Janis GWrong truck was available for mobile pickup. When I asked them later about it, they said I should have called their office #. I called U-Haul and they were not able to help me either so I climbed over the fence with the correct key and got the correct truck. Not a good start and will be renting directly from a Uhaul center in the future.
Anthony DMidgard was a great location and tgeir oersonell was excellent. However our experience with U-haul phone personnel and overall process was abysmal- very complicated to deal with to make a modification to a reservation and information from u-haul different from the one we received from Midgard. We won’t be using U-haul again
Michael UThe only reason I did not rate Midgard as "excellent" is because the check-in experience took about 45 minutes. I chose not to download the app or do the online form until I arrived to pick up my rental truck. But the virtual asst. was helpful, and then Pete, the onsite manager, was available to help towards the end. The other issue was poor Internet in their office, but I was able to do it all outside on the sidewalk. The truck was quite clean, had a full tank of gas, and was easy to drive. There were plenty of scratches and marks on the exterior, but we took photos, as Pete suggested, and almost all of the marks were already identified with stickers. Pete suggested taking photos of the odometer and gas gauge as well. When we returned the truck several hours later, the check-out experience with Pete was very efficient. This location allows for a key pick-up outside the building, as well as a dropbox for key returns.
Judi MI really have nothing to comment on your improvements. It was a very. Uncomplicated experience. Everything went smoothly.
KAREN BLocation needs better cell/wi-fi coverage to help expedite check ins and outs. Could also use a better variety of equipment available to rent down to hand trucks and carts.
Stan NThere's only a virtual assistant no one was there to get the keys the person who's supposed to run it that they called had their phone off took me an hour to get out of there with my truck. They charge me for gas when I had already put gas in it. I only went 12 miles and they charge me for a 26 foot truck when I rented a 20 foot truck never use U-Haul again.

Les FI don't like talking to someone in a video phone scenario. Face to face with a person on site is way more personable.

TOMAS MThe truck was fine but the virtual manager experience was horrible. Add to that find my truck was difficult then I had to function as an unpaid attendant and spent about 20 minutes in a poorly served cellular phone service area checking my truck in.

John TThis location also rents storage space. I specifically asked if I would be able to drop off the trailer there and was told yes. Then, when I arrived and asked the virtual assistance where I was to drop off the trailer I was told to leave it by the rest of the U-Haul equipment. Later that evening I get a voicemail from the same person saying that location does not deal with trailers and that I was going to have to come get it and drop if off somewhere else. Totally ridiculous. I called the U-Haul 1-800 number and spoke to a really nice lady who said she would advise the district manager of the situation and they would handle it. So I'm very pleased with U-Haul as a company, but not with MidGard storage.

DMITRI KSuper easy to rent and follow the information given to be able to rent with ease. Peter was so friendly helpful in the whole process and even assisted me in getting the equipment I added to my U-Haul truck. Moving is never easy but at least they made the day that much better.

RICHARD MEquipment does not include cruise control and may need new brakes (rotors). Equipment rental in particular has seen better days and the taped windscreen is not something I would like to see in the future. All dings and dents were marked with the "X" showing it had been accounted for already. Due to the FEMA mandates, other rental companies cancelled truck reservations so UHaul is where I had to go. I was not able to be too picky as long as the truck was reasonably sized. I will use the location again for sure and the trucks all appear to be in good working order.

JESSE MOnline/virtual check in check out was a terrible experience. The process was slow and I was recommended to use the unsecured free wifi and then my personal information is vulnerable. I do not like that I have to give access to my camera and location data. At checkout the app was unbearable while I waited for my photos to upload. The reliance on technology and making the customer work through it is a poor business decision by corporate executives. I will never use this location again and will likely not use U-Haul as long as I can find anyone else to rent from
Joel EWe accomplished our objective of renting a vehicle but found the experience cold and impersonal. Upon entering the building a virtual announcement alerts a virtual attendant who told us to use the app. The checkout process was time consuming with slow upload speeds and no personal service. During this process an employee walked out of the bathroom, seemed to go out of her way to avoid eye contact and immediately went into the employees only office. The return experience was the same, time consuming and impersonal. The virtual rental process has gone from convenient to cold and impersonal. Will try somewhere else next time.

Stephani MMidgard Storage is a good place to pickup or dropoff the truck. Be aware of their closing hours/day just in case you need someone to help. In addition, cell reception in Viera is sketchy so it may take more time to do a mobile check in or check out.
Tommy WI had to wait one hour after completing all paperwork because they could not locate the keys to the truck I was renting. That is unacceptable.
Moustafa ALocation was "open". Personnel was "virtual". Not helpful. Had to call the Uhaul number for assistance. Then complete the drop-off myself to submit. There were problems with the air conditioner in the truck and it seemed like no one cared.
Robert CIt was a virtual assistant at this location. I had an issue picking up and couldn’t be helped because physically no one was in person. Was told I would be charge extra because of a problem with their website and app.

Timothy BTracy, the location manager, and Pete, an employee were very pleasant and helpful....on multiple occasions. Tracy even backed the 26' truck into it's parking space for me when I returned, and checked it in, allowing me to leave very quickly.
Jerry CMore maintenance done to the vehicles not only clean and put back out for rent. Vehicle will shake at 55mph steering wheel was not in its proper center location. Several lights came on while driving
luis gReturning the truck was very difficult. Everything went smooth with the exception of dropping the key in the drop box. I spent almost an hour trying to get the cell phone app to work to drop the key in the drop box. I could not get the cell phone app to work. Why can I not just drop the key in the drop box!
