It was difficult and troublesome to return the truck. It was dark, after closing hours and a little confusing to navigate the gates/codes to enter. Truck was fine Service was fine.GLORIA S.

Had a difficult time finding a person at the location to get the truck even though I had checked on everything ahead of time. The truck was very challenging to drive as it was so old and beat upâ€¦190,847 hard miles on it. I couldn't pull the parking brake upâ€¦ it had to be done for me. Inside the cab was very dirty - old drink containers people left and simply not clean. I had to sweep out the back of the truck before I'd even let my helpers put my furniture in. I have a time stamped (morning pickup) picture of a full dust pan I swept up. When we returned the truck it was also very challenging and time consuming. There was nothing pleasant about that rental or the person we finally tracked down at the location that morning. He never even smiled or said hello. He looked like we woke him upâ€¦ 8:40a. I had to ask him every simple question. Not a people person; wasn't the least bit friendly. That was the worst Uhaul experience I've ever had. That was my third Uhaul rental this year. My next one will NOT be at that location.Richard O.

Got a surprise bill of $64 which included fuel and safe move charges. I drove the truck for about 6 miles and returning it before time. I was not expecting this cost. Fair trade practice needs to be followed. Won't return to this location and would inform friends and community members of my experience.SWAPAN D.

The pick up location was â€œupdatedâ€ the day before pick up and it took us 40 minutes out of our way and then we had to backtrack. We drove 8 hrs from FL the day before, had hotel reservations near original pick up location only to find out that location was closed on Mondays. It would have been nice to know that at the time of booking..Leslie C.

I had a little trouble finding the touchpad as I entered the property, not expecting it to be on the left side of driveway. It took me a little while to figure out where it was in the dark. It was certainly not obvious. Having said that, great experience from a great dealer!JAMES L.
When I asked the person I checked out the trailer how to return it that night...he did not go into detail about the process, just said there will be instructions on how to return after hours. I did not realize the code was needed 3 times to get in two gates and out 1. And that the return gate was down the hill. NO biggy but a simple explanation would have helped. Thank you!David N.

Have your trucks at the location where the customer Reserved the truck not at a rental location near 15 miles further away. I had to drive extra miles to get to the truck from Meers and then drive back to the work location, costing me sn extra hour and 17 miles.Michael S.

The stupid uhaul "app" would not accept my information and I had to call Peter Meer to gain access to the office area. Peter then helped me gain access to the lock box in order to secure the key for my rental truck. Since I had to drive an additional ten miles to acquire the truck, it would have been nice to have the uhaul app work. Calling your 800 number is a waste of time as I waited over 20 minutes for a customer service rep to answer and I finally hung up. Never again !!TERRY H.

Actually check the trucks. Truck had no AC, and per the representative who contacted me the day before to change where I was picking up the truck, it was brought in only an hour before my pickupâ€¦clearly not enough time to fully and properly inspect the truck.Gerald H.
