This “location” was a joke. A truck sitting in a gas station parking lot is not a U-Haul pick up location. It's a disgrace and a piss-poor attempt to save money for U-Haul. Not a single employee at the gas station knew how to check out the truck and allow me to pick it up. I ended up walking the employee through filling out the employee side of things on the “U-Haul computer” in a back closet of the gas station. Then on top of that, there was not any moving blankets or a dolly prepared for me to take with me so I had to drive to a separate location to pick up these items. I was told that a regional manager would be calling me to discuss compensation for my problems, but have yet to hear anything back. I’m extremely disappointed in the company and will be recommending everyone that I know not to use U-Haul.
