Auto transport was a total disaster. Two bad tires, one with a broken belt the other flat with a nail and the jack was frozen. Excellent fast service changed both tires within an hour and was super helpful. If he had a new jack he would have installed it. Had to travel 40 plus mikes to pick it up when told one was available local but was rented out from under me. Truck was excellent thank goodness. Both dealers were excellent

The location was spacious and so I had all the room I needed to get the trailer situated. I didn't know if I should leave the trailer down below where the main office was or if I should leave it up with the other trailers and U-Haul equipment above near the highway. I left it up by the highway and left my rental documents underneath the door of the main office

PAUL NI needed a truck to tow my 24' Bayliner from Port Ewen, NY to Groton, CT. After loading the truck with my furniture, etc, the boat trailer was only about 8" from the ground. The truck was NOT overloaded, the hitch was too low, thus dangerous to tow over 150 miles. My wife drove my car back to Connecticut, the truck was loaded and I was unable to bring my boat to our new home which is the reason I rented the truck in the first place!!!

al oThe operator was friendly, very helpful, and gave me some really good advice. He made the experience a lot less stressful than I was expecting. The truck was new, clean, and ran exceptionally well. That made the 450-mile trip much easier for me. However, I was not happy with the online rental interface and experience. U-Haul needs to make it much easier to see what vehicles are available, estimate what milage is included in one-way rentals (without committing) and *most importantly* make it *easy* to choose the best return site for the customer. Despite my repeated requests to schedule the return site that would allow me to walk to the rental car location I needed to get to, U-Haul scheduled a return location that was miles away on a different highway. Then, U-Haul wanted to charge me a fee to switch to the return location that I had requested from the beginning. Poor corporate customer service!

Dal LAll the outlets to charge GPS did not work I had to purchasePortable chargers in order to sit there and use the GPS all the way to our destination the windshield wiper blades were halfway off the left front brake was heating up and it was almost impossible to keep the truck on the road because it was pulling so bad

Ray VThis man was incredibly rude. First, he had dangerous dogs that barked at us when we arrived and showed up over an hour late, delaying our multi-state move. He then called our car foreign, which was both weird and a dog whistle about our politics. Absolutely unacceptable. You should remove his contract. I am telling everyone I know how horrible this experience was. Moreover, your customer service reps did not offer me any assistance, a refund for missing the promised pickup (like I received from another location), or an apology for his behavior after I was on hold for forty minutes trying to figure out what the hell to do. In contrast, the staff at the in-person locations have all been friendly and the regional manager who arrived at the last minute was perfectly helpful and kind. Protect your business by permanently removing Marc's contract.
Elizabeth WMarc was rude and became angry because he said u-haul did not call him. After he was told I drive an hour to get the trailer he said not my problem call u-haul. Another associate called me from Margarettville and he was very helpful.
