I was not aware that I had to drive through a gate to return the truck. I did not have any code provided to me to open the gate. By chance, another customer who was accessing their storage had the access code to open the gate so I was able to follow them in and park the truck. Providing the access code to open the gate would most definitely be useful next time. Other than that, everything else was excellent.David C.
I reserved this equipment on the U-Haul.com website. The website had me choose where I was going to pickup and drop off them equipment. This was then changed later when my reservation was confirmed. Not sure why I needed to choose where I would pickup and drop off the equipment if you were just going to change the location (twice for the drop off) later in the process. I prepaid and checked in online for a one way rental of a 15' van, 2 dollies, and 24 furniture pads which included 65 miles. Upon arrival to pickup the van, the van was not ready, there was only one dolly at the facility, the mileage had been reduced to 55 miles, and I was told I owed another $20 because something in my reservation had changed (I had not changed anything in my reservation). I asked for this to be corrected but the U-Haul computer system was down so I was given the option of waiting for the system to come back up and miss the contract moving help I had paid for through U-Haul or hope that they would fix the problems. I would like to commend Vincent who worked to fix the issues and was professional and courteous in a very difficult and stressful situation. I cannot say the same thing for his supervisor/manager (I am sorry I did not get her name, she was not wearing a name tag). She was not helpful and her actions escalated a stressful situation.Charles J.

I have never been more impressed by the service at a self storage/truck rental facility. The manager, Mitch, worked with me so elegantly when I had some last-minute plan changes. All equipment was in clean working condition and the truck was fabulous to drive. Mitch helped me pick out the perfect unit based on what I needed and I couldn't be happier. I preordered 2 dolly's and a furniture dolly in addition to 24 blankets. They were not with the truck when I picked it up and had to go to another location to get those items. Furthermore the truck only had 1\4 tank of gas when I picked it up. It should have been full so I could head straight to my move instead of having to stop and get gas.Clifford P.

My original reservation was to pick up the truck at the Canyon Road location. I expressed my disappointment with having to change locations and I was told the district manager would call me. I am still waiting for the call.RENE V.
Stop changing your price is based off of people moving. Your prices raise during summer time or during peak move time so you can capitalize off the customer for maximum profit. The trailer that I paid almost $700 for was the next size down in the last trailer that I paid $700 for. Then on top of that my belongings were damaged because of water. Who wants to keep water damage stuff around their house? I don't want to keep looking at the same stuff and being upset that it doesn't work. I had to downgrade all kinds of personal belongings because The only trailer available was the small trailer. Then I had to throw away a a bunch of stuff because it was wet. This move had to be by far the most expensive move that I made because of damage plus downgrading. In the past 5 years I've moved to 9 time to different states. I move a lot an found uhaul to have the best customer service but that was just because that how it was. No anymore. As a customer I can see that uhaul is only for profit not pro customer. I hope that no one has to experience these same hardships with their move.ricardo R.
