Some faulty parts on trailer needed to have a roadside assistance come and make repairs before I could continue my trip for safety reasons should have been caught at the returning shop

Vehicle had trash in it and was almost on Empty. Gas gauge warned only 23 miles to empty. Truck ignition was sticking and key was difficult to remove

The gentleman that was bringing the vehicles up to the customers was extremely helpful and was hustling to take care of three customers waiting for their vehicles at 0900 hours. He had to clear off snow on all three vehicles and had a difficult time getting the second vehicle's roll up door unfroze which increased everyone's waiting time.

I think $1.39 per mile is pretty expensive for a local move, which brought the total bill higher than what I hoped for, but it was still lower than every competitor. This is why I avoid rental trucks. No one mentioned that the truck only gets around 7 mpg, that would have been helpful. The brakes made a loud screech if I pressed them before the engine was turned on. It was still a good rental experience - good truck, lots of room, easy controls.

Not related to the location but I rented a 17 foot and was texted a location to pick up. When I arrived in the morning the location I was texted to go through said that the truck was rented at a location 1.5 miles away. Not a big deal except that I was dropped off and I didn't have a ride. Disappointing to be sent to the wrong location.

I've used Uhaul numerous times over the years and am also one to rarely have the energy to write on these customer satisfaction surveys. I rented a truck in Puyallup wa on Friday to move my mother out to Bellevue. Typically, once I'm doing with the truck you can return it after use and use the online return app. As I was calling to confirm the return. The rep told me that they got a call from there manager stating no one can return there trucks until the next day there open and if I do I'm liable. So your telling me, I have to keep to truck over night even when I'm done with it and can't return it. I then was transferred to a scheduling rep that told me she undertands but they don't know how to handle situations. Ultimately, I will probably go to a different company moving forward

Clean your vehicles and inspect them before client rents them. Im appalled the van was so disgusting and I had to spend 2 hrs disinfecting and cleaning the van so my items would not get damaged. I spent my time and money to make the van able to be driven , still with windows down. We are dealing with Covid-19 case rises in the area and this is how you rent out a vehicle?

When I made my reservation, which was online, I then I spoke to a Customer service rep immediately after I made my reservation online. I had a couple of questions. It was never explained to me how much the total cost of the truck would be. It was priced at $29.95 online for a 15 foot uhaul truck rental. No extra costs were ever explained to me. The total cost was &172.33. I have never ever paid such a high price for a uhaul rental. This was my 4th time renting a uhaul truck in the last 5 years. truck. 1 time to pick up a couch that I had purchased and 3 times for moving. This was an outlandish price, and then to put a 1/4 a rank of gas to get it to the 1/2, which was where it was when I picked it up, was $25. So right at $200 for 5 hours of using the uhaul rental. Let alone, I asked for a hand cart and furniture solely also, which they charged me for, wasn't even on the truck. I am a 62 year old woman moving into a senior housing apartment, and they couldn't even put the correct equipment that I requested and that I was charged for??? ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS. . I was NOT about to go back to the uhaul facility to get the equipment that I had ordered and was charged for because I would've had to oay $20 just to get the truck to a half of a tank. All I got from the rep was… sorry about that ma'am. Again, no communication at all??? ? I had to ask when and how much was I being credited for NOT receiving the correct equipment that I had requested. Before I left, there was a cell ovine in the cab of the truck. I returned it to the office before I left and it turns out it was the managers phone that he had left in the truck. The other customer service rep made a derogatory remark to the effect of, “yeah that's our managers phone and he's not always there” making a cuckoo movement with his hands at his head , insinuating he's crazy. I guess it was a good thing I am an honest person. The overall running of this facility is just absolutely outlandish. I have done customer service in my career for 25 + years, and I have never ever seen something like this in my life. I will never ever rent from UHAUL again… EVER!!!! The after hours return process took me an hour. I was on hold waiting for support for a very long time. I don't plan to use this location or do an after-hours return again. The truck worked out fine though.

I had a good interaction with the guy at the register. He was decent and straight forward. He treated me like a person. They had the truck size I reserved (which sometimes doesn't happen), and I didn't feel like they were trying to rip me off or nitpick every ding in the truck they hadn't put a sticker on (like Budget). The only weird thing was that the guy who brought the truck out handed me the keys and said, “Here you go” and then walked away. He didn't inspect anything with me or ask if I had any questions. I thought that interaction was pretty sorry. The only way it could've been more sorry is if he threw the keys at me and didn't say a word.

There was an exhaust leak in the cab, the windows had to be down the whole time. Stopping at a light would increase the exhaust in the cab. Also there was an oil leak, it leaked all over my driveway. To top it off the back of the truck looked like it was used as a kennel for dogs. Dog food, dog hair and it stunk of dogs.

My original pickup location was within 8 miles. Uhaul revised the day before and I ended up going twice that far to pick up my trailer. I was not planning on that.

Again, returning truck after hours and couldn't get to work on phone. Kept getting a ‘You have No Reservations' error. Anyway, after finally figuring out where I could legally park the 15' truck? And sitting on hold for 15+ minutes, I dropped the keys in the door and called it a day.

I returned the truck with an eighth of a tank of gas (about $15) over the half way point it was at when I checked it out yet I was still charged about $4 for going over the allowed miles. Just seems petty; so maybe factor that into your final reviews.

Nothing at all. Mitch was super patient and helpful. He is knowledgeable about UHAUL, the app, and process. I was super grateful that he not only assisted me with ensuring I had a lock that fit the truck, but he showed me how to operate it and made it easy for me to drive away by ensuring the vehicle was parked in such a way that made it easy for me.
