Jacqueline DThis has to do with the reservation system NOT the pick up location people. They were fine. Rental went well. Not pleased with your reservation system. Reserved trailer in Oshkosh , WI but found an email informing me I would have to drive 30 miles out of the way to pick up. After a long discussion with an agent found one a little closer. Driving to Appleton, Wi was bad enough though. If I would not have checked my email the night before I would have missed it. If the trailer was not available at Oshkosh why did the website let me reserve out of there???
David MThe weekend pick up was easy And seamless
Charles BThe mobile app wasn’t working for us to pick up our truck and the location didn’t open for another 20 minutes. Even though there was a person at the location, they wouldn’t help us because they said they didn’t open for 20 more minutes. (And our movers were waiting at our house)
Jeffrey HCargo area was not clean...there were bits of gravel around the edges.

ROGER KDrop off was easy. It was after hours so we used the app. This part went fairly well.

Joshua NDriving the truck was fine, but the rest of the vehicle had issues…headlight flickered, side mirrors wouldn’t move to be adjusted, weather stripping around the windshield came loose, and the gate wouldn’t latch properly
Stephanie NPlaced a hold on my card for the amount that was over what I actually had to pay but couldn’t use that card then because they placed a hold on it. Still haven’t released the money from the hold either

Amy DYour app does not recognize locations. I had all of my location settings enabled and it would not recognize that I was there. I wasted about 30 minutes with customer service and having to check in using uhual.com on Google to check in.
Ramona BThe van was dirty/muddy in the seating area. I turned it on, and it said the tires were low—20lb/sq inch per back tire in fact. So, we had to go the gas station and put air in the tires. There was no windshield wiper fluid. The driver’s side rear brake light and turn signals were not functioning. And, a message saying the tire pressure surveillance system needs maintenance was on the entire ride. If a car service business can’t ensure that their uhauls are properly maintained, then they should not be renting them in the first place.
Barbara BEquipment at pick up location which was 25 miles away from where I needed it, was not road worthy. Proprietor knew this but no one attempted to advise me and redirect me. This caused me to lose over an hour of waiting and additional driving to another pickup location. U-Haul refused my claim for adequate compensation, made no apology and a month later charged ME for unexplained, undocumented alleged damage I did not cause. Outrageous and horrible experience and customer service!
Louis JInside of storage area for truck was full of dirt and debris. The app to check in the truck is terrible. I have used it twice and both times I have had issues. Fix the app!
