DAVID JThis was a normal U-Haul location and was very efficient. This feedback form does not include the Load Share that I did - picked up a trailer in Jeffersonville, IN and dropped in Spartanburg, SC. The Jeffersonville location was completely baffled by my arrival. I had been contacted directly the day before about when I would arrive (9am). The location was not expecting me, and told me it would take 20 min. It took ONE HOUR and 20 min. At least it was very cold.

DAVID DSecond time I rented from this location this week. Was very clear to the 800 number agent I needed a 26 footer ar 8:30 am. Yesterday the reservation came through as 12:00 noon Two trucks were there but I ended up taking a 20 plus a trailer to fit my needs. When I returned a 26 was still there and had not moved. This change cost me 50 extra dollars. This was not fair but I had no choice. .

ROBIN BA) We were told truck had just arrived from "Uhaul": 1) there was a tire pressure warning light when we got into the truck. Went back in and they said they had confirmed it was just a sensor and that all the tires had the correct tire pressure. 2) the side mirrors were too rusted in place to allow us to adjust them-safety issue. 3) the passenger side head light was not working-safety issue. 4) there was debris in the cab and the box of the truck. 5) the drivers seat would not go back and had to drive with my knees touching the dash. B) When we dropped off the vehicle and advised the manager about the headlight being out but that we didn't get pulled over...., and that the mirrors wouldn't adjust..., he didn't even apologize.

Either way, I have rented from this location twice before and it has been convenient, clean, professional and very helpful. I would gladly recommend this location to anyone needing help with moving, storage or moving supplies.

CHARLIE SWould have been helpful if the agent showed me the vehicle and walked me through how to operate, adjust side mirrors, lights, windshield wipers, parking brake, etc. Instead, the agent was too busy helping other customers and simply gave me the keys and pointed to where the vehicle was parked.

Chad EIt is SUPER frustrating to pick up a truck only to find out that it has about 1/4 tank of gas in it and the first thing you have to do is fill it up with gas yourself. And, on top of that, you have to fill it to the same partial level when you drop the truck off. Don't fill it enough? You get a penalty fee. Fill it up too much? Too bad, you're out the cash. If you're going to charge a penalty fee to someone for not returning a truck with a full tank of gas, then that fee should be used for an employee to actually go fill the tank up with gas. If you're not going to do that, then you should incentivize the next renter to return the tank full of gas so that the next renter isn't unhappy and has to waste their time filling up the tank before even loading up for their move. It's really disappointing that your company pockets the penalty fees as profit while the people who are really paying the penalty are the renters who pick up a truck with a less-than-full tank.
DOUGLAS LTire pressure was 10 lb low in one tire. Need more staff on hand. Long wait.

KEVIN MThe U-Haul I rented ran very badly. It wouldn’t run right so it delayed me by around 6 hours of my move. Caused me so spend extra money on movers. The headlight didn’t work on the drivers side. I called to file a complaint and get feedback back but no one has called me back.
