Staff were extremely friendly and helpful but the state of disrepair of the building was a big turn off. We weren't sure if we were entering an abandoned building when we arrived.

The owner was fantastic , I had to wait on a truck that the service center said was they , however he called as soon as the truck came in.

Location did not have the moving pads ordered. Apparently were not delivered by Uhaul. Truck was only used less than 12 hours of 24 and was turned in with documentation via smartphone. However, no credit was issued for only 12 hr use.

Staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional. Staff offered to hook up trailer for a $20 fee and wouldn’t help without charging me. Location did not have furniture pads available to complete my order and following drop off location has over charged me for furniture dolly. Would not recommend this location to anyone!

The pricing was expensive. More than my buddy paid for a larger truck last week. And the truck was too small. Had to make two trips for 1 bedroom apt worth of stuff.

Told me to "hook er up and pull up, tell me which one you got". Zero help, safety check, lights...nothing. If I wasn't aware of my cars' and my own capabilities it could've went really bad. Extremely unsafe for most renters! They dont care about you...just money. Period. Seemed annoyed I was even there.

I was told to go to this location after my requested location did not have the size truck I needed and received a confirmation the night before, however, upon arrival the next morning the shop was closed, and the number that I was given to call for that store was completely out of service. After over 45 mins of waiting and being put on hold with the Uhaul scheduling department, luckily a general manager of the area just happened to come by and was able to get the situation taken care of. But after having to drive out of our way to go to a different pick-up point, the person in charge of the shop deciding not to come in, and receiving no help from the customer service line, I do not think I'll be using Uhaul again in the near future.

Honesty & business ethics goes a along way. I was assured I had a transporter reserved for me with a reservation 4 days in advance at a particular location. Not there , had to go to another location out of the way 45 min trip loss. Your commissioned reservationist was not about to let me know they didn't have a rental at one the locations convenient to my travel. AND MY TIME & SCHEDULE WAS NOT IMPORTANTI. I HAD A TIGHT WINDOW TO PICK UP A VEHICLE & I MADE IT CLEAR TO THEM HOW IMPORTAT IT WAS TO ME. I WONT FORGET IT. Your sales staff SUCKS !

In a bad part of town. Too many cars needing repaired parked along drive made it hard to get the truck returned.

The truck in the outside was clean and only minor damages from numerous rentals. The inside smelled good but didn’t look good. Visor was broken, sand in the cup holders, and stick substance on the dashboard. When we went to use the ramp there was broken glass all over it. Several pieces of glass were flung into my face while pulling the ramp down. (I swept what I could off) The attic leaked rain water all over the boxes that were stored there. Im not happy about this rental at all.

U-Haul is absolutely terrible at keeping track of their inventory. This is not the first tine I booked online, CALLED TO VERIFY, and yet later on I was requested to go to a different location. This is unacceptable and neglectful to the customer. U-Haul proves not to care about the time or travel wastes of their clients. Not to mention being charged for 4 DAYS when I only used it for 48hrs.

Send them to a different location. Appalling experience. Had we had another option we would have left. The owner is a rude unprofessional brute. We were being waited on by an employee who was pleasant but when I asked a question about the mileage allotment and why the tank wasn't full. He didn't seem to understand my questions so I was trying to explain when the owner came out of nowhere, pushed his employee aside and got very loud and angry at me and started talking down to me, punching the paper and told me when I needed gas to stop and get it saying ," Is that simple enough for you to understand?" - for asking why the truck didn't have a full tank and whether the truck had enough gas to get us to our destination, then he dumped the blankets on the floor and told us to get them ourselves. His employee did get them for us. Never had such a horrible experience with U-Haul before. To know U-Haul sent me there instead of moving the truck to my requested location, a location I had used before and had a positive experience with, was the icing on the cake.

I returned the equipment the same day and refueled, which was 10.00. A week later they are trying to charge me a fueling fee and my receipt is saying I returned the equipment the next day! They never answer their phone, and when the location I picked up the equipment from, Farm Pond, they couldn't get ahold to them either. This is very unprofessional!

Mason needs better parking. The auto trailer was down a hill. With the 26ft box truck backed down the trailer was still on the ground when the jack was raised.

They need to fix their printer so you can get a copy of the contract. It would also be nice for them to review the terms of the contract, such as cleaning the truck, etc. They also need to clean their trucks better. While I thought it was clean enough, the dealer on the other end tried to charge me for cleaning, even though it was just as I picked it up.

Service person was great, but office area looked unkept and unorganized, very unprofessional. Please don't smoke in office area where paperwork is done. We didn't mind too much, but others may dislike immensely.

Location personel were very unprofessional. Truck cab was dirty and windows were nasty. Fuel gauge did not register and they were not concerned.

Employee Filled out Check in tag at rental. Did not hook up my equipment or verify my vehicle. Used a fake Military ID as my secondary ID twice, Safety chain were worn down to nubs and were mismatched lengths. Tire strap on one side was jammed into ratchet took me a hour to undo. RH tire was cracked and aired up at every stop. LF tail lamp stopped working two hours into the trip. Hand crank on hitch would not stay latched kept backing off during trip. Improper check in of equipment, improper check out of customers, failure to follow process and guideline of a Uhaul dealer. I have seen dealerships closed for less.

Its a garage that does U-Haul on the side. I wasn't sure I was dropping the truck off in the right place until I saw the trucks parked out back. The attendant was helpful but preoccupied with a phone call the whole time.

Not sure I would recommend. U-Haul advertises 24hr drop off for this location. At 8pm, business vacant, poorly lit, no signage to direct after hours drop off, and the drop box for paper work was broken.

I went to pick up my equipment to include a truck, appliance dolly and pads. They had no dolly or pads so they made me drive across town to pick them up. I called uhaul and was told this was not covered by their equipment guarantee and the lady Debbie in Charlotte was very rude. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use this location ( it is filthy BTW)or uhaul for that matter you'll get better customer service from Budget or Hertz or Penske.

After my experience with U- haul this time the 20 hour delay of getting my rental messed up my plans on moving.Stressed me out to the point of needing to go to the emergency room for high blood pressure.Never in my life have I had such a bad experience.

first off i ordered a 17 foot uhaul truck when i got to masons auto to pick it up i was told that i would have to take a 14 foot truck because the 17 foot i had reserved was given to someone else the day before. therefore i was unable to move all of my belongings in 1 trip. I had to take 2 vehicles back to kannapolis nc in order to be able to get the rest of my stuff. I spent 143.19 to rent the truck and another 27.00 for gas and still had to use my own vehicles to get all of my belongings. If i had used to the truck to go back to kannapolis to get my belongings it would have costed as much in gas as the truck rental. I had intended on getting a uhaul truck again when i go to move my belongings from storage to my new home but after the experience i had today i will never again use your company. I feel some type of reimbursement is due me for all the trouble that i had. I hope no one else every has to endure the trouble that i had with uhaul.
