GREGG BWhen unloaded, the 6x12 trailer appeared to be ready with no issues. When I loaded the trailer, I noticed that the right rear tire was dangerously low. Luckily, I have an air compressor and was able to fill it and top off the other three tires. This could have been a dangerous or troublesome situation for someone that had not noticed the low tire pressure or didn't have the resources to fix it after loading.

Jack LThe equipment that I used was not functioning properly! I have used this model several times before and have never had any issues until now. I did not get to see the hookups fully as the technician on duty hooked the trailer to my truck. He had me test the lights and then said everything was okay. When I left and got out in traffic I noticed that I started having problems while stopping. Every time that I would stop, I would feel the trailer slamming into the back of my vehicle. When it became apparent that what was happenig when braking was not normal. I pulled over as soon as I could find a safe spot to investigate more, thinking that maybe something had been hooked up incorrectly. I checked the brake fluid resevior and the trailer hookups and then I notice that the all of the electrical wires had been cut and badly retaped together. This was not good. I have returned the trailer and would like a full refund and reimbursement if any damage is found done to my vehicle! When I got back the only person to talk to was your virtual personnel which was of very little help.
David BWhen I booked this trailer, it told me I would get a discount to drop it off in Herndon Virginia. But that discount never showed up and I ended up paying full price. I emailed U-Haul but I never got a response. I tried three times on the booking app and every time it said I would get a discount but then it never showed up very disappointed. This is my third rental.

Robin B2nd time using this location. The employee was happy, energetic and fast paced. U-Haul better keep him under lock and key- everything was efficient and smooth running. One helpful hint- widen the drive way. That could be frustrating I think. I liked the virtual assistant- it was annoying every time the door opened. I would add a button to silence him if the attendant is in the store. That’s all! Great job U-Haul keep up the good work and job well done.

ANDREW TI returned the truck a little longer than the time of 8:40 am. I was charged an extra day for this. I live in Beaufort, SC. Midgard is 32 miles away from Beafort. It took me over 1 hour to get there on Thursday morning and the same trip on Saturday morning. I originally wanted to pick up the truck in Beaufort however the 'Traffic manager in Savannah booked me in Blufton with Midgard. I will be requesting a refund from Uhaul on Monday. I will probally just not do this again. I believe this is truly unfair. The staff at Middgard was very helpful. The manager that morning gave me a used pad lock. Thank you. I had to purchase a $30.00 lock at Lowes because it was too small for the door locking device. The trucks are located in a storage area. Very difficult to drive a 26 foot around. It was necessary to back the truck out of the facility due to the limited turning radius. Very chanllenging backing out into the culdsac. Thank you! Uhaul will be giving me back a $50.00 curtecy fee for a change in my reservation. This does not cover the 64 miles of travel as well as extened travel time. it is the cost of ninty dollars that I have an issue with. I paid for the gas for the 64 miles. My time is worth much more than $50.00. I would hope that somone from U-Haul actually reads this and contacts me first. I will wait and see. Most of the time it is usually left up to customer to be proactive.. PS - The individual at the center took the key and said that they will send an email receipt. I will never do that again without settling up first and getting a with receipt at the counter at is location. That is for sure. All in All, I have used U-Hall over many years. I will continue to use U-Haul again.

Gregory ESuper easy rental process from online booking, counter check in to drop off. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful a d professional. We continue to rent at the location for those reasons.
Craig KChristian was very helpful. The only issue we had was upon returning we were stuck dealing with the Virtual Assistant. It was then that we learned for the first time seeing no one was there in person that we had to download the app, sign in and go through a real exercise just to take a picture of the mileage used and then later get our receipt sent out with no assurance we would be discounted for the less mileage we used thus eligible for a credit. Thankfully Christian finally arrived and handled things smoothly. We were just annoyed that we had to learn this download the app matter after the fact and not told this was required if no live person was onsite when we got back. It delayed us getting in and out quickly.

EDWARD GI rented a 20’ truck well in advanced and had a lot of moving set up to take place. I show up and I’m told I would need to travel to another location to pick up a truck. One 20’ truck setting there but I’m told it’s for someone else. Not happy!

QUINN TI'd like to leave a bit of a conflicting review. The positive - the facility is good, the truck was clean, the after-hours pick-up directions were clear and reasonable, and the manager at the facility during drop-off was efficient and helpful. The negative - the actual after-hours pick-up app is infuriating, as it was unable to read the back of my driver's license for 30 minutes. I can assure you that this was not user error, as I've uploaded documents hundreds of times. The customer service rep who then called me was polite and helpful, but then the gate code that I was given did not work. Luckily, another patron drove through so I was able to access the gate/truck. Mind you, this was at 11pm. Then, when prompted to upload pictures of the truck, the app would not actually upload the pictures that I'd taken. Finally, backtracking to the day before...after having my reservation confirmed, I was called and alerted that the location I'd chosen does not accommodate after-hours pick-up and/or did not have the 15' truck that I'd reserved. I was offered a 10' or 20' truck at another location. I did not pursue the $50 credit that would normally be applicable in this situation. Since I'd chosen a smaller truck and would need to make multiple trips, the rep offered a discounted mileage rate of $.79, but my final invoice was billed at $.99. Overall, just a very frustrating experience, but the PEOPLE were very helpful and professional. Thanks for allowing me to provide feedback.

CLAY MDrop off was a breeze. I did not catch the employees name, but he met me as soon as I enter the facility and guided me to the spot to drop the trailer. As soon as I backed into the spot, he unhooked the trailer. I never had to enter the office or sign anything. An email was sent quickly with verification of drop off.

Milton WFirst I was told I could pick up a trailer on Monday at 6. Then Monday afternoon I get a text, saying I need to pick up the trailer at 4:15. Well that is a problem, because I was at work till 5:30. So I set it up for the next day at 4:15 to pick the trailer up. Long story short the manager left early and I was told he would be right with me. So I set it up for Wednesday at 9 and finally got a trailer. Since I had reserved the trailer, I felt I should have at least received a call to let me know he wasnt there and no one would be able to hook the trailer up!
TROY VDoug was Awesome and very helpful. I was there before they were open and when Doug arrived he came right over to my vehicle to see if I needed help before they were technically open, that is rare these days. Would definitely recommend Midgard Self Storage for your Uhaul needs!!

Cindy RThe service provide was aware that we would be traveling 1200 miles. They obviously did not do a good check of the tires. We made it 200 miles and noticed a bulge in a tire and then the ride became quite uncomfortable. Stopped at a U Haul dealer and they did not deal with trailers. Had to wait 1.5 - 2 hours for Roadside Assistance. At that point, my husband had told the service tech that he noticed there was what appeared to be a gash in another tire that was there when we received the trailer (note that we had taken the trailer straight to a locked garage, loaded up, and left for Wisconsin so this was a defect in the tire that the U-Haul representative should have taken care of before sending us on the road). The technician did call back the U-Haul service center who did approve of replacing that tire also. Overall experience after getting the fix was fine. Just disappointed that the U-Haul rep in South Carolina would not have noticed something like this.

Michael SOffice people are very helpful and nice but the virtual screen system is not. It is loud, annoying, requires you to provide personal information to anyone in the facility and less helpful than onsite employees. I want a real person there for checking in, hookup, and checkout.
