I wasted a lot of time to order this equipment and switch equipment and return equipment from U-haul company. As you can see, I order clearly a tow tolly and a truck which must have a tow package to tow the tolly, but unfortunately U-haul company did not follow my order when I pick up the truck. U-haul company let me go to two different locations to pick up truck and tolly, and change the truck twice, have to pay extra cost for their tolly and truck. No service to help customer how safely tow my car on the ttly, if you ask u-haul help, you have to pay them extra cost to teach you his to use their tolly wheel bands. I spent extra money over $300 this time. That is not honest service. I fully charged the gas for U-haul, but U-haul gave me 7/8 full tank of gas. No refund either.

Low inventory
Morris MMy son just dropped off so there’s not much I can say about the location except that on the final paperwork the mileage was changed from the original original contract. We were promised not sure which location is in charge of that.

JOSE S1 hand truck should automatically come with the truck outside of all the extra equipment you would have to pay additional money for and the first 10 miles should be free when booking it for 24hrs or more then start charging afterwards

Hillis WTrucks should at least come with cruise control, would have made the trip so much easier. Truck also drove horrible, it was all over the road. And a back up camera comes on the most basic cars now a days. Not only would be safer for driver but asset protection for your vehicles. Back up camera in a review mirror would not have cost much when building trucks.

DANIELLE FThe guy was on his cellphone when I arrived and really he seemed annoyed that he had to help me. There was nowhere to park the trailer until he shuffled some cars around. We then had to back it up into a tiny spot trying not to hit cars on both sides. I went in to tell him we were done and he told me that I was good. I then was called by Uhaul the next day saying that I still had the trailer. The guy never checked it in. I did not get a receipt and that is on me but I had to speak with a Uhaul representative 3 different times to the next day to track it down and prove I didn't have the trailer.
EUGENE SNot very informative, had to hook up my own equipment. When I returned the trailer the entrance was blocked and had to wait for them to move a vehicle to get in the parking lot. Also when I asked what I needed to do, the guy said," I don't know man, I'm just a mechanic. I don't mess with the uhaul shit." Very unprofessional! Will not rent from this location ever again.

Kelly BHorrible customer service, I reserved equipment for my move and the customer service rep told me “we gave everything we had to the last guy sorry” and they gave me a truck with a fuel leak and the check engine light was on. The auto transport was leaking brake fluid and had a broken (unusable) tie down strap for the front tire. Horrible

Albert NThe location was cramped BUT the people working couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I had not reserved a dolly in advance and this location didn't have one so they directed me to another nearby location to get one. Both locations were very convenient to where I was loading the truck.
DANIEL STruck did not have 1/2 tank of gas. Location did not have furniture blankets and was told to go to another location to get some and was not offered additional miles to cover the extra miles needed to go to another location. Wheels need alignment as the truck wanted to go right as driving.

Kyle KThis location was awesome. I had a horrible experience at 8220 Dorchester road location that i normally use. The general manager there ignored me while I waited in the line as she got fussed at for charging a wrong account. Apparently last week someone came in and paid with a check and she applied it to the wrong account. She was getting fussed at by her manager. She went on to lie and say she did greet me. But she didn’t. I normally use that location if you check my account history. That manager was the only one working. She ignored me and never said anything. I left and notified the 1 800 number. She lied to them and told them she did greet me. She didn’t. Even if she had, why would I leave? Why not put her manager on hold? Why am I seen on camera standing there waiting and driving around the lot for help?

stan pThey did nothing to help me load the trailer. They simply said it’s outside and I’ll come out to inspect before you leave. I had to drag it out of the spot (by hand) and fight to get it on my hitch. I asked if they had any suggestions on loading the vehicle and he just said watch some YouTube videos about it. He was eating popcorn the whole time. When I confirmed online, I declined the insurance coverage. I didn’t notice until after the renal when I received the emailed copy of the contract that I was charged the insurance. It was such a miserable encounter that I don’t even feel like going back there to protest the charge. Horrible experience. Please refund my insurance charge.

DEB NThe transmission on the truck was slipping and in two instances the truck almost didn't start after filling gas. Otherwise it was clean and as expected.
William BUpon arrival waited at desk 10min to speak with employee. Stated I was dropping off tow dolly. Was told ok, find a spot and put it there. I asked if anyone would assist unhooking, wanted to inspect for condition and he said no. It was raining, I am an older customer, and was wearing an elbow cast from recent injury. I unhooked dolly, stowed chains/webbing and pushed the dolly into an empty space. The location was scattered with vehicles for repair and random UHAUL equipment. The one staff member I interacted with was terse and matter of fact. I was charged for 2 days although I had the dolly for 19 hours from A to B. Over all was not completely satisfied with experience. If UHAUL has a policy at all centers that you have to do your own install and disconnect, I think I will look for alternative solutions to my moving needs.

Krystopher BNothing mechanically was wrong with the truck and the gentleman that worked with me to get my keys was incredibly friendly. The truck just had a bad odor in bed from what looked like a previous customers move with old kitty litter. We cleaned it out before we put our stuff inside and everything was great after that. Pick up and drop off were smooth and easy.

Shanda PTerrible Uhaul experience. Do not do business at this location: 1. I drove on Dorchester and was pulled over by the police because the break light was out. The employees failed to inspect the vehicle properly. 2. Vehicle was filthy on the inside 3. Filled the tank up with extra gas but no money reimbursement. They will charge extra if it is not filled completely so they don't care about you the customer honestly.
