Stop over charging. I paid over $100 for 1.5 hours of use . The trucks do not come with straps and I had to take the first truck back because it did not have a ramp. Tge customer service rep was very nice is the only good thing I can say about the experience.
CARLANTO BIt took 5 months to get the equipment return confirmation. Not sure what's up with this location.

Michael KI reserved a trailer on Saturday morning. Sunday when I arrived to pick.it up it was on its way to Georgia some how. So luckily the poeple working the counter were helpful and sent me down the road to a gentleman that had to open his shop just for me. Then I get home and the app won't load and work and I was told by customer service the drop location I used 5 other times doesn't except trailers anymore and as I load up the trailer the location owner comes out to tell me he does still accept trailers and has no idea why customer service said what they said. I've used uhaul auto transport 6 times now 5 times with no issues at all but this experience was so bad I will never be recommending or using uhaul ever again. You technology and apps are only good when they work. I wasted 3 hours just dealing with uhauls mess ups.

This was my first time renting- the gentlemen at the counter explained everything and walked me through what I needed to do. He also made small talk about a few things, which made the experience more personable. Not only would I recommend this location for a U-Haul but I need a closer car garage since we just moved. The customer service put this location on my radar. Thank you so much, I wish I caught his name.

One note on the app, when attempting to complete the return process, the location photograph could not be uploaded and the return window closed out unexpectedly. John IReservation was changed less than 24hrs before picking Up to this location. The email and phone confirmation were for my selected location but when I went there they told me it wasn't there. No phone call to even ask if this location was OK for me. Because this location was farther than the original one it caused me to go over mileage and pay more. This location was nice enough however and the mechanic says this happens all the time.
William MBy far the worst experience renting a uhaul this time around. From the rusty lock during self check in not allowing us to retrieve the key to not having the dolly we requested. To additional charge for miles when it was supposed to be unlimited. Horrible experience.
Rosemary TMy friends are too far away I was too far away from this location it was OK but I'm still too far away I have other locations that I could have picked up the vehicles and claimed they were not available for what I needed they gave me a larger truck and cost me more and I was not happy with that issue they told me I would charge me for the same price as a smaller vehicle gave me a bigger one and charged me double that was not fair
Thomas LWhen we first tried to drop off the uhaul there was no one there and a sign was on the door "out sick." With staffing issues these days I understand the difficulties, but it did provide inconvenience for us. The next day when we went in, there was only one employee for the whole car center/uhaul AND the uhaul website was down so there was nothing he could do to help us. Again, not his fault and he was very nice, but something worth mentioning.

THOMAS KPerson at the desk was nice. Truck was dirty, with used COVID masks, Chap Stick, junk on floor, etc. I need trucks occasionally for my business and typically rent from Enterprise. Was very disappointed in the condition of this truck.

Samuel BTruck reserved over a month ahead was not available notified the afternoon before my rental.. Given a smaller truck further away , needs to make 2 trips and more than doubled the mileage. Was told I would receive a $50 credit. Never received. Trouble with mobile rerun and charged 20 for return,. I believe I am due credit for all of this issues. Will never recommend u haul. Sean BWhen I walked in the person helping me was extremely rude. They did not have the furniture pads I requested when I set up the order weeks prior. They said "we don't have furniture pads, we've never had furniture pads." They also did not have the furniture dolly. They had a utility dolly that was covered in grease at the handle. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had with UHaul and maybe UHaul should consider carefully who they allow to process their rentals. As a long time repeat UHaul customer, I can certainly promise I will not be renting from UHaul again.

Then when we go to pick it up had to do the whole rental all over, why not sure completed all this on line. And the price was different at the rental place Then they told us 3 days vs the online agreement 4 The truck we got was dirty and had alot of stickers with dings and what not We decided after all the times of giving uhaul a chance this was the last time

Clifford SThis past weekend was the worst experience I've had renting from U-haul. The app was really glitchy. I got charged for three days instead of one just because I didn't return through the crappy app. I can go on and on about this past weekend but Im not going to waste my time. Last time Im using U-haul after this dispute goes through. Thank you for trying to take my money during these difficult times.

Garry EThe recorded mileage uhaul had for the truck was incorrect when I picked it up using the uhaul app and key lock box. I did not find out until after I dropped it off in glenside. I took photos of the mileage and gas before leaving so a big problem was resolved when I dropped it off in glenside. I drove the vehicle less than 75 miles but when I returned it uhaul recorded my mileage as 644 miles. The location in glenside was great about handling the issue but in my opinion this should have never happened to begin with. Had I not took photos of the mileage before starting my trip I would not have had any way to prove to uhaul I did not drive 644 miles (other than it is kind of impossible to drive 644 miles in 5 1/2 hours.
brandon hI would never recommend uhaul to anyone. I reserved my uhaul online as a one way and when I received my receipt online after I picked up and got home it said in town return to same location, which was 55 miles away. No one at uhaul was willing to help . Very diseatful.

marian sI had an issue mid-trip when the vehicle rented didnt have the clearance to fit the item I rented it for. I called the main line and waited 18 mins before getting someone. I was transferred and waited another 15mins only to be transferred to the wrong state. It was not only embarrassing, but a costly waste of my time and my customers time. Needless to say, I paid $243 dollars without getting done what I needed to. I have rented a bunch of times this year and it has been great, but the one time I had a major issue I was left hanging. I will consider other options for my next trip, which will be Monday.

Mark ZThey guy at the desk was initially not going to help me. He stated, " I do not do the Uhauls." I then explained to him that my paperwork stated I had to return it to this location. He said he would call someone. I explained that there was a number on my paperwork that I could call. I called the number and it rang to the guy in front of me that did not "do the uhauls." He then proceeded to take my paperwork and ended up documenting that the truck was returned 2 hours later and I have been charged for an extra day. I then attempted to dispute this and attached a picture of my phone log, specifically showing the above phone call that I made and the time was right at my required return time. I am very frustrated with this and should not have been charged any additional charges.
Alex SWe rented the truck in VA on Friday. We drove to PA on Saturday. We arrived after this location had already closed. Even though we returned the truck on Saturday night, we got a charge for an extra day because we were reported as returning the truck on Monday. When I got the email with the extra charge, there was an email address that I was to direct any questions to. I have emailed that address twice trying to get our money back. I have not gotten a response in 10 days. Today I tried the 1-800- Go-Uhaul number. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes listening to very loud musak, I gave up. I am extremely dissatisfied with U-Haul at this point. I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I don't see any other way to resolve this.
