I rented a truck around 4 years ago and my experience was very 👌..I rented a truck April 30 25 I have to say I felt like walking right back out the door.The two ladies that were working were unpleasant I'm sorry but she was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable like I wasn't good enough to rent a truck or I was to old .As I was moving I fell and was hurt to where I had to go to the hospital. I contacted her as soon as I was aķble ..Let's say the lady wasn't happy with me or the situation I will not repeat ĺ what was said or the Good accusations that were said .But I have never been treated so horrible in all my 66 years on this planet 😢 I have been trying to reach her since ĺ I returned the truck because for some crazy reason this lady has charged me $846.oo for a 3 day use of a truck I'm sure she has made a great mistake . I do understand we all make mistakes it happens to the best of Us . Its sad that all of this happened but for me after every thing is fixed I will not return . .....

Absolutely best experience I’ve had renting a U-Haul. With that being said, the trailer wasn’t big enough and I had to go to Alex’s Gas Bar in Meaford and rent a truck as well to move my boyfriend home in one trip; the truck we received was disgusting - it was so dirty, smelled like cigarettes and weed….I would never use the U-Hail location in Meaford again! Thank you again Maple City Mini Storage - by far the best experience I’ve had yet !

Cindy was amazing at this location. I was a little late travelling from out of town to pick up my U-Haul and she stayed late (past closing) to allow me to pick up my vehicle. This was much appreciated. Very friendly and the truck was perfect for my needs.

Very cramped & limited office space & equipment however all the staff I spoke to & dealt with were extremely friendly & helpful. I would recommend to others to deal here in the future if something is needed.

Excellent service overall! The staff was very helpful in connecting and disconnecting the trailer. I only had a minor issue with the wiring adapter that fell during the use and I had to replace Uhaul with a new one. Besides that everything went great.

The location was excellent. However , the uhaul is a scam. Please hire a moving company. Even thst has scams but research a well established one. Uhaul will tell you last minute thst truck of the requested size is unavailable. Ypu will havd to travel far for obtaining another truck. There is no respect or value to a customer.

I disagree with the fuel charge. I brought the truck back with the same fuel as I received it with, but was charged $20 for fuel. Not very friendly.

Did not explain the return process to us correctly. We were unable to take photos of the truck needed for the return because we took a picture of the mileage as we were told to and put the keys in the drop box. As I began the return on my phone I realized we could have taken these phones to ensure we didn’t get charged for anything else which was very frustrating.

Fewer documents. Omit US-based material for Canada-based rentals. Don't require an app to review documents by text. I declined the app. Privacy guarantees are inadequate.

The people at maple city were very nice. Took a little long to get my u-haul but that was the least of my worries as I had a reservation I made pushed back 2 days and had to spend extra on gas because the only u-haul available was 1 hour away, without even offering compensation on gas. So even though I would recommend Maple City for u-haul, I will likely not be recommending U-haul overall.

Please try to update your vehicles. It is very old. Everything is in miles- extremely inconvenient as I could not see the speed I was driving. I had to use an app. It doesn’t have hazards lights, at least I couldn’t find the bottom for it.

This particular location was not a problem. The reserving of a trailer at a Windsor location and 2 or 3 weeks later receiving a phone call that they don't have any of those trailers in Windsor, had to drive 45 minutes to Chatham to get it and drop it off was a piss off. Trying to never use Uhaul again. J
