The problem arose when Uhaul tried to redirect my drop off 40 minutes away to Otto, NC during bad winter weather. I turned the trailer in at Cashiers, the destination called for in our payment calculation You now arbitrarily try to double my rental fee Let me know your decision. I will not pay the penality as it is arbitrary, absurdly large and unjustified. Shall I file a dispute with the credit card? Should I recommend uhaul to everyone whom I know? Still HunterStill H.

Truck was picked up 20 minutes early and I was charged for 2 days although the truck was only used 10 hours. I am still waiting on a receipt from 1/10/21. When I called and spoke to a lady named Terry she told me all she does is push buttons and get a copied of a drivers license. Terrible customer service and could not answer any of my questions. If I could give a ZERO rating I would. The service is NOT what it used to be.Isaiah B.

When picking up the truck after hours it was wedged in between 2 other trucks. We were barely able to get it out. We reserved a dolly & a furniture dolly. Neither were on the truck causing us to delay our move to go back to the store to pick one up. The agent also said we would be refunded if we turned the truck in a day sooner. Apparently that was not true. We unhappy customers at this time & most likely will not use U-Haul again. Horrible experience.Julia C.
Terri the manager added $40 insurance to my bill despite me having specifically requested no insurance and when I asked her to remove it she said the order had already been processed. This is very bad business practice.David L.

Trailer tires were overfilled to get this trailer back to it's license plate destination of Florida. Don't know if it was at pickup or another location and transferred. Dangerous drive. Tires overheated stop frequently. Worst rental I have ever had.Lawrence W.
The Straps on the auto transport were not functional and the entire mechanism was rusted. We lost a day of travel because we had to return it back to Uhaul to get another one, which wasn't much better but at least usable. We are very disappointed with the lack of maintenance of the equipment. The people we dealt with at the locations were kind but didn't know some basic policies or information. I won't use Uhaul again unless they step it up and truly maintain their equipment.Cindy B.

We picked up the truck right before they closed on Sunday so we could have it early Monday morning to do our job. They don't have uber in the area is why we planned ahead. We returned the truck about a hour late and were charged for 2 days. We do this all over the country and was really shocked over this.Heather M.

Revised invoice sent to me on 9/19 for a rental returned on 9/13 charging me 4 extra days rental. Contacted Midgard and they refuse to correct it even though they admit their mistake. They are throwing the problem back on me saying I have to go to U-Haul directly to correct it. They made the mistake.Glen R.

We returned the equipment on Thursday 9/10. The personnel was on her 3rd day on the job and didn't quite know what to do. I received an invoice for an extra $40 on 9/15 as the equipment wasn't actually checked in by the location until 9/15. I called to dispute the charge. After a 36 minute hold time I was told the location is closed and someone will be contacting me. This is poor service and I am expecting for the error to be correctedAlan P.
