I had difficulty with the app for checking in online. Some due to it being my first time using it but it was somewhat confusing and didn't load very well on my phone.

When I went to pick up. The customer service agent said he was only one in store and couldn't leave. I would have like him to go with me to the truck and give me some pointers or tips about handling the truck since it was a 26 footer and it was my first time driving something that big . Just come and check out truck with me to give me some instructions on mirror positions since it was so big

Code for the key box has number erased due to multiple uses. It has been kind of confusing at one point as one figure was missing.

Ben was great. He called me the night before and got me set up with a truck, was quick to help the next day, told me what I needed to know, got me on my way, and did it all with a smile on his face. I've used U-Haul 4 times this year and this was my best experience with any of them, hands down.

I was disappointed that my reservation was for a different location (Zionsville, IN) , and NOT the pick up location (Carmel, IN). No phone call was ever received within 24 hrs of the rental. When selecting a 8' truck, location options should not be an option if they don't have them available. I would've made other arrangements if I had known that the reservation was not at the selected location which was noted in a later text and not in the email confirmation. The increase in miles and time to get to the pickup location was not budgeted for. Quite disappointing.

This was a terrible experience. We booked through another location; Uhaul sold out of that location and moved our booking to a farther location without checking. When UHaul charges by the mile this is a bait and switch in their favor. Additionally, the self-service app said it would take about 15 minutes to complete. We had a number of issues and had to wait 20-25 mintues for someone to "approve" the pickup. They called my wife, who was with me, and then hung up randomly when they heard me also talking to them. Will not rent from uhaul again.

The two gentlemen I spoke with on the phone and saw one in person (Ben) gave excellent customer service--polite, clear, professional, efficient and customer-focused. Will definitely make sure that we rent our next UHaul from this location!

I was not aware that the location was closed on my pick up date (Sunday). I did not know about the on line check in and it caused me a bit of angst. I would recommend when the call is made to the customer to confirm the appointment that the customer is also made aware of the on line check in. Mostly effects the older community.

The truck was okay. The service and follow up to concerns is way below acceptable. Filed concern with corporate and was informed franchise would be calling and I am still waiting. First time with UHaul and will be my last. Penske is much better

I was surprised to learn in the day before my rental that I was downgraded to a 15 ft from my ordered 17 ft. Even though I was offered a 20 ft instead (which I declined), I would have appreciated more advance notice.

The only negative I would say was the self check in process. We sat for a long time at the truck waiting for the “approval” process once we put in all of our information on the app. It's like it got stuck or wouldn't refresh or something. We kept trying to “chat” w a service representative and it took along time for someone to get back w us on the app. Otherwise great! Next time we'd just wait until the store opens to check in.

Advise that furniture be covered with a drop cloth, and that mice may gain access to boxes and nest in contents. We did have evidence that mice had been on the furniture, but not inside of it also.
