You really should warn someone when they book an in person rental when there won’t be a physical person on site and you need to download an app. Not everyone has storage capacity on their phone to download one more app. The virtual person was able to help but it would have been nice to have been told this when I reserved the truck or I might have chosen another location for pick up.

ANTONIO ABeing able to easily talk to an on site manager would be preferred- but we found the virtual staff to be very helpful and supportive. Lee did an excellent job getting us checked in and ready to go. She was patient with getting us checked in and made sure we had everything together concerning the rental before we left the facility.
Sandra BDidn’t have the correct vehicle I ordered. Did not have the dolly I rented! Had to go to buy one at ACE for 100 dollars because it was last minute. No one communicated with me that there were any issues so I was caught by surprise and this delay my pick/move time!
TORI BReal people at a counter that can actually help you when there is some kind of issue, instead of you having to run back and forth talking to a screen. I know about advancement in technology, but a screen can not help the way a body standing behind a counter could. Would have made life a little easier on the customer.

Amy FI selected NO to above question because the equipment was dropped off a day earlier than expected (29 Sep, Sunday) after hours. The original drop off date was 30 Sep. therefore, no personnel available to rate.
ANTHONY BI will not be going to this location ever again!! The teleworker, just kept saying “you have to get the app” not helpful at all!!! I finally figured out how to do it online. Without getting the U-Haul app.

LISA DI rented a UHaul to to go one way through the “Virtual” portal at Midguard Self Storage Oakland. The app was down so the person had to fill out all the information concerning the rental for me. When I returned the UHaul I was charged for an IN TOWN ONLY RENTAL which was never discussed. UHaul refuses to help me resolve this situation concerning the error that was made by the person who filled out the information via a virtual representative. THIS is a complete rip off and UHAUL completely refused to help resolve this matter This had nothing to do with the drop off location. It was Midguard Self Storage Oakland and UHaul. The person who filled out the rental through the virtual portal completely filled out the information incorrectly and gave me false information. UHaul would not listen to anything I had to say. This is complete fraud. They charged me several hundred dollars over what I was quoted the charges would be.
Dana MI did not get the 12 pads for furniture moving that I paid for the AC did not work in the truck The cruise control did not work in the truck. I really like talking to a person face-to-face not a damn computer person on a screen when I went by there that’s the only choice I had.🛻

Lynn VThe location was clean and the truck was as well. The truck drove terrible, and I have owned a fleet of moving trucks for my business in the past so I know how they typically drive. The people I spoke with on the digital board were all very nice and helpful. The app is horrible and did not function properly for pick up or return. It took 30 minutes each time to complete the pick up and return. That said, I would use this location again simply because the people that assisted me were very helpful
William BLack of communication. Note on rental said i would not be charged additional rental fee. Due to office location said it was open when i went to return dolly. But office door was locked and closed. Virtual manager today charged and addituonal fee.

Ronald SThis location did not even have a live person at the desk. I had to check in with a “virtual assistant”, which was just a person on zoom. Furthermore, they did not fill the uhaul gas tank to full, which makes it incredibly difficult to know how much gas to put back in.

Paul SOnly issue was this was an enclosed cargo trailer and my items still got wet inside. Otherwise, service was amazing! Dropped off late when we got done unloading and before I could get up and call to advise that we dropped that night…the receipt was in my email! Amazing service!
Brown SWe picked up a dolly and there was no one that could tell us how to load and secure the car since it wasn’t a real UHaul location. In the event we need to do this again, we will only rent from a location that has onsite help.

David WThe people working that desk, were rude. We were charged $140 instead of a regular $70. We were NEVER told we had a return time. We never had the trailer for more than 24 hours. We got it at 5:00pm and returned it the next day at 2:00pm. I don’t appreciate them taking my damn money when I never had it for 24 hours and them being rude about it. I will never recommend this place to anyone, and I’m for sure never come back here. No wonder the reviews suck.

BARRY SWhen I first arrived to rent, the door was locked. Robert quickly got to the door and unlocked it. Robert was by himself and had been in the yard area behind the store for maintenance. No issue with that.

George Btruck had alot of damages that were marked. the driver side door didnt close properly. the truck made a loud whining noise when let off the gas. it did not seem to accelerate properly the vehicle was very clean but mechanically needs work.

shannon wMy reservation was cancelled because of not picking the truck up on time from 7384 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Cordova, TN 38018 and I was told to pick another one from the Oakland location which is 21 miles away. I thought U-haul is secured if I made a reservation and completed the online sign in process. On top of that, I was not given if not picked up on time, reservation would be cancelled notice. Unfortunately, I had to travel for more than half an hour and over charged for the fuel and miles. I did not know U-haul is such a company which should not be trusted and filled with people who don't have a little care for the customers needs and even for the business itself. I totally lost my trust on this company and I would NOT recommend to anyone else unless I got reimbursed my extra money I got robbed by your senseless deeds.
