Bronwyn ODifficult pickup process, really confusing. Truck ran really rough at idle, almost shutting off and had no ac. The cargo area was cluttered with foam and fuzz and a ton of dog hair that I had to clean out before I put my house in it
Michael GI made a reservation and 2 hours before pick up, simeone feom the corporate ofice called and said they couldn't do it at this location. They said I could pick up a truck 30 miles away and could only have it 15 hours. They wouldn't reduce the price. I called thisnlocationand they tol.me they did have a larger truck available and I could have it for 24 hours. I called corporate back and the man I spoke with was belittling and condescending. I finally got it all straight but I have no desire to rent from them again.

JOVANY TTires/dash info showed needing air. I was told to go get air myself!!! WTF!!! Called for help, was told to upload pictures of tires, they would not listen to me about the dash warnings... Could not upload photos at checkout... Could not get a photo of mileage before and after. Could not add air, valve on both tires bad (probably why nobody at the rental place added air). I wasted 1 hour looking for a working commercial air system. Still could not add air.... I was charged for mileage wasted on trying to fix YOUR broken truck. . I want my money back on this rental. . I have never had a bad experience or ever a problem with UHaul... This was very bad and could have caused an accident... Not a very happy customer, make me happy!! Robert Wolf .
ROBERT WThe front windshield was covered with bug guts. Dangerous to drive this way, especially at night. Also, found a detergent pod in cab. Thank goodness I don't have kids and my dog did not eat it. Those things can be dangerous

THOMAS WI found the key box lock a little difficult to unlock. Once opened to retrieve the truck key, I noticed the box (#5) was coming loose from the wall so hopefully this has been noticed so it can be secured. This was my first time renting a U-Haul truck and the virtual manager on the 12th was genuinely kind and patient! Much appreciated, thank you!
KATHERINE HLeave a note to let the next person know the lock to lockbox may be hard to open because of being exposed to elements. When I contacted customer service, she was very kind and knowledgeable.

SHARON JThe truck was filthy, full of sand and dust in the cab. The check engine light and the battery light was on in the dashboard. And we were charged more than originally quoted.
Yamilca SIt was the oldest truck we have rented but I think they get moved around form location to location so don't know you have any control over that.

Jaimie LThe pick up process wasn't too bad, and the worker at Midgard was very friendly and helpful. I will say that your check in process through the website is a chore. Half the photos you asked me to take, I was unable to because other trucks were in the way. It also wasn't clear right away that you could take multiple photos of each side of the truck. The return process was rather stressful. I refused to use your app, so I accessed the process via a link you sent me by email. I was about three quarters of the way through the process when I accidentally hit the back button....this apparently sent my unfinished information on through? And there was no return receipt or any notification that it was okay. Keep in mind I hadn't even returned the key yet, but your site indicated the return was successful. This was extremely stressful after a long day of moving. Thankfully the same worker at Midgard was able to get us sorted out, but you need a more user friendly site for those who don't want to download the app.
JAMES SI do want to mention there was a lot of dead grass in the cargo area. I wish I had my blower I would have blown it out. I was surprised when I opened the back to load the chairs I bought. I used the furniture pads I had rented from you all around the floor to cover up the dead grass stuff. I wanted to be sure you knew that wasn't me who had all that dead grass in there - that must have been the previous renter. All I did was pick up NEW chairs at American Signature in Altamonte Springs, bring them to a remodel job in Daytona, then back to drop off the van. I was going to move some personal stuff into storage but got a migraine on I-4 so decided to just call it a day!

DANIEL AI had my location switched in me which caused me to have to drive extra miles in the dark to find this location. It was not well lit so had to go around the block to find a place to park the truck. Was charged extra for miles that I don't think is fair since my location was changed and area was not well lit. We put gas in the truck yet was charged for gas and the extra miles. Would not recommend
KIMBERLY GI little complicated to get keys in a box. I booked this location by mistake. I find it easier at the other place I always rent a truck in. More of human interaction at the other location. Then I had to walk like a block to get the truck. Not booking here again.
Susana FThe cargo bed was full of empty boxes also the dome light doesn't go out. Your light switch (lower leftside on the dashboard) fell out of the dash when I tried to use it.
William MI have rented many uhauls and this was the worst experience I have had. Kiosk wasn't working and employees not very good. Uhaul was dirty and had sticky substance on passenger seat. The truck drove very badly as it pulled to the right and vibrated and shook terrible

Stuart LTell the customer that the truck is outside of the gate because we walked into the gate, walked all over to find the truck and it was outside of the gate and we had no way to get out and my husband had to climb a fence and he’s 62 years old.

TIFFANY ANo people were available at the site and zero help with returning the van even though it was during working hours. I was told to download the app and figure it out yourself.
DARA ADon't jack the price of a cargo van to $178 when clearly the pricing online is no where NEAR that, but they have you by the short hairs if your stuff is packed and ready to load. Here's another tip: if a 10' truck is cheaper how about at least LOOK for a better deal for your customer instead of just saying it is what it is. No, it's not. Third fail with Uhaul on this move and if I EVER move again Budget or Penske it'll be.

John SGreeted by a virtual assistant waiting for the grounds keeper to arrive in a golf cart to assist pick up. The young lady who was processing the rental appeared to have a wad of tobacco in her cheek and required another woman to assist her on her computer work. Both were self absorbed and this being the THIRD time a wrong truck or no truck was available delaying my move by two weeks was unimpressive and the quote was over $40 higher than I was quoted a few days prior by Orange City in person reservation to be sent to a different location to pick up a truck. I thought it was highly unprofessional to process someones reservation with a tobacco wad in her right cheek. You're working with the public not auditoning to a baseball team , 🥺. And clean the grease out of the granny over so your renter doesn't have to do it before loading their rental. I took photos of that mess before I cleaned it.

Tom WThe truck was fine, but the app to do the after hours pickup was a disaster. It kept glitching past the page where it would tell me where and how to get the truck key. Also, the app asks to take a photo of the driver license, it should state criteria. It took four attempts before the agent finally told me all four corners had to be visible I was holding the license by a tiny corner of it every time and it kept being rejected but it took FOUR attempts before I was told what was lacking in each photo. Once that was explained, I was able to take an acceptable photo. Finally, because of the glitch with the key info page, I ended up on hold twice for over 35 minutes trying to call on my cell phone the U-Haul number for help. So, a pickup that should have taken less than ten minutes ended up taking well over an hour and fifteen minutes.
Karen LI reserved a truck about two weeks out. The day before pickup I was called and told that the truck I reserved is not available at the location I wanted. I was told there was a truck at a nearby location about 1.5 miles away. In the 30 hours prior to pickup why can’t the truck I requested be moved to the location I wanted?

David BI was over charged by $40.00. I went back to the location and the clerk advised we didn’t fill the vehicle which we did and I provided a photo of the gauge. She showed me her picture of the wrong truck. After figuring it out, the clerk found the right picture that matched mine. She said that she would contact haul but I still haven’t heard back.
James CArrived during normal business hours and sign stating open. Door locked and number provided to call if the door was locked. Called several times and left a message we were waiting. Never received a call back and decided to drop off trailer using the mobile app.

Lori HThe only issue I had was, I didn't receive a email or any kind of confirmation for the combination of the after hours drop off box for the key. I called U-Haul Corp and Stephanie said to put the key in the box for the locks.
