My reservation was made over the phone with a U-Haul representative because I was unable to make a booking on the U-Haul website. I tried multiple times several days in a row to book online. Eventually called and made my booking. I booked a 4:30 pm pick up for a date in the future. Was emailed a confirmation of my 4:30 pm reservation time. Arrived to pick up the moving truck later than expected and the doors were locked, phone number to call went to voicemail. Received a text message from U-Haul at 5:48 pm confirming my 6 pm rental time. Had to use a lock box to get the keys but that was not communicated ahead of time in email, text or phone call. Was very frustrating as other people were waiting for us to arrive with the moving truck.

PADEN EMC Cabs were terrible to work with I had a reservation for pickup at 10am someone called me the morning of at 836am asking if I could come right then to pick up. I had to wait for my second driver we got there at 930 the place was locked I then called them as the app wasn’t working and the guy was extremely rude and said he didn’t know how to work it and hung up on me. I thought maybe the call dropped I called back several times to someone picking up the phone and hanging up. I eventually called UHaul customer service who walked me through the process. I located our U-Haul that had a trailer parked in front that was extremely heavy that my fiance and I had to move by hand. The back of the U-Haul was dirty and the utility dolly that i also rented was not in there. We returned the next day to the same location and they were once again rude and wouldn’t take the utility dolly charge off I once again had to call U-Haul customer service who gave me a refund. This company should not be renting uhauls as they give U-Haul a bad name.
