Vehicles clearly have no maintence done. It is a wonder my things weren't broken to pieces with how 0 shocks that truck had. The website and app are a complete nightmare. Its like the company sourced it out to the lowest bidder and someone used ai to make it with no coding skills themselves. Will go to a place with a real human working next time for sure.

do away with the "virtual manager" experience. It works very poorly. The virtual manager does not know where things are. The virtual manager cannot explain anything well. The virtual manager has zero understanding of the site where the equipment is located.
THOMAS TI had difficulty accessing the keys from the lock box. The virtual manager promptly switched the vehicle to enable me to get keys but the contract did not show the correct plates when I checked. I had to inform the company of the change. The condition of the vehicle was indicative of its age, with over 134,000 miles. The drive train sounded and felt like it was suffering even before being loaded. It was clean but uncomfortable to drive.
PETER MI was very pleased . Harold on screen was patient, explained everything in detail and quite through ! The truck was full of gas, clean, tires in good shape , drove well and was a successful experience !

DONALD CThe physical location is good. If you need help the attendants that is available on the tv screen did their jobs well. The cost was 25% higher than we calculated. 29.95 is not the price! The app does not upload the photos well. We have our photos of the truck in case there are any issues, suggested by the virtual assistant. The locks on the lockbox need to be made easier to open. We and the rental people after us had a very hard time. I have used virtual assistants and lockboxes many times, this time was my most frustrating.

EDGAR HThis was not to be the pick up location, it was 40 minutes from my home and the original location was 10 minutes from my home. I was notified of this change about 12 hours prior to the move. I had movers waiting while I drove around getting a truck. I think people should be informed at least 24 hours in advance. The people renting trucks are trying to get something done and are on a tight timeframe.
Landon PIt took me forever to get my U-Haul. I was supposed to pick it up at 8:45. I didn’t get a U-Haul until about 4 o’clock that evening went to 3 4locations. end up having to ride 30 minutes just to get one I have never had this experience with U-Haul
Tycora GWe had a reservation for pickup for a truck and utility dolly at 8am. When we arrived the utility dolly was not in the truck, so we had to wait until 9am when the location opened to get the utility dolly. The truck was also filthy with cigarette ashes left from the previous customer. The floor was also filthy. When I was contacted by the manager, Jarrett, all he did was make excuses why it was that way and pushed me off the contact UHaul for any time of resolution. Trucks should have the items reserved and also checked for cleanliness. We ended up cleaning up the truck because we did not want to be held responsible when the truck was returned. I am still waiting on someone from senior management with UHaul to contact me since Jarrett said it wasn't his responsibility.

PETER AThe pick up process was a nightmare. The app stated that I had no equipment assigned to me (which wasn’t true). I proceeded to spend 20 minutes on hold to finally get a customer service rep to help. I lost 30 minutes of time with my movers due to how long this process took. It added so much stress to my day. I will be hesitant to use U-Haul again.

Donald G1. U-haul gps couldn't find me, finally after 3 tries got a customer service rep that helped me get my check-in started. 2. Opened the key lock-box and the key was jammed so tight it took me half an hour to pry it out. The tag the keys attached to was the problem. So now I'm an hour late to get going. 3. I got charged for two days, when I had the truck back before 3:30 the same day I picked it up, a total of 4 1/2 hours! I'd probably won't be using U-haul's after hour check out any time soon.
Wayne FThe standard I was told it needed to be in when I returned it was not the standard I received it. It smelled of cigarette smoke and the floors were filthy. The back bumper had cigarette butts on it. I did clean out the interior and the back bumper but was disappointed in the condition I received it in.
Ryan DPadlock on key lockbox was very hard to open. Spent 90 minutes picking up truck. No one at site. Virtual agent was helpful. Customer service on phone was helpful. In general, U-Haul system was very poor … had me drive across Asheville to return unit charging me extra miles and gas.

Marcia BI wouldn't recommend U-Haul period - I've had nothing but problems with them every time i've used them. Billing was yet again messed up this time. This location however, the on-site staff was very helpful. The first virtual agent had information completely wrong and was not trying to be helpful at all - the second virtual agent did get the information correct and rented the equipment but then the return location was incorrect which caused the problems at the second location - I've been charged for 2 days rental when i returned it after 1 day. This seems like a them with U-Haul to try and get extra money. I will never use them again if at all possible not to.

Mike BFirst, I did not get any paperwork to show I was legally pulling your trailer, which I have always had with me. The attendant was very friendly and hooked everything up to my van and we even checked to make sure the lights all worked. I pulled the trailer 1 mile before it uncoupled from my van and ended up with the tongue caught under the van. I had to jack the van up to get the trailer loose and reconnect to the van. Another person stopped and went back to tell the attendant what had happened. He bought back a number I could call for assistance, but by then I had already rehooked the trailer. The only thing I could find wrong was the nut that holds the trailer to the ball was completely backed off. I suspect the attendant left it loose. Also when I got the trailer unloaded the gait would not close, it was stuck wide open. and I had to return it like that.

James HIt took close to an hour to complete the paperwork due to ultra slow computer issues. We were there because another Uhaul dealer nearby had lost our reservation and rented the truck we were holding. We are a non profit who uses your trucks to move our supplies two days a year. The one hour delay ment volunteers were waiting while I stood around for the slow computer. We only use the truck for about six hours, but due to the volunteers time constraints, we pick it up the afternoon before, use it the next morning, then return the truck. $172 is difficult for our organization to justify, we will be renting elsewhere next time.

Tanner MThe UHaul app was not working properly and there was no wifi available. It was a Sunday, so the office was closed. I wasted 2.5 hours trying to upload my photo/driver's license and did a few Live Chats. My location was not recognized and I kept getting kicked out of the system. Apparently the entire UHaul system was down. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. UHaul needs better technical support.

WILLIAM BI can not give enough praise to the guy that assisted us at this location, his name was ANDO!! We had never rented a UHAUL and we had lots of questions, he answered every question we had and made us feel super comfortable pulling away in the UHAUL. My husband never brags on anyone, and the whole trip to KY he kept mentioning how he just couldn't get over how helpful Ando was and how comfortable he made this whole ordeal for us. He is truly a gem to your business!!!
