I have spoke with customer service on 3 separate occasions. I was charges to rent a appliance dolly. I never received the dolly . . Original renter of truck charged me for it even though he knew he didnt have it to give . . Ive asked 3 times for the charge to be removed . Yet no one has done anything .jesse B.

While the personnel was helpful, the workers present did not know what needed to be done to return the truck. The worker who did know had left, so I wasn't sure if I had even given them the correct information to finish the drop off.Kendra R.

I didn't drop off; my daughter did it and said she was unnerved by a couple of men standing around (in the garage maybe?) I'm not sure if they were employees or just people who live nearby. If they were employees, a uniform or a friendly "hi, can I help in any way?" would have made her feel better.JERI R.

This location is a bit "rough" in appearance, but is in a good geographical location for our needs. The proprietor did not contact us as he said he would after we returned the truck and called him. The remainder of the experience was positive.JOELLEN H.

Location is a complete dump. Signage makes difficult to find. Staff were "in the house" for over 15 minutes while we stood outside waiting for assistance. Apparently only a single person can check in returned vehicles. The location is basically an automotive repair shop and is typically dingy and grungy. Inside, the manager's office is disgusting, crowded and there was no place for me to sit while he went thru the check-in process. Throughout the ordeal, he often stepped away to continue working on a vehicle in the bay, making me stand around and wait. According to my father, who has lived in Alton all his life, the other Alton location (not East-Alton) is much cleaner and more professional.STEVE C.

Did get charged for 10 miles over the limit which I think is unfair since I had to drive 20 miles round trip out of my way to pick up the rental when the first pick up location waited until just before I arrived to let UHaul know the equipment had not been returned and I did not have a truck to pick up. Regardless, Micks Auto Repair was very courteous and helpful during the dropoff process.JANICE K.

The U-Haul Store in Alton is excellent. I was very disappointed to have to go to this dirty, messy place....although the man was nice enough.....the facilities are terrible.ROBERT B.
