Your lock boxes need maintenance maybe some WD40.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI needed a truck for a move from Deland, Fl to Ocala, Fl. I rented the truck at Midgard storage in Deland. The truck rental came up to $336.39 for a 65 miles drive. Then they charged me another $2.04 for an extra 1.9 miles over the allowed milage This is prime example of corporate greed. The rental itself is outrageous and the extra $2 is just pathetic. Very disappointed with the way the rental was handled and the amount I was charged. I have used U haul several times in the past and always had been a great experience and fair pricing. This time I was just taken advantage of. Felt really ripped off by u haul. Next time I would reconsider who I rent a truck from.
Dennis RTruck was not cleaned between users. There were 3 dollies in the cargo area, not supposed to be in the truck. Trash in the cargo area, sand on the floor mats in the cab, smelled like an ashtray also. The key was located in the wrong lock box, had to contact their virtual support system at the storage facility. They cannot keep employees at this location as I had a similar problem in the past at this location. I am done renting from Surguard location. They give UHual a bad reputation. You can improve the rental experience by dumping this location.
JOSEPH KExcellent customer service. Excellent equipment. I highly recommend UHaul and especially this location. Very friendly. And helpful. Also, in general, U-Haul has the best app and prices.
Laurence BThe parking slots are way too small so when returning I had to park on the other side of the building. I had to leave my car there while I did my move; there is no other available parking except for the disabled parking spots. I didn’t like the virtual customer service person.
