No one to help us hook up trailer. It was too heavy to lift. Tongue was on ground. Rear of trailer was pushed into a hill making the front of trailer impossible to lift. Had to get help from a salesman in the adjoining furniture store, he was kind enough to temp hook up trailer to pull it out of hill enough to raise tongue with his car Jack. Because of this hour and half delay with hooking up we returned trailer an hour after it was due back and charged a whole other day of use. I voiced my complaints at the return location explaining what had happened and was told no problem, however checked my credit card and I was certainly charged an extra 29.60 for an extra day.MARYJO B.

Your system of accepting or disputing the rented equipment condition sucks! The pictures were out of date as the equipment WAS DAMAGED at pickup time but the pictures on file did not show this. I opted for the $70 coverage to keep from having to owe TONS of money at return time. The warning messages were a total scare tactic and really irritated me. The trailers rates are too high already to have to buy OVER PRICED insurance. This rental experience was a total turn off and even though I am a repeat customer, I will go out of my way to not use U-Haul again. U-Haul now equals greedy large company using scare tactics to grab any money they can out of customers' pockets.Jeffrey B.

This review is about the condition of the truck that we rented. After driving it on a 55 miles/ hour road , the truck started pulling to the right , stirring wheel is not aligned. It gotten worst when we took the Thruway. My husband who driven a truck before ,managed to make it work to just to avoid delays ( if we go back and switch to another one,)to where we are going. We are just worried if an inexperienced driver happened to drive this particular truck it might not end well.STEPHEN J.
I received no assistance with the hook up and a when asked about the electrical whip- I was told I must go buy one. I went to the U-Haul location at 19153 St-11 Watertown and Matt Filkins was extremely helpful and provided an electrical whip.STACY B.

I would be remiss if I did not mention that I had to go to a Washington St. U-Haul address for a harness issue. Your representative Matt, went beyond normal customer care and typical knowledge. His ability allowed me to meet a previous commitment and begin a return trip 2 hours away. Employees like Matt make it easy to remain a U-Haul customer.LYNN H.

This was by far the easiest rental of a truck!! The previous renter of the truck left the back dirty but that has nothing to do with Masseys. I wl continue to use these people the next time I need a truck. Thank you!Debra M.

Have the person who is handing over the equipment out there. All vehicles should be on full or they should see if it's not. The workers were not occupied with anything where they couldn't spare a few minutes to walk over and show them the vehicle. It was stinky and there was goo caked on the cupholders.ALYSSA M.

Customer service sucked at Morrison furniture were the uhaul was on arsenal street Watertown Ny. Also the left light of the trailer was out and I got pulled over. I should have a refund and not be charged but I know this company only wants money. I took your uhauls a lot and I never had a problem till this time around. I'm going to recommend to others if I don't get a complete refund back on all this that what happened. This really sucked this time around. Plz let me get a complete refund. ThanksAnthony H.

They had me waiting for a while . They didn't acknowledged that I was there very rude people.angie K.
We didn't need the truck until Saturday, the 27, but had no choice but to pick the truck up the night before, the 26th, because Massey's doesn't open until 10 a.m. We were told to bring it back 6 or 6;30 but we received a phone call that it was to be back at 3 or 3:30. We returned it immediately, but we did not get done what we needed to. We have used Uhaul for years and this was the first time we were disappointed. Next time, we will go elsewhere.CHARLES D.
The reception took 40 minutes to complete my details prior to checking me out. When I asked where the Uhaul was she replied, "I don't know". When I asked if there was anyone to help mount it on my vehicle, she replied, "no". The 8x12 was sitting in a ditch and too heavy to budge. I called Syracuse office as they relocated me to this office as they didn't think the court street Uhaul had an available 5x8 as I ordered. Against their wishes, the furniture salesman at Massey's came out to help me commenting, "He doesn't do this job and Uhaul is suppose to deal with it but I want to make you happy... I need help". He brought out the "boss". They had to pull it out of a ditch and attach it. I arrived at their location at 1:50 and left there at 3. Very long process. In 3 weeks I may need to rent another one. I may have to find another option. Staff were friendly but very UNUSERFRIENDLY location for a UHAUL to be picked up or dropped off.Teri O.

Some of the customer service agents were not people friendly and could touch up on how they ask customers what they need.... didn't know "yes" was a way to assert a person coming into your business. Let alone smile some!Laryssa F.
We have a problem. We need to pick up this truck as early in the day as possible. The woman to whom I spoke assured me that we could get a truck as early as 7:00 a.m. This is vital, because we need to report to work at 8:00 a.m. the next day, and we have a 12-hour drive just getting to Michigan. My reservation said I was to pick my moving van up at one location in Watertown and when I got there I was told I had to do it at another location in Watertown. That was a real pain, and seemed to me a very inappropriate and misleading way to run a businessStephen S.
I had made several phone calls to Sam regarding renting a u haul for the first time. Each and every time she was very helpful and friendly. I was never a bother to her. There was another lady in the office when I picked up the keyes. She assisted us in a couple of things. She too was helpful and friendly.
