Mario (or lead person) was good to work with and very friendly. We had some issues using the U-Haul app to “return our truck”, but that did not have anything to do with Mario. We eventually contacted U-Haul customer service to ensure that our records showed we had properly returned our truck on time.
ROERT KWe were supposed to pick up our truck from a different location, but when we arrived, the truck wasn't there. No one had told the woman working at the desk either, and it took half an hour to find us another truck that we could use and the person doing the coordinating was not very nice to us or the woman trying to help us in person. We then had to drive 20 minutes in the wrong direction to pick up our truck from Mario's.

Jordan BMario was incredibly accommodating. I called him on a Friday to make sure the order was ready to go for the next day, and he went above and beyond to make the process as smooth as possible. A great business owner and community member - highly recommend doing any UHaul pickups/dropoffs here.
Aidan LI drove the truck only 5 miles. So I put $5 in gas in. Mario mark it as I used a 1/4 tank and charged $27 for 5 gallons of gas. Beware he is trying to manipulate the fuel. To make more money.

LisaMarie ERented a 6 X 12 Uhaul trailer from Mario's Auto repair. He took the time to explain the hook up procedure and even put a jack outside to assist me with unhooking the trailer when it was returned after hours. Very accommodating and friendly person. U definitely would rent from him again

keven SMy reservation was for 7:45. Mario called my at 6:50 asked if I still wanted the trailer. I said yes why he said “ “you need to come pick it up now because I’m trying to leave early” kept calling me to pick up the trailer
Kimberly BI arrived at 9am to begin check in for our vehicle. When I got to the code number for the key box, the code posted did not open the box. I called 24/7 help line who gave me 5 more codes to try which did not work. They put me on hold and then the call dropped. I had to call back and begin the process all over again. In the meantime, my son kept working on the key box until he was able to open the box with the code 637, nowhere near what was posted. When I told the owner, he apologized but gave no reason for the mix-up. The truck ended up costing me nearly $100 including fuel for the 5 hours that I rented it for, an hour of that being just to try to get the key out of the box. It certainly would be appreciated to have at least 50% of the invoice compensated for the inconvenience. As a church school, the price break would be appreciated. Jeff KWhat you can do is stop stealing money from your customers. Customer shouldn't have to pay $1.49 per mile and then pay for gas on top of it. Also, to advertise that you can rent a truck for $30 dollars is a joke. $30 truck turns into a $180 without even adding on anything.

Erroll HAbsolutely zero communication. Mario does not answer his phone. We were running late and the girl on the phone changed our reservation time . Couldn’t do self- service pick up on the app because of this most likely. Went to a nearby uhaul and they gave us a 5 digit pin for a 4 digit lock! Called the girl again and she said use the site for she has no idea about how to get the key to the uhaul. Called her AGAIN and she finally gave us a pin and was helpful. Absolutely will not recommend and maybe not use UHaul again. We were 2 hours behind schedule and ruined our day! Someone needs to be there when Mario is not and be available when situations like this happen!

Ron HThe equipment was not clean, photos taken at rental time. There was a large pile of wet blankets left in the back that I had to continuously work around. I could not use the mobile check in process as I have been able to at other locations. It was a disappointing experience.
MAUREEN BDefinitely would not recommend this place to absolutely no one!!! Was super rude. Truck was dirty! Ran horrible. Kept telling us our phones did not work and it was his computer. And then raised his voice saying gas level was wrong and it was actually past the amount! The worst experience and we were directed to this place cause as I was heading to pick my truck up they told me they Dont have one, had to drive an hour further and back!!!! What 😦 a disaster!!!!

Jeff WPlease let customers know that when picking up there keys that you need a second number and you will be calling it so the customer has time to call that person and tell them to answer there phone. Not everyone answers a 800 numberat 7:30am in the morning when there sleeping. Thank you

Maria AMake sure if the mode of rental for a particular location is only available via truck share. When I arrived at my location, the owner was not there and it was very confusing trying to figure out exactly how I was supposed to complete my rental. However, when I did have to call the customer service line, the service was absolutely AMAZING. I spoke to John, who was super helpful and patient throughout the process, and made sure everything was completely clarified with me before proceeding which I really appreciated.

I wasted a whole hour trying to connect to the app. Because I wasn’t aware that I had to go inside when the business was open.

jim bMy reservation was to be at Amity Self Storage for a 10’ truck for $19.95 and $.79/ per mile for pick up on 8/5. About an hour after I made the reservation I was contacted by uhaul and told that the equipment was not available at my chosen location, which is less than 1.5 miles from my residence. I was told my reservation could be met on 8/4 rather than 8/5, and I could pick up at the uhaul store at Mario’s garage which is about 10 miles from my home. I agreed, as I was moving and needed the truck. When I got to the pick up location I walked into a small office where 2 children in filthy clothing were standing on furniture and watching cartoons at a volume too loud for a business setting. The children tried to tell me, in broken English, that there was no adult there. However, a woman popped up from behind the counter and acted quite surprised when I told her I had a 3PM reservation for the one uhaul truck on their lot. Her young daughter grabbed the woman’s cell phone and called someone about the reservation. They argued when the daughter resisted handing her the phone and once the child handed the phone to the adult, a brief conversation in Spanish occurred, then the woman handed me her phone. The person on the other end of the phone call was also very surprised to learn I had a reservation for 3pm. He said he could be there by 330-345. I said I’d be back at 4. I returned a little before 4 pm and rented the truck with no issue. Today I received my final bill and noted I was charged $.99 per mile. No one notified me that I was getting a higher per mile rate. Not the woman from uhaul that I spoke with when changing my reservation, nor the operator at the garage where I got the truck. The location I was switched to was 10 miles from my house. That’s $20 plus tax in miles I wouldn’t have had if the equipment had been available at the location I requested. The renting experience was a trial and the final cost was a surprise.
Allisan RVery friendly even though the u-haul software was being updated as I was reserving my unit. He was calm and very apologetic for any delays in software updating.
