truck's gas tank to full after 36 miles of use. The bill came to $97.00. I know I signed an agreement to fill the tank to the level I started with. extenuating circumstances made me make this mistake. U-haul still benefits some $50 from my mistake. I just feel a good business practice would be to help the customer even though the error was my fault. Be good and rectify the problem.

Jimmy FIt was ok experience I’ve rented from this location before without an issue… the uhaul truck I got was a little dirty on the inside and I also have to wait till 8:45am for the uhaul cause the employee had to check in the uhauls from the weekend which is understandable however my reservation stated 8:00 AM you would think the location would close them out earlier or should not allow to set up a pick up time for earlier then 8:30 am

Chris M | Overall ExperienceThe computer system was not able to complete the reservation that I had entered 2 days before. So my reservation had to be entered as a walk-in. Because it was re-entered, I lost the $50 discount that was granted to return the rental to a nearby location. My impression is that this was not the fault of the rental location, but a problem corporate u-haul software. Both of my recent rentals had computer issues. Apparently these problems are frequent because the support person new the name of the person at the rental location based on the phone number.

DONNA KCalled to request an extension on my time for a few hours and wasn’t aware that I would be charged an extra full day out of it. Also wasn’t told up front how much you charge to fill the gas tank otherwise I would’ve stopped earlier in my day to fill. Due to COVID gas stations near me were closed by the time I was ready to return the truck.
Michael BThere were issues with the on-line order system at pickup. I ordered online, through my U-haul account, and completed the early check-in / registration, so as to save time. The dealer couldn't pull up my order, and had to start a new order all over. This has happened at multiple U-hail location I have used.
