UHAUL website showed no 26' trucks available at this location. Was told at the location that 26' "one way" trucks are available and used as "in town trucks" because the in town truck is down for maintenance. Was shown a photo of the dimensions of the 20' truck. It was incorrect. This required several extra hours of loading and unloading, and an additional trip in a separate vehicle. We rent several trucks per year. Tried UHAUL as an alternative source, and regret it.Matthew B.

Explain to the young working there, tht some of us customers would like to hook a trailer up due to the fact it falls on us as operators of the vehicle if not hooked up right. I asked her 4 times to let me handle it since I drive tractor trailers for a living. She finally moved and allowed me to handle after barking that she does it all day everyday. She would have had my wife moving my truck forward and backward still to this day had I not stepped in. She has bad customer service skills.Scott G.

The man gave me the wrong car puller hatch and I'm want to know if I'm get money back and no one wants to answer me. The first packers people tried to miss use me all day waiting and still never came that was Monday. But Tuesday those guys was the boom the were excellent. The roadway is good but there is a very deep drop off to get to equipment and can cause damage to equipment or vehicle. Got stuck in yard as there is a 15 inch drop off to return equipment. Some parking spaces are very difficult to access due to drop off of roadway.richard R.
I returned the rental during business hours. The open sign was on but the door was locked and the building appeared empty. I called the number on the building with no answer. 9am pickup appt. Turned into a 1 hour wait for a locksmith. Regional manager Christian took the only set of keys home with him the night before. I guess he wasn't able to bring them back by 9am to open the store. The assistant that was there waiting as well was nice. The truck we eventually got was in awful shape. Duct tape around the steering column, glass broken on radio, and cabin hadn't been cleaned in sometime between grime all over, scummy seats and smell. I rented plenty before and don't have huge expectations but some cleaning should be standard practice. Online checkout process has flaws. Gas gauge was not on full but thought it was not accurateâ€¦until I filled it up for the next user. The assistant mgr was pleasant and I don't fault him.regional guy should've brought the keys. He had several customers plus the locksmith. I didn't want to press about the truck.Marybeth W.

I was extremely disappointed I was supposed to have a dolly did not have a dolly had to purchase a dolly for 70 bucks the truck was so dirty and disgusting on the inside and the back and I had to buy a tarp before I could even put down my furniture because it was so disgusting we had to take Clorox wipes and try to clean down as much as we could to make the drive as comfortable as possible the truck was very unacceptable but we had to have the truck. Very disappointed that we had to come out of pocket for other things after paying what we have to do or even rent the truck it was very unacceptableLORI R.

They canceled my reservation after I had already completed my trip no one helped me hook my trailer up I had to repair the light wiring harness myself to get the lights to work I had to call and remake the same reservation before I could return the unit then the recieving uhal dealer couldn't even check the unit in because the rental time start was after the return would have beenDOLEN R.

Require both key drop off and key pick up boxes at every location. If uhaul changes the reservation uhaul should not charge the client for the extra mileage for pick up from the original place reserved for pickup. The wait time to speak to a representative is ridiculously long.Christine C.

office opened an hour late. No way to directly contact someone to get an ETA. The corporate call center suggested I come back at a later, unspecified time. Not exactly great customer service. After the office opened, I was told to drive to the back of the lot and unhitch the trailer myself. No assistance whatsoever. That trailer is heavy. I was fortunate that another customer was there who helped me lift it to get it off the hitch. This is my second experience with a Midgard facility, and both were less than stellar moments, especially when compared to working with a U-Haul facility.JUSTIN R.
The uhaul was left with just 1/2 a tank of gas upon first receiving it (even though the location is beside a gas station), and hitched to a trailer that I did not need or request. I had to remove it myself. The gate is also locked after hours, and they did not provide a code upon receiving the uhaul to return the uhaul after office hours. Even though they say you can return it then. I ended up having to bother another storage customer to let me in the gate with their code the next day. Also, no one answered the â€œcall anytimeâ€ phone number listed on the side of the building or their other main number to resolve this issue. So the sign should say â€œcall when we are open.â€ On the topic of being open, they are open an hour later than other places, and their uhauls are in a protected area. But it is no good after hours, if there isn't a code given. After all these issues and also the location being further out, I would use another uhaul dealer.Rachel Y.

The uhaul customers service reps DO NOT know anything about the individual locations. We had to change our pick up time to after hours for the location and the person said since we could use the 24/7 mobile pick up things were fine. That was NOT the case. We were unable to pick up the uhaul and had to make a new reservation for the following morning during operating hours. Uhaul needs to get it together.YURI R.
The price quoted when I reserved the truck on your website was $119. I took this quote to our booster program and got approved to spend that much. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck, the price was twice as much. This causes issues when I am using board approved funds and they are suddenly twice as much. (this is how teachers get fired) I then tried to call your hotline and after 25 minutes on hold I finally spoke with a rep and minutes later was cut off mid sentence and put back on hold. I hung up after 10 more minutes of waiting. Your customer service is atrocious. You need to make sure that your price online is the same price given to the vendor and that your vendor is willing to honor the online price. In a normal (non-covid) year, we will rent 10-15 trucks a year for our High School and Middle School Band Programs and this experience has made the board discuss switching rental companies.Ivar Matthew O.
